Rate this book
From the father-son investigative team behind the popular true crime website, Kidnapping, Murder & Mayhem, comes the Killers Among Us series.

Drawing on years of research from our historical archive of real-life cases dating back to 2008, this volume contains twelve brand new standalone murder investigations. Because this is just one book in an extensive series, you can read these volumes in any order.

Inside this

• Kidnapped by a Monster — A sunny spring lunch break in Miami turned into a waking nightmare when a brutal predator carjacked a production supervisor, holding her captive on a terrifying 50-mile journey into the Florida Keys.

• The Girl Who Vanished — A seven-year-old girl vanished from her mother's bed in the middle of the night, sparking a massive manhunt that led straight to a local crab fisherman with a dark, hidden past.

• Firebombing Mr. Yamamoto — A relentless stalker targeted his former girlfriend's apartment in a midnight attack, throwing a fiery explosive that tore through the building and claimed the life of an innocent student sleeping upstairs.

• The Midnight Stranger — A 2:30 a.m. plea for help turns a quiet Charlotte home into a trap when a predator uses a neighbor’s identity to trick his way inside, forcing two roommates into a brutal fight for survival.

Plus 8 more murder investigations involving serial killers, calculated predators, senseless violence, and shocking revelations.

Well written until case 5. Then turns to really weird

Enjoyed book until case 5. Then the book falls off a cliff of crappy editing, bad storytelling, and useless info. Still trying to figure the relevance of last paragraph book 5.
