The Star Bundle
FOUR GREAT SCIENCE FICTION STORIES IN ONE BOOK!
First Assignment is the story of Ensign Ralph Baker as he begins life aboard the cruiser Columbiana and learns that no textbook could have prepared him for his first tour of duty.
Hostile Takeover is the sequel where Lieutenant Ralph Baker is reassigned, and becomes involved in lethal corporate intrugue while the love of his life faces trials of her own.
The Case of the Missing Litters is the story of Marshall Delano Smith, a private detective who must solve the case or lose his job.
One Tin Soldier is the sequel where Smith is hired as an undercover operative on Howlerville Station, and learns how propaganda leads to war.
While each story is set in a science fiction universe, the challenges faced by the main characters are the same faced by most beings, well, people.
