Very little plot or character development and a lot of editing errors- missing words, missing letters, syntax errors. Written in first person.

An okay read
Just a short story with some sex in it . The characters were not really fleshed out and there were opportunities to do so. Both Sable and Ava were nice characters but flat as the author did not take the time to develop then. Sable a billionaire who helps the poor. If he is a panther or any shifter with his money surely he would have a family some betas and other shifters. We are nothing of his family or friends. Only what people have said about him. Also he finds it difficult to find someone special. Why? One would think with his good looks women...men would be falling at his feet. He seemed very needy. Not at all the Alpha male. And Ava... .mourning her mother 's passing... No flashbacks, no mention of her life in the city... Another needy person. Even the sex was stilted . It lacked the passion ... Seemed more sex by numbers.. So it was an okay read but I didn't feel inspired or uplifted nd this tale. Sorry.!

Well written story
Excellent characters, great chemistry. Story was well written. For a story I believe to be part of a series, Part 1 was on cover and in title, the story a satisfying Happy For Now ending. Considering how many times I've been ambushed by a story stopping in the middle of a scene I appreciate authors who let me make an informed decision on whether I will purchase.

Not a fan
The plot was good but the book fell short. I very very seldom don't read books to the end but dialogue between the characters had no depth. The writing in between was good, which was so odd because when you added interactions, it was bad enough to make me roll my eyes at the characters. I may try the second book to see if the author did better but ...

Good but Needs Work....
The story is good. There are a lot of grammatical errors that makes you read the sentences several times to get the full meaning. This breaks the reading flow. There were also a few parts that left room for self interpretation. I like to feel like I'm sitting right there with the characters. I did not get that familiarity with Ava and Sable.

Beautifully Written
Ava inherits her mother’s house in the Bayou. One her first encounters is Sable. Sable is a panther shifter and early on realizes that Ava is his mate. My only complaint is that the book is only written from Ava’s POV. I would have loved to heard Sable’s thoughts!

Short and sweet
Insecure curvy girl and hot panther shifter mate. What mire could you ask for? This was more a novella short sweet with a pleasurable ending.
