Will There Be...? #3

Will There Be Time?

Rate this book
Some moments deserve framing. Others demand living.

For readers of Emily Henry, Annabel Monaghan, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Carley Fortune — a second-chance love story about a night neither could forget, and a reunion neither saw coming. Book 3 of the Will There Be…? series.

Nine years ago, Vivienne and Oliver met on the Eurostar to Paris. One charged train ride. One golden hour photoshoot. One indelible evening. Before sunrise, she slipped away, sealing the memory as a perfect, fleeting moment in time.

Now thirty-six and back in Paris for her brother Matt's wedding to his American fiancée Austen, Vivienne is handed a guest-room key to the apartment of Matt’s best man Cam, someone she's never met.

When Cam opens the door, the recognition is instant. His eyebrows — one white, one brown. Her eyes — one blue, one green. Two strangers who had spent nine years not forgetting the other’s face. Cam is Oliver Cameron. He lives in Paris now. And he has a girlfriend.

Six days. One apartment. One fiercely protective brother who can never know. One photograph long-hidden in a nightstand drawer, suddenly back in motion.

A dual-POV romance spanning London and Paris about finding the right person at the wrong time, the choice to stop running, and the sisters—by marriage or by chance—who catch you when you do.

Will There Be Time? is the third novel in the Will There Be…? series — a universe of voice-driven, upmarket, interconnected novels set across Europe's most storied cities. Preceded by Will There Be Wine? and Will There Be Love?, each can be read as a standalone.

Will There Be Time? by Whitney Cubbison. Thanks to the author for the gifted copy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vivienne and Oliver met nine years on a train to Paris and had a special evening. Now, Vivienne is back in Paris and meets Oliver again… this time he’s known as Cam.. Cam with a girlfriend.

Any book in the Will There Be.. series can be read as a standalone. They are interconnected stories, but all can completely stand on their own. Like the ones before, Time has a lot of heart and warmth. It’s never just romance, as there’s humor and a love of travel and the setting included as well. I loved the feel for France in this one, which adds to the romantic feel. Definitely perfect read for an evening with class of rich red wine.

“Every person has multiple faces - cute, sexy, playful, serious, sad, angry - and each told a story.”

Read if you like:
-European or French settings
-Second chance romance
-Dual point of views
-Past Will There Be books
Will There Be Time comes out 10/13.

I received an advance reader copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve now read every book in Cubbison’s Will There Be series and this third book doesn’t disappoint!

After Will There Be Wine? and Will There Be Love?, Will There Be Time? explores love in a compelling new way. It kicks off with two strangers on a train being intensely attracted to each other. I was all in (I am a middle-aged married woman, so happy to live vicariously through these characters!).

The tension between the novel’s two complex protagonists, Vivienne and Oliver, is so well-written it’s off the scale and I was rooting for them from the start. Kiss already! (You’ll have to read it to find out if or when they do!!)

I was happy to be reunited with characters from the previous books. It’s nice to see them as secondary characters and it’s fun to see where in the overall timeline this story happens in relation to the previous two books knowing what we do.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the complexities and nuances of romantic relationships. You don’t need to have read the previous books to know what’s happening in this one, but why on earth wouldn’t you?

I received an advance reader copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was a warm, engaging read filled with great characters, humour, chemistry, plenty of heart and those wonderful chance encounters that keep you turning the pages. As a New Zealander, I particularly appreciated the Kiwi flavour woven into the story—the understated humour and straightforward nature of the characters made them feel genuine and likeable.

As an avid traveller, I loved the little nuances and details of Paris throughout the story. They transported me back there, making it easy to picture myself walking the streets and experiencing the places alongside the characters.

A lovely contemporary romance with a strong sense of place and culture, and characters you quickly become invested in. Definitely worth a read.

Will There Be Time is a beautiful heartfelt read! This is the third book in the Will There Be series, but each book can easily be enjoyed as a standalone.
I absolutely loved the dual POV, which added so much depth and emotion to the story. It's one of those books that makes you reflect on life, love, and just how precious our time really is.
Highly recommend.

Thank you to Whitney Cubbison for providing me with an advanced eBook copy of the newest book in the series. This review reflects my own thoughts and opinions and was not influenced by receiving a complimentary copy.

This is the third book in the series, but it can easily be read as a standalone. There are some connections between the characters from the other books, but nothing that makes you feel like you’re missing an important part of the story. That said, if you’re interested in reading the entire series, I would suggest starting with the first book.

Vivienne lives in London and regularly takes the train to Paris to visit her grandparents. On one of those trips, she meets Oliver. He’s charming, confident and clearly a flirt, which is exactly the type of man Vivienne has no interest in getting involved with. Despite her better judgment, though, there’s something about Oliver that she can’t quite resist. From the beginning, there’s a definite push-pull attraction between them.

On a whim, she decides to take a chance and offers to get together with Oliver the next day for a photo shoot and a tour. It’s a decision that brings them closer, at least briefly, and the undeniable chemistry between them becomes difficult to ignore. Vivienne, however, isn’t ready to let herself go there and quickly shuts down the possibility of anything more.

Vivienne has no interest in a relationship. After being cheated on by her ex, she’s become jaded about love and is much more comfortable keeping things casual. Even then, she’s selective about who she gets involved with, usually choosing someone who is a friend of a friend so she feels safe. Her own experiences, along with watching the struggles in her parents’ relationship, have left her questioning whether lasting love is something she even believes in anymore.

This was an enjoyable romance that delivered the “feels” I look for when I pick up this type of book. There are definitely some predictable moments, but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the story. It’s fun, easy to get caught up in and the kind of book you can happily lose yourself in for a day or two. Once I got into Vivienne and Oliver’s story, I wanted to keep reading to see where their relationship would go.

I also really enjoyed the French setting and reading about the different locations throughout the story. It added another layer of charm to the book and definitely made me want to pack my bags and spend some time travelling through France. A romance with a beautiful French backdrop is always going to be hard for me to resist.

A beautiful, heartfelt second-chance romance that reminds us that sometimes love isn't about finding the right person, but finding them at the right time.

Will There Be Time? is a charming and emotionally engaging story about missed opportunities, unforgettable connections, and the possibility that fate might just give us another chance at love.

Nine years ago, Vivienne and Oliver shared an unforgettable encounter on a train to Paris, followed by one magical evening together. Their connection was undeniable, but Vivienne walked away, leaving behind a beautiful memory and a lifetime of what-ifs. Fast-forward nine years, and fate brings them together again under the most unexpected circumstances. Only now, Oliver is known as Cam, he's her brother's best friend, and he has a girlfriend. Talk about complicated!

What I loved most about this story was the emotional depth behind the romance. Vivienne and Oliver's relationship isn't simply about rekindling an old flame. It's about vulnerability, missed chances, personal growth, and finding the courage to pursue happiness even when life doesn't make it easy. The chemistry, longing, and unresolved feelings between them make their story especially compelling.

And can we talk about Paris? Whitney Cubbison captures the beauty and romance of the city so wonderfully that I felt transported to its charming streets and cafés. The setting adds another layer of magic to an already captivating story.

I also appreciated the importance of friendship, family, and the relationships that help shape who we become. The witty dialogue, relatable characters, and emotional moments create a wonderful balance of humor, romance, and heartfelt reflection.

What stayed with me most was the message that love doesn't always arrive when we're ready for it. Sometimes we have to grow, make mistakes, and discover what truly matters before we can recognize what's been missing all along.

If you love second-chance romances, forced proximity, undeniable chemistry, beautiful European settings, and stories filled with emotion and hope, this one deserves a place on your reading list.

A lovely reminder that some connections are simply too meaningful for time to erase. ❤️

Tropes: Second-Chance Romance • Right Person, Wrong Time • Forced Proximity • Brother's Best Friend • Fate & Serendipity • Dual POV

Whitney Cubbison has done it again!

I was lucky enough to read an early copy of Will There Be Time?, and it completely swept me away. Not only is it my favourite book in the Will There Be... series, it may be my favourite Whitney Cubbison novel yet.

What starts as a chance meeting on a Eurostar train becomes a story that spans years, continents, heartbreak, family, loss, timing, and second chances. Vivienne and Oliver are unforgettable characters, and their chemistry is apparent from the moment they meet. But what makes this book special is that it's about so much more than romance.

The novel explores the ways we protect ourselves, the risks we take when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, and the complicated relationship we all have with time. The family relationships are beautifully written, particularly Vivienne's bond with her grandparents and brother, and there were several moments that made me laugh out loud and several others that left me unexpectedly emotional.

Whitney has a gift for creating characters who feel quite real. I found myself completely invested in their lives and genuinely didn't want the story to end. Just as she did with Rome & Ibiza in her last book, Paris and London come alive on the page, and the photography theme woven throughout the novel adds an extra layer of beauty and meaning to the story.

Most of all, this book made me laugh, it made me smile, and more than once it brought tears to my eyes. The themes of time, missed opportunities, family, and finding your way back to the people who matter most are handled with warmth, wisdom, and emotional honesty.

Romantic, funny, deeply moving, and impossible to put down, Will There Be Time? is a great addition to the series and a story that stayed with me long after turning the final page.

If you've loved the previous books in the series, Will There Be Time? is a wonderful continuation but with more scope and timetables. And if you're new to Cubbison's work, this is a beautiful reminder that the best love stories are never just about romance. They're about family, forgiveness, growth, timing, and finding the courage to trust when it matters most.

I absolutely loved it.

A beautiful, charming story that reminds us about the value of the most precious commodity - time!

Will There Be Time? Is the newest addition to the 'Will There Be...?' series by Whitney Cubbison!

Synopsis –

Vivienne and Oliver met 9 years ago on a Eurostar train from London to Paris. Their evening together, complete with a golden-hour photoshoot, became one of the best times of their lives. Now 36, Vivienne is back in Paris for her brother Matt’s wedding and has to share a flat with his best friend Cam. But when she opens the door, she’s hit with recognition - Cam is Oliver Cameron! Will a week together during the wedding festivities change the course of their lives once again?

Review -

The dual POV works really well, allowing us to get to know both protagonists in depth. Whitney’s richly drawn characters adds heft to a romance kindled by instant, intense chemistry. I loved that Vivienne and Oliver were uniquely matched in their unusual, rare facial features.

The writing captures the spectrum of emotions the protagonists experience whenever they meet. Their fleeting night together sets the stage for a deep, meaningful second chance romance that unfolds over the years.

I loved the book universe Whitney has created across these 3 books. Meeting familiar characters from previous novels is such a feel-good factor! With Matt and Austen as the wedding couple, the 6 days leading up to the festivities put Vivienne and Oliver’s emotions in turmoil. The tension and spark between them are palpable, testing them to their limits.

Female friendship is another lovely element, and I was glad Vivienne had her girl gang to lean on and draw strength from. Whitney’s research also shines through in Vivienne’s profession as a photographer.

I especially appreciated the ending - realistic, yet filled with swoon-worthy moments that had me cheering as this couple found their way back to each other.

Their reunion reminds us that time is finite and waits for no one. Sometimes, we need to stop waiting for the perfect moment and make the most of the time we have with our forever person.

This one was definitely better than the second book in the series (and I enjoyed all three!). I almost liked it more than the first because I liked Vivienne more than Austen. It can be read as a standalone, although there are appearances of characters from the other books. I really loved the chemistry with her and Oliver.

Oliver and Vivienne have an unforgettable day and night together in Paris only to reconnect nine years later at Vivienne's brother's wedding. Their sizzling attraction is still there. Only trouble is, Oliver has a girlfriend.

I liked the comparisons between them and magnets because that's definitely how it seemed. I loved their romance. The two main characters were a fit for each other. I was nervous about him having a girlfriend when they reconnected, but I liked how it was handled.

I think the only thing I missed were outside plots. (The bit with Vivienne 's grandmother were there, but I could have used more.) But that was tougher to do because it was set while they were traveling then during a wedding, so very isolated settings. This made it important for the chemistry to be there and carry the story snd it did! The wedding was definitely a nod to the past two books- Oliver and Vivienne weren't the closest to most of the party. I would have preferred them interacting with their friends. But the thing about sequels is you need that continuation and nod to the past characters for the fans, so I understood why they were the side characters rather than adding in new ones more centric to Vivienne or Oliver. People love seeing the happy ending through the next characters eyes!

Thank-you so much to Whitney Cubbison for sending me an e-copy of this. My review is unbiased and opinions my own. She also was kind enough to send me a print copy of Will There Be Wine? Which I thoroughly enjoyed reading in the past and am excited to own a hard copy of! I loved getting an appreciative note from her about being a reviewer for her since book one. You always hope for the best for authors when you read and enjoy their works and it's great to see this one on book three and still going strong.

- second chance romance
- right person, wrong time
- one night together
- forced proximity
- forbidden attraction
- paris setting
- found family

Nine years ago, Vivienne and Oliver had one unforgettable night on a train to Paris and thought that was the end of it. Fast-forward nine years and they meet again in Paris..because apparently the universe loves drama. Oliver is her brother’s best friend, has a girlfriend, and now they have to spend six days under the same roof with all those old feelings coming back.

I absolutely loved this one! The whole second-chance romance felt so natural, and I loved that Vivienne and Oliver never really stopped thinking about each other. Like…how are u even supposed to act normal after THAT kind of history? 😂

Their chemistry was honestly one of my favourite things. The tension, the stolen little moments, the banter and all those feelings they were trying so hard to ignore had me smiling like an idiot & the Paris setting made everything even better. It gave the whole story such a dreamy, warm and romantic vibe.

Vivienne was such a sweetheart, but Oliver?? Yeah, he completely stole my heart. 🤭 Watching them slowly realise that maybe running from their feelings wasn’t working anymore was honestly everything.

There was angst, emotional moments, romance and just enough drama to keep me invested. And that ending left me with the biggest smile. I genuinely wasn't ready to say goodbye to these two. Such a beautiful and comforting second chance romance, and honestly, I had way too much fun reading it.
Thanku Whitney Cubbison for the ARC!

💛💙 Will There Be Time? ARC Review 💙💛

Thank you so much to Whitney Cubbison for the opportunity to read and review this book!

Will There Be Time? is a standalone contemporary romance novel and the third book in the Will There Be...? series. Nine years ago, Vivienne had a chance meeting with a handsome stranger on a train. Now in Paris for her brother's wedding, Vivienne learns that this handsome stranger is his brother's best man. Will they be able to rekindle that spark from nine years ago? Or will they run out of time?

This was such a fun read! I really enjoyed Vivienne and her strength in this book. Oliver was a perfect match for her, but their relationship began as a series of missed connections and bad timing. I really enjoyed seeing both of them wait until the time was right even if it was painful. The world building was beautifully done and I really enjoyed the cameos from the characters in previous books
Overall this was a lovely five star read! I really enjoyed these characters and this book is my favorite in the series so far! This book does have some potential triggers so please check if you're sensitive. This story does have spicy moments throughout and lots of tension between the characters, so overall three flames for spice

If you're a fan of romance novels with engaging characters, beautiful world building and a vibrant story, then absolutely pick this one up! Though this can be read as a standalone, you'll get the most out of the story if you read the previous books in the series first.

"I'm an introvert. I recharge my batteries by being alone. This week is going to be a lot of people-ing for me."
What an excellent quote! I know so many of you reading this will be nodding and agreeing! 🙌💕

Will There Be Time is the third book in the series but can totally be read as a standalone. 📚 This has to be my favourite, although I've loved them all. ❤️ Whitney has a knack for picking you up off your sofa and gently placing you back down in the Parisian streets, with the aroma of coffee drifting from cafés ☕, fresh bread being baked somewhere behind closed doors 🥖 and posh Parisian ladies swanning along the pavements. 🇫🇷✨

I always enjoy it when we see glimpses of characters from previous books as they're woven into the current story. Austen (from the first book) and Matt are central to this one, as their wedding is the main theme of the story. 💒💍 Vivienne and Oliver are the love interests, though, and what a complicated story theirs is turning out to be! 👀❤️

"...I have no idea what a diadem is." She looked at him skeptically. "Harry Potter. Ravenclaw's Diadem? It was one of the seven Horcruxes." ⚡📖

I wanted to include this quote because the only reason I know what a diadem is is thanks to Harry Potter, so this made me smile. 😂🪄▕⃝⃤ 9¾ ∞ ϟ △⃒⃘ ⌁☍ ❾¾ ⚯͛

If you enjoy contemporary romance with a teeny amount of spice 🌶️💕, then I would recommend Whitney's books. I'm looking forward to seeing what's coming next! 🥰📚

Thank you to Whitney for the free copy of Will There Be Time. All thoughts are entirely my own. 📚💖

Whitney Cubbison has done it again! Will There Be Time is an absolute delight from start to finish - and a perfect book to cuddle up on your couch on a cold autumn night with a warm tea (or a glass of wine, bien sûr).

First off, while it functions wonderfully as a standalone novel—you can jump right in without feeling lost—having read Will There Be Wine? and Will There Be Love? makes it even sweeter. Reconnecting with beloved characters from the previous books felt like catching up with old friends, adding wonderful continuity to the story.

The heart of this book is, without a doubt, the romance. The love story is beautifully written, captivating, and full of genuine passion. You can truly feel that "love in the air" magic throughout, making it impossible not to root for the main characters.

As a fellow Parisian, I was also deeply impressed by how authentically the setting comes alive. Cubbison captures the locations, specific places, and unique Parisian atmospheres with such vivid detail that you can practically feel the ambiance of the city on every page.

Above everything else, what makes this book a 5-star read for me is its heart and soul: the beautiful portrayal of sisterhood. The themes of female friendship and the reminder that our girlfriends are truly "the family we choose" resonated so deeply and of which you just want to be a part of.

A romantic, atmospheric, and deeply uplifting read. Whether you're new to the series or a long-time fan, you will adore this book! Highly recommend!

A chance meeting on a train to Paris develops into an unforgettable day and night of flirting and passion for strangers, Vivienne and Oliver. But they live worlds apart, and so Vivienne steals away the next day without a goodbye. All Vivienne takes with her are the memories and the photographs she took of them in the waning sunlight.

Nine years later, Vivienne’s brother is getting married, and when she arrives in Paris again, she is shocked to see Oliver. In fact, he is her brother’s witness (best man). And while it's clear the passion between Vivienne and Oliver hasn't faded, Oliver is in a relationship.

This book nails the unscripted, unforced chemistry between two people who are meant to be together, but life seems to get in the way. I love the yearning and desire that was felt, as Oliver and Vivienne’s eyes always searched for one another across the room. And even after only one stolen day years ago, they remember the smallest details about each other. I had to know if these two would find a way to be together!

It's a beautiful, tender second-chance romance filled with supportive, fun friendships and the importance of family. It reminds you to treasure every moment.

The opening line “It's so people-y in here" is the best opening line!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading and watching the relationship unfold between Vivi and Oliver.

I loved the paragraph where Oliver asked if she was a witch because all he wanted to do on that initial train ride was touch her. He couldn't explain it. This reminded me of an interaction that happened to me with someome in my own life! 😉

I think one of the things I appreciated so much about Vivi is that her emotions and thoughts towards Oliver and just in general were complicated. That made her feel so real for me. It brought her character to life.

I loved the part of the book when Oliver and Vivi met again years later. I did not expect that at all! The speech that Peter gave at the wedding was fantastic! I won't give any spoilers but it was one of my favorite parts of the book. The speech Oliver gave at the end of the book was also another favorite! I absolutely adored this entire book!!

As always the writing was enjoyable and easy to read. I loved reading all of Whitney’s books! If you're in the mood for a great romcom that is a faster paced read this is definitiely one to add to your TBR!

OMG, I melted down several times! This was such a special book. A photographer from London and a wine-selling man from New Zealand meet on a train to Paris, where she wants to photograph him and their story begins. I was curious to see how this unexpected meeting would change things for both of them.

The special representation and the character development made this story stand out for me. I appreciated how these details were woven into the characters and their experiences without feeling forced. I don’t want to reveal too much because discovering these things along the way is part of what makes the book so special.

The ending was absolutely perfect, and I wish there had been more pages left to read. I wasn’t ready for their story to end, especially after becoming so invested in the characters. I finished the book feeling emotional, satisfied with the ending, and still wanting a little more time with them.

A chance meeting in Paris, one unforgettable evening, and nine years of wondering what might have been? Sign me up! I love a second-chance romance, especially when it comes with a little longing, a whole lot of tension, and two people who just can’t seem to forget each other.

Vivienne and Oliver’s story has all the ingredients I look for in a romance: a past that refuses to stay in the past, unexpected reunions, complicated circumstances, and the question of whether love can find its way back when the timing finally feels right. Add in the beautiful European settings and the dual POV, and this sounds like the perfect book to get lost in!

Five stars for a love story that reminds us that sometimes the moments we think are fleeting are the ones that stay with us forever.

Vivienne & Oliver meet on a Eurostar to Paris. They spend a few beautiful hours together and part after a one-night-stand with Vivienne heading back to London and Oliver heading back to New Zealand.

Nine years later, Vivienne heads to Paris for her brother's wedding. She's staying with his best friend Cam whom she has not met. But, when he opens the door, she realizes Cam is actually Oliver Cameron. And he has a girlfriend.

This is the third book in the Will There Be...? series, and I loved it just as much as the first two! Cubbison has a way of making a location a character. Her books always make me want to go wherever they are set!

I enjoyed seeing the characters from previous books. Little life updates from old friends! You don't have to read the previous books to be invested in the plot of this one...

But it can't hurt. 😉

Thank you to Whitney for having me on your ARC team! I love these mini escapes from the real world!

I received an advance copy of this book from the author.

I'm sure we all have that one person who showed up briefly in our life, who we wonder what would happen if we ever met again... this book gives us a glimpse of how it could go! What a fun story about two people who meet by chance, have an amazing connection but find the timing to be off, only to meet again years later when they find out they have friends and family in common.

You can't help but feel connected to the two main characters, Vivienne and Oliver, and all of the emotions and tension they experience as the story is woven through time. And the ending kept me on my toes for sure.

This is the third book I've read by Whitney Cubbison, and has been my favorite so far! Her writing just flows and is so easy to read. This one is a page turner and I highly recommend for a beach/vacation read!

It’s hard writing a series and consistently making it amazing - but not for Whitney! I just loved this book. It was the perfect blend of I need to finish this fast so I see what happens and I want to read this slowly so it lasts forever!

This is the third installment in the series and I hope there’s at least five more (can I make some suggestions?)! We’ve got a new set of characters you’ll swoon over, lots of moments with characters you loved in books one and two, and it all takes place in the city of light (and love) - Paris!

I loved Vivi and Cam (or Vivienne and Oliver). The tension between these two was palpable. It was so perfectly contrasted to the sweet love of Matt and Austen as they have a week of wedding celebrations leading up to the big day!

Am I gushing? I’m gushing because I loved this book and I love this series!

This is the third book of Whitney's that I've read and she continues to deliver delicious characters, witty dialogue, thoughtful relationship dynamics, and a quick-moving plot. Each time I read one of her books I feel immersed in the type of world that I actually want to live in--one with strong female characters, strong female friendships, and fun relationship dynamics. Once I started this one I didn't put it down until I finished--I had to know the answer to the age old question "will they or won't they?". Whitney's writing is always smart and entertaining, never corny, and I highly recommend reading this one (and her other two)!

I received an advance reader copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

An absolute delight to read and perfectly paired with a nice glass of red.

Will There Be Time is the story of Vivienne and Oliver. A chance encounter on a train to Paris, a lovely afternoon and evening spent together before they part ways. Nine years later is their second chance meeting. Only now, they must act like that night 9 years ago didn’t happen.

I loved revisiting characters from the other Will There Be… books. It’s like coming back to old friends. A story of found family, great banter, and made me feel fully immersed in European culture. Another great Will There Be… book. Many thanks to the author for my review copy!

Read if you enjoy romance, found family, friendship stories, and good banter.

I’ve read all three books in the series and loved them, but this was definitely my favorite. I loved it SO much! Any one of the three can be read as a standalone.

What happens when you meet the right person, but the timing isn't right? Vivienne and Oliver meet on the Eurostar from London to Paris. She's a photographer and wants to shoot his unique feature, so they plan to meet up the next day. They spend an unforgettable day and night together, but she sneaks off the next morning because it was just a fling even though it was incredible. She still thinks of him from time to time. Now, nine years later, her brother, Matt is getting married in Paris. Upon arriving in Paris to stay with her brother's best man, Cam, for the wedding, she is shocked to discover that Cam is actually Oliver. He lives in Paris now and has a girlfriend but he's never forgotten Vivienne and the night they had together. The timing just never seems to be right. As emotions run high is too late for Vivienne and Oliver? Or will there ever be a right time for them?

Did I mention I loved this book? I seriously loved it! Told in Vivienne and Oliver's POVs, it gave me all the feels and I even cried! There was a bit of spice and plenty of drama that kept me glued to the pages. I binged it in a day because I just couldn't put it down! Vivienne and Oliver's chemistry was off the charts! Both had unique features that I found very interesting. I loved the photography references, the wine, and all the settings. I recently read a book that turned me off Paris, but this one definitely made me want to go. And I absolutely adored Vivienne's grandparents! It was also nice to see returning characters, especially Austen and Matt. This book was a captivating, entertaining feel-good, heartwarming romance about friendship, love, family, and timing. I loved it so much and HIGHLY recommend it🩷

Will There Be Time is the third book in the Will There Be… series and Whitney’s best yet! It can be read as a stand alone but it is more fun to spot the characters from the other books as you read this one. Told from the alternating points of view of Vivienne and Oliver. I was hooked in immediately by their meeting on the Eurostar - the chemistry and tension between the two was electric! The dialogue and banter between the two was fantastic. I was cheering as they met and had their day in Paris and felt heartbroken for them both as they went their separate ways.

Nine years later when they met again got my hopes up as the two were forced to share an apartment. I loved to have Oliver’s girlfriend as I had my fingers crossed the two would get together. Once again Whitney builds the tensions and she really knows how to make a situation awkward! I love the way she explores different sorts of relationships in all their messy glory and ups and downs. I enjoyed both characters back stories and family dynamics. I particularly enjoyed Vivienne’s photography and Oliver’s kiwi background and wine (I am very partial to a NZ sav blanc and just had a trip there!)z. It was fun to travel back to both London and Paris, two cities I’ve spent a lot of time in (as well as on the Eurostar!) A sophisticated romance for fans of second chance and forced proximity tropes.

🥳 P U B D A Y book review 🥳 featuring “Will There Be Time?” by Whitney Cubbison!

Nine years ago, Vivienne and Oliver met on an Eurostar train on its way to Paris. At first Vivienne could not be bothered to make small talk with Oliver, however he was very intrigued by his seat mate. It did not take long for them both to realize the sparks between them and flirtatious banter.

A whirlwind afternoon and evening between them full of French wine, good food, a golden hour photoshoot and an electric one night stand quickly ended as they both went on their separate ways.

Nine years later, Vivienne is back in Paris for her brother Matt’s wedding. Matt has arranged for Vivienne to stay at his best friend Cam’s flat who has an available guest room. She is absolutely floored to see Oliver answer the door … his full name is Oliver Cameron … and his friends call him Cam. Vivienne is staying at his flat for a full week and Oliver has a serious girlfriend.

Will the two of them be able to resist temptation after all of these years? Will this reunion make them re-think everything? Will there be time for second chances?

💭 What a wonderful way to continue a series of interconnected stories! This book takes you away to discover Paris with vivid descriptions and beautiful atmospheric writing. There is so much raw emotion in this love story that is charming and heartwarming! I also really enjoyed how their jobs in photography and wine are intertwined and such an important part of their journey!

Thank you kindly to @whitneycubbisonwrites for my advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review! This book is out TODAY! Don’t forget to also check out Will There Be Wine and Will There Be Love!

Book Review
Will There Be Time?
A Novel Written By Whitney Cubbison
Fiction - Romance
Published October 2026
323 Pages
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the third book in the author’s Will There Be …? Series. All three books can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading them in order. All three books are so good! There is a crossover of characters in the books.

This book mainly takes place in Paris. Vivienne Richmond and Oliver Cameron have a chance meeting on the train from London to Paris. Vivienne is headed to Paris for a work assignment and to visit her grandparents who live there. Oliver is traveling to Paris from New Zealand for work.

Vivienne is guarded, sassy, and does not easily trust men. Oliver is charming and interested in her.

The two have an unforgettable day in Paris before Vivienne slips away.

Nine years later they meet again in Paris. Oliver now lives in Paris and has a girlfriend.

This is a well written book. The author’s writing brings her characters to life. I was immersed in the plot.

Do Vivienne and Oliver have a second chance at love or is this a right person wrong time situation? Their situation brings out feelings of sadness and hopefulness while reading.

“I’m so hoping that our stars are finally aligned.”

Will There Be Time?
Two strangers meet on a train ride from London to Paris and a delightfully sexy, funny and heartbreaking story begins.
Having read the first two books in the Will There Be…? series, I received an advance reader copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
From the moment I was introduced to Vivienne and Oliver I was hooked by their magnetic attraction.
What follows is a story about love and friendship and all the beautiful, messy, hilarious moments that bring people together, and what makes them ultimately stay.
The book definitely explores the theme of romantic love, and the sexual tension between the two main characters is wildly palatable! But it delves deeper into the idea of love between friends and family, and the lengths to which people will go for those whom they have chosen to keep in their hearts.
The dialogue throughout is smart and funny, and each and every character in this book is richly developed. I felt like so many of them could be among my good friends.
This book can be read as a standalone, but it was a treat to be reunited with some of the characters from the first two books in the series.
Overall, a delightful read!

I really enjoyed Vivienne and Oliver’s story. It is a story of unexpected meetings of the right person at the wrong time and a second chance to explore what could be. As the third interconnected book in the Will There Be Time series it transports readers to Paris and to the circle of Austen and Matt. Vivienne is Matt’s sister and Oliver is his best friend and best man and the use of nicknames leads to forced proximity and a chance to get to know each other. But will the timing ever be right?

The characters are well-written, likeable, and multi-dimensional. Vivienne and Oliver are very likeable and seeing Matt in the protective older brother role adds to his character. The friends round out the story and add fullness and depth. Austen and her friends are so caring, supportive, and non judgmental and I really like the way they add Vivienne to the group. Plus they give thoughtful and thought provoking advice. I would love to be part of this group.

I recommend this story (and this series) to readers that enjoy romance.
