She was popular for her many novels, particularly those about the Courtland and Rainwood families.

One of my (very old) novels I never have the heart to throw away.
As a girl I loved this book. It is a very simple story but very nicely told and typical of the 60s-70s.
From their first meeting, when Garth Courtney had nearly run Nicola down in the lane, their relationship seemed fated to be a stormy one.... (from the blurb).
This is about the blossoming relationship of Garth and Nicola over one year.
