Loved this book even more than the first one! Scarlette and Marcus are spicy hot, even if they don't want to admit it. A really great read full of passion and romance!

Cool story
I like a friends with benefits-turned-lovers story. Marcus and Scarlett's relationship evolved rather quickly, with not a lot of buildup between levels. They just went from two commitment-phobes to being head over heels. I thought the pacing could've been a little better, with that and overall. A couple of the side stories seemed underdeveloped or glossed over.
I've read a few other books from this author and loved them. This won't stop me from reading more from her.

Love in the air
I always enjoy reading Ms. Russ gems! I was already intrigued by Marcus and Scar characters and was not disappointed in their journey and how they found love and each other. This story is full of plot twist and beautiful Black love. Marcus will definitely join the group of book Bae worthy men.

Love sweet love
Marcus and Scarlet had me shaking my had and wondering when they were going to get past their love hate relationship. I was so glad when Love did take over . This story was not what I expected ( I thought it was going to pick up with the main characters from Book 1 of the series) however I was mot disappointed.

Lovers and friends
One night lead to more, causing Marcus and Scarlett to become lovers and friends. I enjoyed the growth of the characters as they explored new territory and how they naturally learned to love each other.

Wow! Such a great read! Marcus and Scarlette’s chemistry was amazing. I felt their love soaring from the pages. I liked the added suspense surrounding Scarlette’s past. Definitely will be reading more from this author.

I love Te'Russ work, both books didn't disappoint. I love the chemistry between Scar and Marcus two people avoiding relationship between needed it so bad. The love and attractions was on point.

Okay.. I liked it
Marcus and Scarlett's story was nice. It was not as fast-paced as the first story with Jaden and Valerie's story. The story bogged down a few times with unimportant matters. Or stuff that had no impact on the story. The slight mystery with the stalker guy was too lighthearted. Their connection was stronger in the beginning and waned as the story progressed. Just my opinion. The story was a solid 3.9 stars. I needed more from a couple of never to marry people who married one another

You'll enjoy this story as it involves from your standard friends with benefits. With the suspense of who was after Scarlett. One memorable moment was the slap by Evette. Not only that we see the support of Jaden and Valerie, as well as Viola. Good overall story.

I loved the characters , they were so in sync with one another. The ex lover and the parents I disliked intensely. I loved how the people came together to save the bar.

Marcus & Scarlett were funny, honest and just enjoyable! They bought a different flavor to the story. Neither were looking for love and were twisted up when it showed up. Very good Ms. Russ. Very good!
