The book of Revelation should be of intense interest to today’s Christian. It describes not only the persecution that originates from Satan, but also announces the day when God will intervene and cleanse the earth. This is definitely something to look forward to if we are right with him. Not so much for those living for themselves.
Sadly, many commentaries on Revelation ignore the need to have a clean heart in order to survive what’s coming. In this edition, we dig deep into the signs, the wonders, and the genuine Christian’s role in the soon-to-be-fulfilled book of Revelation. We even go back to the prophets to help clarify what is the most important message to Christians today.
Russell Stendal, a former hostage of Colombian rebels, is a lifelong missionary to that same group in the jungles of Colombia. He is an influential friend to military and government leaders in Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, and the United States. Russell's ministry shares the gospel via twelve radio stations, hundreds of thousands of Bibles, books, and movies distributed through airplane parachute drops, and numerous speaking engagements for groups of leaders, prisoners, and individuals. Russell goes wherever the Lord leads, whether it's to speak with a president or to go deep into the jungle to help an individual in trouble. He has witnessed thousands commit their lives to Christ.
A expounding of The Book of Revelations, this is a section by section expansion of this book of the Bible often verse by verse of a book that has puzzled Christians through the centuries and it may not the in to your understanding but if no one listens to other takes we will never learn and be open to the mystery of Christ. As GOOD has never told any individual the whole story or revelation then w ignore other points of interpretation to our own ignorance. Well that's what i think and believe so what ever background you have I found this helpful and at times insightful. I do recommend it.
The second star is for the introduction. It is a beautiful story of a very young boy's conversuion and growth in understanding. Contains some wonderful answers to prayer by the young Russell.
The rest of the book exists because RMS failed to understand Acts 1:7. (it is not for you to know) and so he joins the thousands of opinions over 2000 years. No one has guessed it right yet and this seems a dreadful waste of time as Jesus' wants us focused on Acts 1:8
Mr. Stendal gives an interesting interpretation of Revelation. Although he is not dispensational, he apparently agrees with John Hagee's "blood moons" idea.
"...2017 will be the 70th Jubilee. I expect that it will be a very special year. The fact that we are currently in the midst of four blood moons alternating between Passover and Tabernacles, with the fourth to occur on September 28, 2015, is also very significant. The fall season of 2015 will be the beginning of the 49th year since 1967. The Jewish New Year is on the first day of the seventh month. In this case it is on September 13, which is the New Moon. Four blood moons means that heavenly judgment is about to commence upon the religious realm of Israel and the church."

Very informative and eye opening ,or should I say heart opening !
Helped me to understand Revelations . It gave me a deeper understanding . I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a better understanding of Revelations.
All I can say is wow. This is the most informative book on the bible I have ever read. The author's explanations are understandable and make sense. I learned a lot.
I'm reading the book for the second time. There is so much, that my mind can't contain it all. The Spirit of God accompanies this book. I am grateful for the confirmation of truth. My spirit is lifed up to the heavenly realm. I wish I could always dwell there, but my feet are planted on the earth. I pray that the spirit that accompanies this book (The Spirit of God. The Spirit of Truth) will remain with me as I read and study more of the things I am just beginning to understand--again. I know that sounds strange, but as someone who fights memory loss, I find joy again and again in the truth I recognize as God's Truth.
The explanations and many cross-references to other scriptural verses confirmed what the book of Revelation seeks to explain about the end .
I would recommend this book to those who desire to understand the word of God and what his plans are for those who remain faithful. Likewise the destruction of the rebellious ones.
The book offers another perspective to the interpretation to the book of Revelation However more supporting precepts (belief) would be greatly helpful in understanding and accepting of the authors' perspective.
