The Kingdom's Greatest Treasures #4

The Royal Gold of the Humans

Rate this book
Three girls. Four kingdoms. One potion.

Maeve, Katerina, and Leyna have collected two of the four items needed for Dania’s potion after facing many difficulties. But time is running out. While Katerina focuses on tricking the Cursed King for the skin of a soulless, Maeve helps Leyna prepare to marry the Elven King in order to pull the Human King away from his land.

Everything seems to be going smoothly, but eventually, cracks start to form in the airtight plan. The Fae Queen is suspicious of Emris and his involvement, the Human King will not let any information about his Royal Gold slip, and the Cursed King is more entangled in the web of lies than he appears to be.

Will the girls be able to pull off the last heist, or will Dania’s life slip away at the last moment?

The Royal Gold of the Humans is the fourth and final book in a four part book series.

I screamed when the ARC suddenly hit my inbox. Actually screamed. I dove right into it, and now I’m sitting here both glad and sad because The Royal Gold of the Humans is the final part of the series; and reaching those last pages felt so bittersweet. Bo Salem wrapped everything up in a way that felt satisfying but still left me aching a little, the good kind of ache you get when you’ve spent such a long time with characters and suddenly have to let them go.

I loved getting all the POVs, but Katerina absolutely owned this book for me. Justice for her, always!! Each time the story shifted back to her, I perked up. And Nova… I keep saying this with every iteration, but she’s officially my favorite companion now. I would die for her! I also love how she just casually keeps returning to the Cursed Kingdom as if it's no biggie.

I’m really sad it’s over, but SO thankful I got to experience it early. It's been such an adventure, and will probably end up being a series I will revisit in the future.

What an emotional way to bring this series to a close! I loved following these characters one last time and seeing them come together for their final adventure. There were plenty of happy and heartbreaking moments, along with a plot twist that completely caught me off guard. The different POVs added so much to the story, and I really enjoyed getting one last look at everyone’s perspectives. The character chemistry was wonderful, and I appreciated how the misunderstandings between them were finally cleared up. I also have to mention the animal sidekicks, because they were all so adorable and had such fun personalities. The elven king remains one of my favorite male characters. By the end, I was genuinely emotional and even shed a few tears saying goodbye to these characters. I’m so glad I gave this series a chance, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to whatever the author writes next! Thanks to Bo Salem for this ARC!

The last book in the series was like a roller coaster of emotion, I felt sad and happy and there were times where my eyes were wide open with disbelief! I loved the chemistry between the characters and how they cleared up every misunderstanding between them. However, I wasn't really expecting a plot twist and it had me staring at the wall and now I'm traumatized.😀

I'm so glad to have picked up this series, it was such a lovely experience. I'd like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity to ARC read this book 🫶🏻💕

I can't believe I finished this series (or did it finish me?)
The ending was definitely bittersweet and yes, I cried.

You get so connected to these characters while reading this series, and in this last book you get all of their POV's for one last adventure: get the last ingredient to safe Dania, Maeve's little sister.

Bo also writes the most amazing animal sidekicks, I couldn't tell you which one is my favourite. They're all absolutely adorable.

Also: the elven king is just a walking green flag and I love him for it.
