The Bookshop at the Edge of the Enchanted Forest: A Cozy Fantasy Novel About Found Family, Magic, and the Courage to Begin Again

Rate this book
A bookshop that appears only to those who need it most. A librarian who doesn't believe in magic. And a forest that has been waiting for someone to listen.

Elara hasn't had an easy life. After years of drifting from one dead-end town to another, she's given up on the idea of belonging anywhere. But when she stumbles upon a crumbling bookshop tucked into the roots of an enchanted forest, she discovers a place that feels like it's been waiting for her all along.

The Bookshop at the Edge of the Enchanted Forest isn't like other shops. Its shelves rearrange themselves at midnight. The books whisper to their readers. And the forest outside has a magic that seeps through the walls—a magic that Elara is only beginning to understand.

With the help of a grumpy but loyal cat, an eccentric baker with a gift for reading people, and a quiet carpenter who builds things that shouldn't be possible, Elara sets out to restore the bookshop to its former glory. But the deeper she digs into the shop's history, the more she realizes that the forest's magic is fading, and she may be the only one who can save it.

Perfect for fans of Legends & Lattes, The Spellshop, and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, this cozy fantasy novel will wrap around you like a warm blanket on a chilly evening.

Previous review said AI generated so I checked and it likely is. Super crappy Amazon. Not cool!

Nothing to write home about.

This book was ok, and it definitely could’ve been better. The premise is good but lacked depth. I found that the author was repetitive in descriptions and felt that was her way of making the story stretch. I am hoping book two will be more interesting and engaging

I REFUSE to read AI Slop. I bought it because I fell for the cover. I was outraged to find it was AI.

The book needed better editing. There were inconsistencies in the narrative.
