That Fire
Royal Henderson is living his life, enjoying his Henderson money, and working in the family business. He doesn’t feel like he wants anything more than that. He has a couple of degrees under his belt, which cement his future in the family business. He does his best to stay low-key like his father, Jasper Henderson. However, he loves the ladies. It’s not the secret that he thinks it is amongst the family, though. When one of his consistent conquests shows up at a family gathering, noticeably pregnant, things take a turn.
Aaliyah Anderson loves being free to do whatever she chooses to do, without judgment. She is financially set as the daughter of rodeo royalty, Red and Shana Anderson, but she also has her own career as a schoolteacher. When she realizes, after many conquests, that she is pregnant with twins, she remembers one person in particular who could have fathered her babies. Royal Henderson. She doesn’t tell him right away, because she is afraid of what his response will be. They’re simply having fun, no strings attached. She doesn’t want him to feel as if she’s trying to trap him.
When Royal sees her, he immediately feels that she is carrying his child. His desires for what co-parenting for them would look like seem to mirror hers. Passion and pain, humor and grief, trauma and healing. While reading this book we see these characters navigate through a minefield of emotions. It seems as though Monica Walters dug deeper into her author bag with this one because babbbbby Royal and Aaliyah are truly something special!
As with every Monica Walters masterpiece you are pulled in from page one, Royal is definitely his daddy’s son. He has that softness when needed and also has that Henderson blood so you know he can turn up real quick! I wasn't sure about Aaliyah because I hadn't witnessed too much involving her, but she confidently strutted her way onto my faves list. As their story progressed they made more and more sense. They are honestly perfect together especially in the bedroom…. Because wheeeew😮💨😏😝
I knew from previous books the “dynamics” of Royal and Aaliyah’s situation, but it's definitely a you-have-to-be-there-to-fully-understand situation 😆. However, trust me, when you get there, be ready for the good and the bad because it is a ride… literally. As with all books in this saga, we interact with many secondary characters. I always love time with the Hendersons and their friends because the entertainment is spot on every time. It seems that we are going from one emotion-filled book to another with the next book in line 🤦🏾♀️ my edges can't take much more! However, I know I'll be locked in regardless.

Royal and Aaliyah, We Like It Nasty Nasty
Royal and Aaliyah played nooooo games!!!…I loved them for each other and love the respect and appreciation they showed for each other!!!…
Royal and Aaliyah was nasty nasty with what they enjoyed and I was here for EVERY scene and interaction!!!…There was no place off limits for their type of carrying on!!!…
My heart smiled when Royal let her know that he could wait on her to heal, because he didn’t need another woman doing what he wanted from his woman!!!…
I was so happy that the paternity test was done over, because my heart broke for Aaliyah with all the questioning of who fathered her children!!!…
The last few chapters of this book had me an emotional mess and I couldn’t bounce back as easily as I thought!!!…I had to sit in it!!!…
Those scenes with Crew was breaking my heart, then when he was hospitalized, I broke!!!…To know someone treated and used him to that extreme is insane!!!…I can’t wait to see if those arrest happen by law of by Hendersons’!!!…
I love how this family is growing and growing with other family friends!!!…

That Fire
This was an interesting addition to the Henderson saga. Royal and Aaliyah were some certified freaks. Some of their scenes had me clutching my invisible pearls they were so explicit.
I was happy to see them get the paternity issue resolved in their favor and to also see them finally tell each other how they felt and what they wanted. These two were a perfect match as far as their sex drive and sexual freedom and it worked for them in their relationship. It was also nice to see them not be judged by their family for how sexually free they were. With the paternity issue, I was looking at Aaliyah a little sideways. She had me feeling like I was watching an old episode of Maury with the multiple possibilities. I do believe this satiation caused her to reevaluate how she moved a little.
Like every Henderson story, this one contained a few surprises and some revelations. I’m looking forward to the next installment because this family and all their drama keeps me intrigued to see what will happen next.

Take Me Thru There
These are the poster children for freak nasties..lol! They couldn't stay off one another if they tried, but they didn't even try. Royal got it honestly and took it up a notch. Aaliyah should've been quoting scripture cause I'ono where her nasty comes from. They had so much happening around them the entire pregnancy. Both deeply felt Royal was the father but the test said no. Glad all the encouragement and gut feelings made them keep going. Crew! Wow! Would I have ever thought, most definitely not. And then the aftermath! I just hope my Bae Jasper and Chas can heal. I love tjem and thrir spirits so much! The FBI caused so much disaster and hurt being deceitful. Glad the judge saw through it and awarded everyone handsomely and others what they deserved. Ace, lordt he's going to be something else as well. One, he's a Henderson. Two, his damn parents. I'll be awaiting that one too.

Book 30! THIRTY!! WOW!
Monica Walters, I don't know how you do it, but you keep them coming. I had a lot of laughs and a lot of Tears In This Book. Aaliyah and Royal are some freaks, and I love it. Lol! I wish Aaliyah had trusted her instincts about Lareesa and left that girl out of their situation.
I was so mad at Crew, and then I was sad for him. The whole situation hurt my heart. Jasper has always been my favorite, and for him to be hurting... that was just too much. I'm so happy Aaliyah and Royal got their HEA. Their babies were a blessing to them as well as Jasper and Chasity.
I'm so glad the FBI got what was coming to them. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I'm anxiously waiting for the next one. Hopefully, it's Kingsley and Treasure. She deserves so much happiness.

These younger Hendersons are replicas of their dads, and I loved that.
Concidering this next Gen of Henderson's has been hard to follow without a mapped family tree 😫.
Royal and Aaliyah's book 1, brought some closure to the Henderson wars that had taken over the series of late and focused more on the couple.
2, Jasper and Chasity had nothing on Royal! That boy was his daddy 5.0!
Kingsley and Treasure are next, and the author promises it will be an emotional Rollercoaster. Apple not falling too far from the tree, and all that considering this is Kenny's son and his daddy's book almost took me out emotionally.
I think this would be a great time to buddy read the parents book along with the kids' books. Just the seat of parallels.

Another amazing story! I laughed and I cried. Like always great from beginning to end. I happy they got their Happy Ending and Royal being the father which I knew he would. He is so much like his father Jasper and I love it! I’m happy Aaliyah got her man back and made sure he stayed satisfied. She took take care of home to a different level and stood on it! Oh my goodness when I say Nasty Ass Freaks.... These two took me through it😂😂😂😂😂 I felt like the DNA test were wrong , those Henderson genes are strong. Crew..... I didn't see that coming I just thought he was in his feelings it hurt my heart to find out he had mental health issues and and him dying I cried for a whole hour😪😪😪😪😪 . When PJ stepped out in the courtroom I was saying That's What I'm Talking About y'all are are going to get it now. The twins is exactly what they needed and when Jasper said he needed a blunt I knew he was back😍😍😍 Awesome Book

This was a wild ride for Aaliyah and Royal. Really liked how Royal and Aaliyah strengthened their connection and friendship when they had to put their activities on pause. Crew’s situation was really heavy and heartbreaking especially with how things were left with the family; Jasper, Chas, Ashanni, and Royal took it hard understandably. Glad PJ was able to come out of witness protection; Kema definitely had to handle Philly for keeping that from her. Looking forward to see what happens with Treasure and Kingsley, Ace and potentially Lauren, Kane, PJ and Ryder J.

Baby, I knew this was gonna be a read, and it was definitely a read. I laughed, cried and punched air at all that went on in the book. I don't know how I felt about them still sleeping with the 2 other females, But I'm gonna let it slide. Because they freaky, so I guess it couldn't be any other way. Love that the baby's panned out to be Royals. Because I was definitely hello worried. My girl was trying to just live her fun, freak, nasty life. And this shit threw her for a loop. But this was definitely a good read. I can't wait for Kingsley and treasure story.

I cried a lot
You did it again. But it making cry wasn’t in the plan. I just keep thinking why Crew’s death took I had to stop reading for a day just to get my mind set back. He was quiet in most of the other books but he was Henderson they don’t try they just get better. I love it. I was really happy when Royal and Aaliyah got it together and I was happy the babies were his. I loved the way you handled the government I hope they rot under the jail. I can’t say it enough I love your books I haven’t read one I didn’t love yet. I can’t wait for book 31. 💙💙💙

Royal and Aaliyah were definitely made for each other! ❤️ I thoroughly enjoyed their story. There were some shocking scenes that left me speechless, and I even shed a couple of tears. I won’t spoil anything for those who haven’t read it yet, but just know there are definitely some unexpected twists and surprises!

Big City anime
The drama was real life. This had me thinking you was writing about my family. We get down the same way. Royal and Aaliyah….I love their nastiness. I’m so happy they made it.
Now it broke my heart about Crew. I wanted him to come through and tell everyone what was going on. In a way he did. All three babies being born I know they gonna cut up…especially Rasha. I’m excited for the next book, I know this time I’m gonna need a glass of something and some tissue.

Monica Walters has done it again. Jasper and Chas's son ROYAL is a freak like his parents. When ALIYAH and Royal kept spending time together they ended up pregnant.
I started reading these 'scenes' I knew I was gonna have to repent. Aaliyah and Royal were young dumb and full of.... you get the picture. A botched DNA test , arrests by the FBI, issues with a little brother, and the birth of twins makes this Henderson book A+++ in my book.

This book absolutely had the perfect and correct title, "That Fire". It was fire, passion, raw, drama, both elements of fiction & non-fiction, grief, sorrow and just an emotional roller-coaster. I laughed, clutched my chest, cried, and celebrated love, even thougha life was lost and two gained.
Whew, it was a lot, but I'm glad that Royal and Aaliyah got what they both wanted. Now, let's kick Nikki and Laressa to the curb and out of their lives. They are not needed!

Omg!! This book had my emotions all over the place. Aaliyah and Royal was nasty lol. I'm sure when the next book drops she'll be pregnant again lol. I just loved how their relationship bloomed after they stopped fighting their feelings. Despite the barriers presented against them they beat all the odds. So glad to see the book had a happy ending after the waterworks about Crew. Monica keep doing your thing!! Can't wait to see what's next.

Whew baby this book brought the smoke
This book was absolutely fire!! It had me feeling all the feels with twists I never saw coming. Royal and Alliyah's love story? On another level entirely, and I'm here for it. The Henderson crew and their squad really set the bar when it comes to what real family and loyalty look like. Please keep churning these out—I'm totally hooked and not going anywhere.

This book took my breath away.
Royal and Aaliyah did not disappoint. They are definitely meant to be together. To say that I was sad is a understatement, I didn't see it coming. It's like a loss of a family member. I hope that the family would find some relief from these crazy situations. I know that they are up for this fight. I'm very happy for Royal and Aaliyah. As always, it was a pleasure reading your books. 🥰

Unbelievable
I did not like it that Crew died in this book. The Henderson's and their friends are like my extended family. I actually cried when Crew died. To find out that he was suffering and trying to cope with his illness by doing drugs was heartbreaking. You really messed me up with this one. Why couldn't he be brought back like PJ was? I feel so heartbroken.

I usually give all your books 5 stars, this time I could not. I was disappointed that these two love birds felt they needed an audience in the bedroom.
How do you profess a love for your man an still want you both to be entertained by 2 other women.

Those Darn Hendersons
As always Monica Walters is a Great Story Teller, Author. I am still in tears over Crew but I trust the process! I have grown to love those Crazy arse Hendersons like my own out of town cousins for real..Royal & Aaliyah were CRAZY but so good for each other! I can't wait for the next book..

Loved It
Aaliyah and Royal were both Nympho's and baby if you enjoy a great deal of sexual scenes then you will surely enjoy this installment! There was so Makynzie and down but the Henderson's remain strong and I love how they supported one another! Royal was on his grown man ish! You will experience some laughter,aged ad sadness! I look forward to the next installment!
