Blind Bend

The Stately Elm is one of the finest arborists in the Northeast. Pruning damaged trees is what he does best. After attending Cranberry's wedding, however, he begins imagining a future that includes more than his work.

Fate has other plans.

Before he can figure out what that future looks like, two young boys, a determined artist, and a music student whose plans were uprooted by tragedy turn his carefully ordered world upside down. Suddenly, The Stately Elm discovers that growing a family takes a lot more patience than growing a forest.

Finding his happily ever after may be waiting just around the Blind Bend.

Wow, Just Wow!

I have read and reread the Technicians series (frequently) and each book just keeps getting better. The characters continue to be well developed, the story line rich and engaging and the pace is good. With Blind Bend, there are many great analogies between life and the growth and care of trees, as well as the technicians’ work being equal to that of an accountant “balancing the books”.

Lots of great stuff in this book; not just entertainment but considerable things to ponder about life, life decisions, the definition of family and love.

Looks like we have more “trees” coming is future books and as the series progresses, hopefully “storms” in the future too. Such great reading pleasure.

A Majestic Tree

This is a new direction or rather area for the Technician series. Stately Elm aka Christian is a man who knows who he is in all aspects of his life. He knows that sometimes " vermin " need to be eradicated. Wether it is trees or people. The tragedy that brings James & Joshua into his life is dealt with early on. The love of his life Tandy is a artist who is finding her way while loving this gentle man. Together they will make a life for those that need emotional nourishment & love. The Elm handles business & his Tandy. I love it. Do come in & stay. Let them show you how truly loving life & those around you works.

Great read

This did not disappoint...I truly enjoyed the storyline...the build...the trust factor build...shows that the blood ties don't matter when you choose wisely ..the wedding brought home some truths...the wedding was great ..glad her selfish ass family didn't attend...they would definitely have been draining....the nerve of that mammy!!! The way the boys were handled was excellent...Mann and his family were an added pleasure...the extra visit after the wedding was fun...the buying of the extra space the furniture purchases...the way it all came together....simply amazing...#next

Blind Bend, an excellent read!

This Technician book is chocked full of family drama, recently found brothers solidifying their brotherhood and becoming a certified family unit that includes found family that fit seamlessly together inspiring other Technicians to seek their own brand of family. It appears that the wedding of The Cranberry and The Mustang, opened up a world for other Technicians to find peace and family to counteract the dark loneliness associated with their covert government jobs. I enjoyed reading the story of The Stately Elm and how he found the perfect family that makes him whole!
