“The Last Stay” by A. F. Khaan was an intense, dark, and unsettling thriller that had me hooked from the very beginning. The twists kept me guessing, and I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy suspenseful thrillers with an eerie atmosphere and plenty of surprises, this is one to pick up.

A thriller set at a luxury resort on a remote island is one of my favorite settings, so this book immediately caught my attention.
The mystery and suspense kept me engaged, with enough uncertainty to keep me questioning everyone’s motives. My favourite part was the twist. I didn’t see it coming at all, and I always appreciate a thriller that can still surprise me. It felt earned rather than relying on shock value alone.
I also thought the pacing was solid for most of the book. It wasn’t one of those thrillers that had me unable to put it down, but it held my attention throughout and I never found myself getting bored. I did wish I’d connected more with the characters, though. A little more character development would have made the emotional moments hit harder. The climax also felt longer than it needed to be. The final confrontation seemed to go on and on, which took some of the momentum out of what should have been the most intense part of the story.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. The isolated setting, engaging mystery, and genuinely surprising twist made it a great read.
If you like trapped-on-an-island stories, and unexpected twists, then you will enjoy this book!

This is a super engaging and exciting thriller story!! I read it very quickly as it completely sucked me in!
It’s full of mystery, suspense and twists!!

Natalie and her boyfriend, Ryan, have decided to take an exclusive vacation to a private island in the Bahamas. When they arrive they can’t believe how amazing everything is; from the crystal blue waters, to the amazing food, and kind staff. However, this happy and relaxing vacation didn’t last for long. Shortly after arriving, one of the guests goes missing and it seems to spiral downhill from that point on! This was not the romantic vacation this couple had planned on.

I read this book in one sitting, because I couldn’t stop reading and I needed answers! The storyline is suspenseful, thrilling, and twisty! There are several parts of the story that I sure didn’t expect!
It’s a well written story and I’m excited to pick up my next read from this author!

I absolutely loved this book! ❤️ This has become my favorite book by A.F. Khaan so far. I was completely hooked from the very beginning, and honestly, I just couldn’t stop turning the pages. This was one of those books that made me stay up far later than I had planned because I simply didn’t want to stop reading.

The suspense kept me fully invested, and I really enjoyed seeing a standalone novel after the previous books in the series. It felt fresh and exciting. I’m so glad I had the chance to read it, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. 🤩

This story had so much potential. It was very poorly edited! It was actual hard to read because of the crap editing. There were sentences repeated and speech marks in the wrong places which made it hard to keep up with who was talking, the punctuation made it feel like it was a new person talking but it was the same one. What the hell? Then the ending was rushed.

Such a fun, quick read! This fast-paced thriller about a couple on vacation was the perfect book to read while I was on vacation myself. 😂 It kept me interested from beginning to end, and I loved how easy it was to get through. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick thriller!
