I have been wanting to try zentangle for some time. I know I could probably pin a bunch of how tos on Pinterest or watch it on You tube, but I really wanted a book that I could hold and copy the ideas till they felt normal coming from my hand.
This is not the book. It was free so no loss, but it does not help at all. Showing a finished block and then writing three sentences about how you accomplish that does not help me.
If you are looking to read some back ground info about zentangle, then you should check this book out, but as a tool to learn the art, you want to pass.
Nice advice on drawing or doodling Zentangle. I liked the photos examples. This book is very good basic information for those interested in trying it out.
I've now gotten a vast collection of books on this subject & this book in comparison just doesn't do justice to zentangle
I think the author knows what she's talking about but condensed it into such a short version she left out some really great parts which other books include
