"Bloodstone and Love" is a gripping mafia romance that absolutely delivers, and if you're a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope, this one needs to go straight to the top of your reading list.
The story follows Summer, a cunning and sharp woman carrying some seriously dark secrets, and Theo, a police officer who falls for her before he knows the full picture. Their slow-burn connection starts with a chance meeting, leads to a date, and then takes a sharp turn when the truth comes out. What makes it so compelling is that Theo can't bring himself to act against her, even when he knows he should, and Summer? She always knows exactly what move to make. It's tense, it's layered, and it's packed with betrayal, guilt, love, and revenge.
The chemistry between the leads is electric. Their love-hate dynamic will keep you glued to the pages, and the writing style is sharp, engaging, and genuinely addictive. Fair warning though: it ends on a cliffhanger, and with another part on the way, you're going to find yourself desperate for what comes next.
If you're looking for a romance that's equal parts steamy and suspenseful, this is it. You're going to love it.

If you're looking for a fast moving, enjoyable, easy read with an authentic whirlwind new romance and realistic spice scenes Bloodstone & Love should be your next read.

Dual first person narratives with short chapters makes it quick to get through the story. If I wasn't so busy this week, I could have easily read this in one sitting.

For me personally, I struggle when location settings are too vague, so the use of generic terms like the city/capitol/gang stopped me being fully immersed in the world, but this didn't hinder my enjoyment.

Looking forward to book 2!

Many thanks to the Author for sending me this advance reader copy

Even though Mafia Romance isn't my every day choice for reading, I did enjoy this book. The dual point of view gives you great insight from both the main characters' perspective.
Its fast paced, with a little open door spice.
Summer is not your typical mafia queen, but growing towards it as the book progresses.
The characters are realistic - exactly as you would expect them to be, ruthless, violent, take no prisoners, with the cops being as corrupt as you could expect.
I am looking forward to seeing what happens between Summer and Theo in the next book

So much potential and great tropes! The story moves incredibly fast, which makes for a quick read but I personally struggled to emotionally connect with the MC’s. I would have loved a deeper dive into their backstories. With that being said I would love to thank the author for providing me with an e-arc copy. 🫶💕 #summer #theo #rubybloodstone #bloodstoneandlove #bookstagram
