As far as self help books go I thought this was a great book on how to improve your credit score and actually explaining the steps to improve your credit score, from which credit cards to pay off first to making sure you understand your significant other's financial issues Before you get married. Great book and very easy to read. She also has exercises in the book that you can do. I'm actually coming away with a couple of pages of notes to keep.

This author gives a very clear explanation of what credit is and how to keep it (or make it) work for you. It is an entertaining, uplifing, read; would recommend to anyone interested in creating a workable "spending plan" and getting their money on track.
