Surreal, intellectual, action-packed, and funny too! SHARED SENTIENCE is Philip K. Dick meets William Gibson.
This is smart, ambitious science fiction that delivers big ideas without sacrificing pace or entertainment. The partnership between the detective, Jay, and the A.I. living in his head, Tee, is equal parts buddy cop, philosophical thought experiment, and emotional journey. The sci-fi worldbuilding is imaginative, the action scenes are compelling, and there is a thread of humor that keeps everything grounded even as the story explores questions of identity, consciousness, and what it truly means to be human.
If you enjoy thought-provoking sci-fi, SHARED SENTIENCE is well worth the ride. I am looking forward to seeing where these characters go in book 2!
