Denise is the most evil mother I've ever encountered in a book. Her vile actions caused her daughters & son nothing but pain & grief....She is the poster child for mental illness! Niki Jilvontae did a superb job with her writing by making me feel the girls torment & suffering. This book was well written with a captivating & devastating storyline that had my emotions all over the place.. Jerrod & Mrs. Cunningham were lifesavers to these kids. I'm hoping Denise's madness will soon be put to rest as I anxiously await to read part 2

My goodness! The horror thee girls went through at the hands of their mother was sickening! Just horrible! I felt sooooooooo bad for all 3 kids but the girls got the worst of it for sure. I don't understand why they didn't run away or seek help. Good book if you can stomach reading about gruesome rapes or beatings.

Omg let me start off by saying this was a very good book. This book was so emotional it took me there trust on on that. That mother was no mother she was the damn devil. I must commend her kids for sticking together no matter what. The life those kids had to live is a damn shame I know that mother had something wrong with her but got damn enough is enough. Now on to part 2. This book is a must read trust me on that

This book touched me in so many ways. I couldn't imagine going through what these poor girls went through all because of their mom. If people only knew the damage they did to their kids because of their own selfishness, the world would be much better.

Mother?😠

How could a mother be so Evil, Cruel and hateful to get babies!@😠
I guess that's what happens when you love drugs, sex and booze more than you love yourself or your children.
Mental illness is real and I wish Deniece would be gotten professional help rather than self medicating herself.
From rape, Mental and physical abuse as well as starvation this book had me in tears for those poor kids.
The system really failed them.
But will they find happiness in the end of will their MONSTER oops I mean their mother continue to make their lives hell?
Hopefully there's part two because this book kept me on the edge of my seat.

Yep I knew I remembered this book! I just needed a recap. Denise need her ass beat. I hope Jerrod OK. I doubt he would just up and leave Tisha. If I was Tisha I wouldn't care about Denise sitting there. If Mrs. Cunningham fall for Denise bs she need her ass kicked too. Tisha need to gone and break down and tell the truth and let Mrs. Cunningham know that hoe faking. She got her siblings there to witness for her and clearly Denise is too much of a pxxxy to show her ass in front of others!! Girl Niki I'm .38 hot here lol I can't wait for book 2!! Let's get it 😎😍😘😘

Wow, this book was just too much. No child should ever endure the turmoil these children endured. The signs were all there and not even the principal notice. When the children showed up to school their appearance should have caught the teachers attention. I gave 4 stars only because I felt the author could have written where someone had noticed things were not right with these children.

I'm currently reading book 4, within the same week or 2 , I finished books 1-3....Absolutely great read! I don't want to spoil it so I will just say, I could not put this book down! To think that somebody somewhere, some innocent child is probably experiencing this evil. Mental illness is real! All the evils in this book are real! A must read!

Sins of they mother

Fast paced read that keeps you turning the pages yet so much horrific pain these kids had to endure. This mother gives evil a new name. But the truth of the matter is many kids go this torture and still fall through cracks because parents manipulate the system.

Sad

Tisha, Sha, and Terricka have been through hell and back. They mother is the devil in disguise. She definitely puts on a show to get those checks every month though. I hate that they had to endure so much pain and agony. They have tried everything to get away from their mother and the system keeps failing them. It’s a shame.

Just sad

This story was just sad and depressing from the beginning. Drugs mixed with a sick soul is going to lead to disaster. This story broke my heart to see these babies at such a young age have their innocence ripped from them. To have Noone to turn too!!! There is a special place in hell for people like their mother

Just wow!

This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Denise (the mama) made me want to jump in the book and give her a taste of her own medicine. The things she put her children through are unthinkable. I wished Tisha and Terricka would've just spoken up. The little brother seems to be the only one with any sense. Can't wait to read part 2!

I don't know how people can mistreat anybody especially their own flesh and blood. This was a good read but I wanted to beat tf out of their mother myself. I can't say too much because I don't want to give too much away......READ THIS BOOK TODAY!

Excellent book. It certainty kept me mesmerized throughout my reading.

This book has a lot of suspense. However, there is a lot of drug usage, profanity and abuse. The abuse is sexual and physical beating.

This book is triggering, but every word was on point. Those girls had an awful upbringing and the consequences of their mother’s recklessness fell on them. Adults can leave abusive situations, but those girls were helpless and had nowhere to turn. No safe adult to protect them. I will continue this series to see what happens next.

I like it

It was a good book but it just took too long to get to the end. It literally drug out the drama. I felt sorry for the girls. I felt like it could have had a better punch line
