Con questo volume si conclude la prima stagione dell'Anime e quindi d'ora in avanti (salvo spoiler che mi ero già fatta *coff coff* Tamsy *coff coff*), sarà tutta una scoperta.
Faccio una piccola rassegna delle impressioni che ho avuto:
1) mi dispiace per la situazione di Amo, ma il personaggio continua comunque a non piacermi, è più forte di me;
2) mi intriga che Kyoka abbia definito Enjin un manipolatore riguardo al fatto che Zanka si sia unito ai Cleaners perché qui credo che ci sia molto da approfondire, dato che su Enjin non si sa ancora tantissimo;
3) il mio cervello che è bellamente esploso nel momento in cui ho realizzato che il cognome di Rudo al contrario è Cerberus.
In generale, la situazione si sta facendo sempre più interessante, sia per quanto riguarda i Cleaners che i Raiders.

A revelation leads to the decision to find Amo, which prompts the Cleaners to contact Kuro, the information broker, who draws them into a dangerous game—and frankly, a bit of a stupid one.

Urana stretches out her story—the entire volume could have been told in two chapters—and the over-the-top card goes a little too far—Kuro is going to annoy me soon, I can feel it.

Fortunately, the information provided, as well as the revelation of Amo's captor, revive the plot.

The artwork is very mixed: either Urana is tired or she is entrusting too many characters to assistants who are clearly not up to the task.

THE Enjin panel and Tamsy lore?? Oh we're eating good

Okay, like, what the actual fuck? Crazy plot twists, I didn't expect that betrayal at all, but I low-key kind of love it...? Kinda torn though, since Amo really doesn't deserve being held and tortured like that. Tamsy's day off was genius, I love him. Loving the found family still, baby Rudo needs to be protected at all costs. Really curious about Zanka's sister and hoping we see more of him soon (he's literally one of my favourites). Curious about Enjin's real name too, I wonder what the context for all that is. I don't like the information broker at all, but so glad we're getting back into the intense action and ass kicking again!

4.5; this volume is a perfect transitional chunk from one arc to the next. it furthers the mysteries that were raised about the lore of the sphere in the previous volume while also providing some forward momentum AND two perfectly placed crucial reveals (relating to tamsy and rudo’s name). the way that this manga metes out info bit by bit so intentionally is just one of many reasons why it’s so compelling and addictive. and of course the characters continue to be an absolute unhinged delight, and i’m so stoked about all the new characters and potential dynamics that have been introduced, namely fu becoming a cleaner, zanka’s siblings, and momoa. every single time i finish a volume of this series i find myself feeling positively feral for the next one

ooh boy, this is so funn

so firstly, we get more lore abt rudo and the watchmen series. in ch. 87, where we go back to canvas town, a mural made by the first spellcaster includes the symbol seen in rudo's gloves. remlin supplies that, alongside the other symbols, it represents the spellcaster's closest friends, and that the watchmen symbol belonged to one named canis surebrec. same surename sa rudos'.

i mean, okay chosen one. nah but, seriously that's a cute coincidence? (ik its intenional dont at me) this also cements the fact that there had been people, aside from the angel, who were capable of crossing the border without dying. anddd it seems like enjin does know more than he lets on.

also, tamsy. you YOU. such a bastard wth.

Kei Urana, the artist and worldbuilder that you are!!!! The whole worldbuilding of this manga is very reminiscent of Dorohedoro (which is one of my all time favorites). While I love a lot of the new up and coming shounen action manga we are getting, Gachiakuta has to be at the top (Gokurakugai is a close second. It has an amazing worldbuilding, great character and character designs, AMAZING ART (like, you can tell this artist understands proportions, dimensions and how to portray emotion through her drawings and use of tones (though it's mainly black and white)). The political intrigue is slowly starting to become one of my favorites in a while. And, last but certainly not least, AMAZING FIGHT SCENES - this manga has some crazy fights but it doesn't just dump action for the sake of action. Every battle is purposeful and has a good build up, (an area where I feel like a lot of shounen action manga fails to explore).

Omg Plottwist!!

Erkennt eigentlich noch jemand ein Muster zufälliger und genialer Autoszenen? Ich liebe sie alle. Der Running Gag über Gris' gefählich-friedlichen Fahrstil, ein Kampf, der in einem fliegenden Auto endet und jetzt der "mobile Putztrupp" in Aktion bei einem Kampf in einem fahrenden Auto. Wie kommt man nur auf so geniale Ideen?

The art in this series continues to be absolutely wild in the best possible way. I love how totally unhinged all the characters are allowed to look, even the girls/women. It's nice that everybody get to look kind of scary, you don't see that in a lot of manga.
Also, on a fundamental level I relate to how Rudo feels about sugar. I too am a carb fiend.

And the reveal of who is capturing Amo, did not expect that person, I'm shocked. More than the reveal of Rudo's (potentialy) family line.

I'm curious of the new character from Raider, her(?) design looks cute! Cannot wait to see how their power be

bueno alcance al anime y debo señalar como primer punto que la forma de revelar a Tamsy fue mucho más gloriosa y eso que en el anime me encantó pero bueno como no estoy para comparar sino para disfrutar solo lo quise anotar y de aquí en más se viene lo interesante y que ganas tengo
