Obviously AI with plot holes, inconsistencies and glaring mistakes. eg. 1. The H sent the head of the palace staff to the h with a gift to apologize for missing their anniversary tea. The h refused to take it. Later, she had it in her pocket. 2. The apology gift was a diamond bracelet. Later, it became a diamond ring. 3. The h went to the council chambers to give the H divorce papers and her wedding band. Later, when she was remembering it, it happened in his private study. 4. When the H was changing his clothes, he put on a pair of jeans. Then, he sat down and removed his dress shoes. DNF

This wasn’t so bad (which is surprising bc I dnf’d this author plenty of times) but it’s a 2.5 star read bc it’s roboty with the vocabulary/language used. The story had potential though and that’s what kept me in it (plus I love royal stuff e.g., The Crown). I would’ve liked for the ow drama to be more drawn out. I did find it funny that the fmc smell equated to dirt. The grovel was nice!
This was actually one of the better books this author has written. Her books are hit or miss with me. Henrik messed up bad enough that Natalie walked away & did much to earn back her love and trust. It was a story of love lost & found once again.
Royal responsibilities push Henrik to ignore his wife and put forward another woman in her place. Natalie decides to leave. The story just was long and drawn out.
