“I moved to New York from Iowa to find a life that I didn't know I was looking for. I expected to have to work hard and barely make ends meet. But…I never expected to meet HIM.”
For twenty-one year-old Aleena Davison, it was a life-long dream coming true when she said goodbye to her dreary small-town life in Iowa and moved to Manhattan. However, it didn’t take long for her dream to turn into a nightmare. Everything from the roommate from hell to her asshole of a boss, contributed to her pain and she’d just about given up. That was…until she ran into devilish handsome, Dominic Snow. The mysterious stranger not only tried saving her waitress job, but also made her an offer she couldn’t refuse, a new and much more lucrative job. “Strictly professional,” he’d insisted. But could she trust herself working for the hottest man she’d ever met?

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads~~
The first in a serial of 6 installments - a lot is made of this form of release and in this case it definitely works, even if you have all 6 on your Kindle ready to go, the pause between each is just enough to make you think, which I like. Until on demand tv and boxed sets we imbibed nearly all tv series in this format and never thought twice about it. Much of Dickens work was released in serial format (not that I enjoy it !!)
So, the set up happens in this installment and right from the start the heat level, due to some fabulous chemistry in a chance moment, promises much. I enjoyed the little asides and the touches which gave us so much with just hints and suggestions. I was certainly intrigued enough to want to get straight into episode 2.

This is a short story, many installments to follow of the Serving Him series. This starts off with Aleena who is a transplant from small town Iowa to the Big Apple struggling to make ends meet. Dominic Snow is the likely hero, rich and gorgeous. He rescues Aleena from falling after being accidentally hit by one of the restaurant patrons where Aleena is a server. Dominic & Aleena find themselves drawn to each other. Aleena goes for a job interview set up by Dominic where she finds the job of a lifetime. His personal assistant.
The story started off a little predictable. We see some insights in Dominic's dark past but not much background. The story moves well enough, but it wasn't until the last 10 pages that I found myself intrigued in where this story might take us. I will definitely stick around for #2.
I really enjoyed this story. Aleena needed to leave Iowa and find herself. She went to NYC and was just as lost. When working at her job as a waitress and a incident happen and with her boss being an ass, she knew it was t going to end well, that is where she meet Dominic Snow, who thought he saved her but like I said her boss is an ass. When she thought she lost her necklace, Dominic was the one who found it and returned it. There was something about her that caught his eye but he thought she was too innocent. With not having s job and Dominic telling her that a company was holding interviews will her luck change? The chemistry and attraction is there and can't wait to read what will happen next
Aleena, originally a waitress from Iowa, is in desperate need of a job. Her roommate is mean, her rent is overdue and Aleena starts to worry about surviving NYC living expenses. A chance meeting with a successful businessman, Dominic, just might change Aleena's future. Will Dominic introduce Aleena into his deepest desires? Does Aleena fantasize about Dominic? Does she want her boss? M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild's Serving Him was an awesome read and has me desperate for volume 2! You will not be disappointed!
I really like how M.S. Parker writes. I am not familiar with Cassie Wild, but will have to check out her books. I deducted 1 star because this is a serialized book. I don't understand serialization of a story when it could be released as a full book. It would then be rated as 9 or 10 stars.
On to the review of the story line: Very well written, HOT story of Aleena and Dominic. I won't rehash the synopsis of the story. Highly recommend for anyone over 18. Next chapters to be released May 25th. Looking forward to reading how much hotter it gets between Aleena and Dominic.
Tell me what you were doing in the bathtub and then let me do it all over again
This was a quick short read, that was chosen for me for a reading challenge. It is, of course, about a low-on-funds-girl that meets a-super-rich-handsome-boy and they end up wanting each other. So, surprise surprise at the end she is his PA, and living in his über big Central Park apartment. To be continued in volume 2.....
I loved the beginning of this book. Small town girl young meets big wig sex God. I can't wait to see how this is going to go working and desiring this man. Love her books bring me more please.
This was the first for me from this author and I’m on the fence.
It was an ok read. I mean it had sex and angst which I like but I almost felt like this book was trying too hard to be erotic. Not sure how to explain it but there was all this content but not enough context.
Why was Dominic the way he was? Why was he desiring the dominant role? I understand that this is a volume but the author could have given a glimpse to make me want to continue reading. I’m not sure why but this book was just ok.
Thank you M.S. Parker for bringing Ms. Aleena Davison into my life, she is my new favorite sassy mouth beauty on duty!! Dominic Snow was some kind of a wonderful and a disaster at the same time, as much as I wanted to not like Dominic and his treatment of Aleena, he some how managed to pull me in to his arms just as he did Aleena. Great read and great series. I purged on the series in two days and it was well it!
Honestly, how long does it take this woman to get it. He likes to beat on her just like he was beaten when he was kidnapped. He needs counseling again. She is a beautiful biracial woman who needs to move on to find herself. I couldn’t finish this book.
Boring... They have no real passion. H and h behave during the sex es if the are acting in some bmsd bad porn. Except for their first time I didn't feel any real emotion form them.. DNF 50% was my hard limit for this book ;)
What a fun intro, the imagery that they come up with is going to be fun with them now working together. Wonder if Molly starts working with them as well to get out from working with creepy boss. Fawne promises to be the best instigator for them to get together.
Aleena Davison never really fit in at her home in Iowa and always dreamed of moving to New York. Now that she is finally where she wants to be, she is still missing something. Now without a job thanks to a jerk for a boss and a roommate from hell, Aleena is determined to keep her New York dreams alive. The mysterious hot customer who tried to help save her job is back again but what they both don’t know is the only job she is able to get from Winter Enterprises is the one they both don’t know if they can handle it. Will Aleena be able to keep this professional or will the chemistry these two felt explode leaving them questioning everything?
I was given a copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review.
Aleena is a woman who is still trying to find herself, which is why she moved to New York, but what she’s hoped to find hasn’t come up yet. Aleena does come off as a strong-willed independent woman but she knows that she still needs to work on a few things to be the person she wants to be. Dealing with a boss who wants to sleep with her and a roommate who only wants your rent cheque wears her down. After losing her job, Aleena does what she can but not much seems to happen until she runs into Dominic Snow, the hot stranger who tried to help her.
Dominic Snow has decided that there is no chance he’ll ever be in a relationship again but after bumping into the Aleena and trying to help her, he’s feeling things he doesn’t understand. No woman has ever affect him this way before. Dominic is used to being in control and having is submissive do as his desire but his desire for Aleena has put a damper on his Dom ways.
This is the first of a series of novella that MS Parker has collaborated with Cassie Wild and they are off to an amazing start. Aleena is a woman we all can relate to as she has taken the step to follow her dreams. Leaving a small town and her family shows the strength it takes to be able to follow your dreams. Yes, Aleena felt like she never fit in there but what stay at a place you don’t feel welcomed in. New York is big and people aren’t the same but it’s a big step. Aleena deals with a crappy boss like some of us do and a bad roommate but life isn’t a hearts and flowers. This was portrayed as I would think life in Manhattan would be like. Dominic is all Alpha male. He runs a successful company and is about to start a new one up. It’s ironic that his new company is a match making service and the man doesn’t date or want to be tried to a woman. He has a kind heart but doesn’t show it until of course he tries to help save Aleena’s job. I think the fact that he went as far as trying to help Aleena get a job shows just how big his heart is. I’m looking forward to finding out what happened to make Dominic close his heart off to any possibility of love. This is just the beginning of the series and I’m already looking forward to reading what is going to happen next for Aleena and Dominic and to see what both M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild has in-store for these two.

This review is for all six books in the Serving Him series.
Serving Him is a six part serial romance that really delivers. The main characters are both interesting and easy to connect to, the heat levels are off the scale and the storyline kept my attention from the start of book one until the end of book six. Sometimes I get annoyed with authors splitting stories up into separate parts, but this one really worked for me. The story was paced well throughout the six books, each part was satisfying to read and left me wanting more. I would definitely read more from these two authors as I enjoyed this steamy series a lot.
Aleena moved to New York from Iowa determined to make a life for herself. So far it's not going totally to plan though - her roommate is a complete bitch and her boss is a creep. Things start to look up for her when she meets Dominic - although it doesn't start off well when he accidentally gets her fired from her waitressing job! She eventually lands a dream job working for dishy Dominic and she soon starts to fall for the temperamental billionaire. Dominic thinks Aleena is far too good and innocent for him though - he has a dark, tragic past and doesn't do normal relationships. He only has quick flings with submissives who know the score - he can't offer anything more than sex. But he can't deny the strong connection between him and his employee and things start to heat up between this sexy pair.
Dominic is a fascinating character who had me intrigued right from the start. When we begin to learn about his past it becomes clear why he is as controlling as he is, and my heart really broke for him. Aleena seems to be the perfect match for him, but their journey is not an easy one as there are lots of speed bumps in their path. As well as the romantic storyline, I really enjoyed the sub-plot about Dominic's adoption as it added an extra element to the story. Serving Him is a great series that I'd definitely recommend. All six books were impossible to put down so they all receive five stars.
I received copies of these books in exchange for a honest review.
I was really excited when I found out that Cassie Wild and M.S. Parker had decided to co-author the Serving Him series and I have to say this first book definitely did not disappoint.
This book introduces us to Aleena Davison who is a 21 year old, recently relocated from Iowa to New York, much like most who are just starting out in the city she has to work incredibly hard to barely make ends meet, she has the typical horrible boss, and absolutely horrid roommate, however she does have an amazing best friend. Aleena does find herself in a precarious situation though when she meets the incredibly handsome Dominic Snow, not only does he try attempt to play hero and make her current situation better, but she finds herself with an offer she cannot possibly refuse.
The story line that these two amazing ladies have created is just absolutely stunning. I mean there are connections on so many levels with Dominic and Fawna, Aleena and Molly. There is definitely more than meets the eye to this story I have a feeling these ladies are going to throw some major twists and turns at us and take us for a major roller coaster ride as readers but one that we will not be able to put down.
I loved this first installment it simply flowed I found myself drawn to every word like a moth to flame I love Aleena's character I am drawn to her innocence but she isn't quite as innocent as she first appears you get a little hint of something else. The characters have such incredible depth to them and it just makes you want the story to continue and not end!
On Aleena's 21st birthday she wasn't planning on waiting tables at New York's priciest restaurants. Living in a big city nothing has turned out like she hoped. She is tired of not fitting in and not belonging. While working she was hit in the face by a costumer and she dropped plates. Her boss Gary wasn't happy after a costumer said that it was his fault and payed for the plates so she wouldn't get fired. But she ended up getting fired anyways. She started to freak out when she couldn't find her necklace that her grandmother gave her before she passed away. Aleena is 21, she moved to New York City from a small town in Iowa 6 months ago. She preferred the city. Her mother died when she was eight years old. She has her associates degree in office administration. Molly is Aleena's only friend in New York, she is three years older then Aleena and she always flirts with her. Gary is a grabber, Aleena's boss, in his mid thirties. Dominic Snow found Aleena's necklace, he is a dominate and told Aleena about a place doing open interviews. Adopted. Fawna is Dominic's personal assistant, she is retiring, she has always been there for Dominic. Was his 6th grade English Teacher. She thinks that Aleena is going to be perfect to fit the role as his personal assistant. M.S. Parker does it again, this book is an amazing read and it is a fast read. It's a very well written story and the characters were very well developed. This is one book that I know I will be able to read again. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
WOW This series is FANTASTIC!!!! Totally rocks!! It’s hot but sweet. It’s got strong characters but they are also fiercely independent. It’s got so much heart but its also very erotic. Did I say it’s hot? Cause it’s HOT!!!
During this series you will follow Aleena Davison through her early adulthood. She will find herself, learn about herself and become truly comfortable in her own skin. You see, Aleena is half black and half white. What she doesn’t see is that she has a value and a strength that will be tested and never broken. She also doesn’t see the sexual fire she has. She’s never had too. She’s only had one lover and that was a terrible experience.
Dominic has major issues, probably more than Aleena and definitely deeper. He doesn’t do relationships, he is a certified workaholic and has serious issues with the way he was brought up. He’s rich, always has been, and because of his “social status” he has a lot of pressure to meet certain expectations. These are not expectations that Aleena can fulfill because she doesn’t have the cold heart it takes to live in his world.
Can Aleena be enough for Dom? Can Dom finally give his whole self to her? Will Aleena be able to stand up for herself and become the woman she was always meant to be?
OMG! Go 1click all these books RIGHT NOW!!!! Amazing!!! M.S. Parker is amazing and I’ve read most of her books so I can tell you….she genius!!! But this might be one of my favorites. I was seriously sad when it ended!!!
