Aim for the Head
One kiss reignites a love that should have stayed buried. One betrayal starts a war neither woman can escape.
Sariah has spent the last sixteen months hunting the truth behind her father's murder and leading a crime family determined to survive. Remi became the face of the rival organization everyone believes pulled the trigger. They were once inseparable. Now they're supposed to hate each other.
When a peace meeting erupts into gunfire, Sariah and Remi discover they've both been played.
Forced to run together through a city where every street hides another enemy, the former lovers uncover a conspiracy that reaches far beyond a family feud. Corrupt cops, stolen money, shifting loyalties, and a ruthless betrayal leave them with one impossible trust each other again or lose everything they have left.
As bullets fly and old feelings refuse to stay buried, Sariah and Remi learn that the most dangerous shot isn't always the first one fired.
Sometimes survival means protecting the woman who once broke your heart.
Packed with explosive action, messy family drama, second-chance romance, unforgettable women, and page-turning suspense, Aim for the Head is a fast-paced urban crime romance where loyalty has a price and every decision could be the last.

About the author
Wynter Rose
79 books11 followersWynter Rose is an urban fiction author with a soft spot for messy love, loud family secrets, and women who know how to survive with their lip gloss still on. Her stories center complicated Black women, dangerous choices, loyalty tests, betrayal, romance, money pressure, and the kind of drama that starts in private but never stays there.
Outside of writing, Wynter is a lover of good food, glossy nails, late-night playlists, and conversations that start with “girl, you won’t believe this.” She enjoys people-watching, brunch with too much laughter, reality TV that gets entirely too chaotic, and collecting tiny details from everyday life that later find their way into her fiction.
Her books are for readers who love fast-moving drama, grown romance, secrets with receipts, and characters who love hard, mess up harder, and still find a way to stand in their truth.
