Bonded by Savages 5 stars
This book picks up from the previous series, with preparations for war against the human queen. The atmosphere is bleak and sad, and I doubted our Aurelian triads would have their own hea, but I was wrong. Everything worked out after heartaches. This book made me more sympathetic to the War-God's cause than the human queen.
Bonded Queen 5 stars
This war has me on high alert. Though the second in the series, the intensity of the war with Queen Jasmine is palpable. I've followed this universe from the start, becoming immersed in it. Now I see the fanatics, living up to their name, but someone redeems them—fated mates. The Aurelians' search for their mates drives them, but at what cost?
The author created a universe where nothing is black and white.
Broken Triad 5 stars
So sad. I felt the despair, hopelessness, and grief. I'm glad they found a way to have the family they want, loving someone who loves them, even if she's not their fated mate.
Now, they run from the Aurelian empire, fanatics because of their actions. But the women give them hope. In this war, knowing both sides, I wonder how it will end for the Aurelians and their mates.
Captive of the Royal Triad 5 stars
We see the war from Queen Jasmine's side. These Aurelians were the first we loved until we learned of the Old Ways, who earned our sympathy.
I'm uncomfortable with the brutal war on both sides, worsened by loathsome intruders. Like in movies, we await how far it will go.
We finally meet the Queen's sons.
Crown Prince's Mate 5 stars
It's been a wonderful journey with the Aurelians and their mates. I'm glad the war ended and everything was resolved.

Wonderfully addictive collection…
This complete five-book collection of The Old Ways is a great way to experience the old ways perspective of Obsidian and the fanatic’s within the Aurelian Empire. Unexplainable phenomenon seem to foretell something big on the horizon. The battle for the Aurelian Empire escalates as Obsidian and Queen Jasmine become more desperate, both willing to go to disturbing lengths to win the war. The fate of the universe is in their hands. You should anticipate a few sleepless nights because once you start reading you won’t want to stop…Enjoy! I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
