As Riley and Jake begin to compare notes, they uncover a connection between the cattle, the disappearance of a snowmobiler, and an old regional legend of the Blackfeet Nation. The entity stalking the ranch has been feeding for generations, preying on isolation, fear, and unresolved trauma.
As the attacks escalate and the boundaries between psychological and supernatural horror blur, Riley must confront what truly happened during the camping trip and decide whether she is haunted by a manifestation of trauma or an ancient force that demands a reckoning.
If she's wrong, she won't survive a second encounter.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for allowing me to read the ARC of The Things that Haunt You. The following is my honest review.
This was a unique horror that gripped me very early on and compelled me to the very end. The MFC, Riley, is courageous and resolute; I absolutely loved her character. There is a reason she draws the hearts of the men around her despite the physical flaws you’ll find out about while reading. I liked many of the characters in this book. I thought the author did a great job of giving you a thorough enough window into each so the reader can form a connection despite the length of the story. The horror aspect of this book was CHILLING…pun intended! I have never been so thankful to reside in the hot, humid south as when I was reading this book, haha! I highly recommend this book!

I was shocked how hooked I was within the first 20 pages of the book. I don't normally read this type of horror and I'm really glad I liked it so much. Even with the multiple characters theres still so much background information packed in.
