Warren Ellis has recently developed and curated the revival of the Wildstorm creative library for DC Entertainment with the series THE WILD STORM, and is currently working on the serialising of new graphic novel works TREES: THREE FATES and INJECTION at Image Comics, and the serialised graphic novel THE BATMAN’S GRAVE for DC Comics, while working as a Consulting Producer on another television series.
A documentary about his work, CAPTURED GHOSTS, was released in 2012.
Recognitions include the NUIG Literary and Debating Society’s President’s Medal for service to freedom of speech, the EAGLE AWARDS Roll Of Honour for lifetime achievement in the field of comics & graphic novels, the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire 2010, the Sidewise Award for Alternate History and the International Horror Guild Award for illustrated narrative. He is a Patron of Humanists UK. He holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Essex.

No es que el cómic en sí esté mal, pero es que hay un límite al número de descipciones de posesiones, mutilaciones o torturas que soy capaz de leer, y aquí se superan ampliamente solo con la primera historia. Ellis se recrea en lo sórdido, a veces como excusa para no desarrollar una historia. Se ve su toque, pero está demasiado cubierto de vísceras para brillar.

Esta breve etapa de Ellis en el cómic del famoso mago inglés resulta muy interesante, principalmente por su primer arco (y el más largo de todo el tomo): "Atormentada"; en esta historia matan a una ex de Constantine, y él decide investigar como una necesidad de cerrar esa etapa. La historia tiene toda la crudeza y humor negro que caracteriza al personaje, pero también una gran sensibilidad y ternura que principalmente se refleja en el final.
El resto de las historias son cortas y están buenas; todas hacen referencia a sucesos reales que Ellis aprovecha para analizar y criticar, pero nunca logran superar ese hermoso primer arco.
En definitiva, otra obra de Warren Ellis muy recomendable.

Las historias de Ellis son, posiblemente, de las más oscuras de la serie. La maldad humana en su máxima expresión: la vida ya es miserable sin demonios sobrenaturales.
