This was very cute. I would rate the story more as 3.5 stars just because there isn’t much going on besides sex and computer puns but it is a fun and quick read so I’m rounding it up to 4 stars!
I think the first book in this series had a bit more of a plot while this one is more sex. But it’s sex with feelings and finding your mate. I just think there could’ve been more involved. Sean has a sister he’s taking care of and she’s mentioned but I would’ve liked to see them together and see their dynamic. Greg is an orc and he’s green and big and c*ms a lot. Oh, and he’s a computer nerd. That’s basically all we get. I would’ve liked to know more about him and what being an orc in this fun world entailed. But I don’t think that was the authors intention. These books are lighthearted and that’s what you get.

SHUT UP! THIS WAS ADORABLE. Ctrl+Alt+ Orc has been my feel good book of the year! Sean and Greg are two of the most ridiculously sweet Teddy-Bear-Cinnamon-Roll-Golden-Retriever sweet little babies I have ever read about. OMG. I love them.
Greg is the big, green Orc IT guy with slutty little glasses, pierced nipples and a big fat *horned* cock - Like, damn, Daddy 👀 Right?! He has the biggest fucking heart (and an even bigger dick. Okay okay, I’ll stop talking about his dick.) But, for real 🥵 He’s just so perfect and you will instantly fall in love with the big guy. The way he cares for Sean just gives you the warm and fuzzies!
Sean is the human new hire at Labyrinth Solutions with a massive “Good Boy” praise kink and a belly I just can’t get enough of. I’m here for it 🙌🏼 He was the -slightly- grumpy to Greg’s sunshine. He spends his life taking care of his sister and making sure she has everything… I just wanted someone to swoop in and take care of him for a change. - Insert Greg - riding in on his white horse, waffle iron in hand!
This book is full of sweet moments, lots of love, good food, vulnerable confessions, soulmates, beautifully vers MC’s and enough cum to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool! So, obviously you don’t wanna miss out of this one!

Got to beta read this book and yall are going to LOVE this one. I just adore office romances (not irl, ew) and Greg is top tier book boyfriend material! Sean is no slouch either as our resident grump turned softie. I laughed so hard, Matt really outdid himself with the humor in this one! Don’t worry it still has buckets of cum 😂

Book 2 in the Love at Labyrinth Solutions continued to deliver a bunch of heart, heat, and loveable monsters!!
I loved how sweet our gigantic orc was. He was a cheerful, nerdy orc who definitely wanted to help anyone he could, especially his mate. I loved how when he realized that Sean was a little skittish, he noted that he would not rush him and would take his friendship over nothing if that’s how it had to be. I found him absolutely adorable and loveable.
And then we had Sean. I loved how he was so used to taking care of everyone else, but he finally allowed himself to be the one taken care of. I loved his snark and how he overthought everything because that was incredibly relatable! I also appreciated the body rep we got with his character. A little short, a little round, a little hairy, but wholly realistic and loveable.
As per usual in this series, we got a ton of spice!! I loved all the encounters and all the different kinks presented in the book. M.A. Wardell is really a master of creating a story that is both adorable and spicy.
I really enjoyed seeing Jamie as much as we did. His banter with Jack was absolutely perfection and it’s making me want my Jack book that much more!! I can’t wait for all the other stories to come in this series!

I have been so excited to read Sean and Greg’s story. This book was sweet and extra spicy. Sean is such a little cutie with his short stature and grumpy attitude while looking like a cherub. Greg is a mountain of a orc and just as sweet with a heart to match. He is immediately drawn to Sean and finds constant reasons to see him at work. Sean thinks his computer is cursed because it is constantly breaking down, but he’s not too upset about it because he gets to see his hunky IT guy come fix it. Late nights at the office lead to more when these two start getting closer. And when they finally decide to give in things get really spicy and very messy thanks to Greg’s *ahem* abilities if you catch my drift. Which does not deter Sean. In fact he is all for it. It’s obvious they were made for each other, but Sean takes a little longer to come to that conclusion because he has some anxiety, but Greg does not let that deter him from wooing the pants off of him, figuratively and literally. And I loved every minute of it. There are so many sweet moments, especially Greg making them waffles for breakfast. (side note, this made me crave waffles so bad you don’t even know). Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I cannot wait for the next one.

I read the first book in this series and just knew I was going to have an amazing time with these two so much. I love the buildup so much with these two.
Sean and Greg were just so adorable in this book. Greg was such a sunshine and in the beginning, Sean was a grump. Greg definitely turns that around.
When Sean gets scared for a moment, Greg is right there. I also love that we get the mention of Sean having a sister.
I love how we get the mentions of previous characters from the first book. I laughed at the commentary with Sean and Amara.
This book is full of sweetness and you definitely do get some funny moments. I really loved how Greg claimed him in front of everyone. I stealer out of joy with these two.
I cannot wait to see what’s next in this fun series.

This is possibly the lowest angst workplace romance I have ever read and it was exactly the right vibes for what I was needing! These two check all the boxes, size difference, husky men, grump x sunshine, buckets of fun (hehehe) and overall great communication that made this feel like I was floating down a lazy river, some twists and turns but the at the end just a beautifully written story with so much heart and sweetness. I enjoyed the nerdiness and silly jokes that really brought so much humor to Sean and Greg.
My only issue was I wanted more conversations between our two MMC’s, it felt like there were some moments I felt could have been given more dialogue and less description of what that conversation was - if that makes sense.

Oh, how I adore Greg and Sean!
I knew I was going to love this novel when I read this section of the author's note: "I kept wondering: what if the orc was the soft one? What if he was kind, thoughtful, a little awkward, and deeply invested in doing the right thing?"
CTRL+ALT+ORC is a delightfully fluffy, cozy romance. There is something just absolutely lovely about a giant Orc who is like, I like you, and I'm going to care about you, paired with a grumpy human who is like, fine, I'm not going to get in my own way. It's like pulling on your favorite oversized hoodie and fuzzy socks, then cuddling up under the softest blanket.
We are also treated to MA Wardell's signature blend of heartfelt moments, laugh-out-loud lines, and steamy, steamy scenes where the energy is "I want him to plow me like a snow-covered street."
While the story is low-angst, it is infinitely relatable. Even though Sean starts crushing hard in chapter one, his initial hesitation feels very natural. There is the pressure of starting a new job, while he adjusts to life's changes. And while he is definitely crushing on the IT guy, it makes sense that he worries about his new boss being the head of Beings Relations, and he questions whether this super-hot guy really likes him.
I love that CTRL+ALT+ORC focuses on Sean and Greg as they explore their connection and fall in love.

I am obsessed with this story! That might have something to do with the fact that I’m into orcs, but who knows. 😂 Sean and Greg were fantastic in this quick, low-angst, monster romance! The romance was sweet and the spice was just right!! And while Sean is hot in his own ways, it’s Greg that made me absolutely feral while reading this book! 😂

This is a super cute, short, low-angst office romance. I thought Greg was wonderful and loved his quiet determination to win Sean over.
The banter was cute, the puns endearing, and I love the little workplace ecosystem that MA Wardell has created with this series.
Not a perfect rating because there were a couple of things that took me out - I found Sean’s motivations a bit confusing at times and (I hate to say it, but) there was a crazy overuse of the phrase “good boy”.
All that said, I absolutely had a good time reading this and I’ll definitely pick up the next one.

I love Greg and Sean 🥺 This grumpy human and sweet orc compliment each other so well! They are able to have open communication, consent, and really hot s*x. Greg is a large orc (in more ways than one 😉) that needs a c*m tarp, has pierced nipples, and is obsessed with Sean. Sean is a grumpy human that is just trying to find his place in life and that place happens to be on top of and under a giant, happy orc. So thrilled with this latest addition to the Love at Labyrinth Solutions series.

I've been looking forward to Greg and Sean's story since Meetings with the Minotaur and I absolutely loved them!! Greg is the nerdy IT guy you can't just help but fall in love with and he balances Sean's grumpiness so very well. No one can write spicy yet sweet like MA Wardell and I cannot wait for more in this series!

I gotta say, M.A. Wardell has been an auto-read for me for years. And now that he’s gifted us Love at Labyrinth Solutions, he’s hitting my monster romance top 5 lists every book! Ctrl+Alt+Orc had me smiling like a goofball from page 1, and I gobbled this book like a handful of candies. I love a hot nerd who is unapologetic about their love of RPGs and tech projects, and Greg in IT delivers. He’s got the black geek glasses, the tech lingo, the hot forearms, and the unwavering dedication to his crush that only battling online mages can give a guy. He is sweet, he is sunshine, and he is also spicy. He’s upfront with his vulnerability and kind. I. Am. Smitten. Sean, as far as grumpy guys go, is surprisingly delightful. His frustration, exhaustion, stress, and subsequent stand-offish-ness are all so understandable and relatable that I felt as though I needed to bring him soup and a hug.
The world of Labyrinth Solutions gets more intricate and intriguing with each book, and I would love a series of Magic The Gathering type character cards for everyone who works there (ahem, Mr. Wardell, ahem). Not only are we getting such a fun and Office-esque twist on mythic beasts and cryptids, but we also get characters who think things like “…he’s a sexy magnet with enormous shoulders, and I’m the world’s most willing paperclip.” Gods, yes. This was such a sweet & spicy romance! Sean and Greg were adorable 💖 I can firmly say I much prefer a dorky and eager to please Orc over the traditional Orc archetype 😌
The main reason this doesn't get a higher rating from me is the fact that a lot of the romance felt...summarized. Early on we had several moments where the characters could've had conversations that went beyond just fixing the technology falling apart around Sean...but we just didn't. Instead, the author would just be like, "Oh we talked about x and y. Moving on to the next scene ✨️" It made the romance between the two characters feel less believable. Worst of all, conversations that could've happened earlier (and helped the sense of budding romance) all happened much later in the book in rapid succession.
Putting that aside, I did find the characters adorable. The trademark M.A. Wardell humor was definitely present here, and I always appreciate it. It made the dialogue snappy and fun to read. This was the case not only with our main characters but with the side characters as well. How am I supposed to resist lines of dialogue such as:
"I, ugh... see, the thing is...well, you know how Splatters squirt in your mouth?"
"Greg, I know how an orgasm works."
How am I supposed to resist lines like that? The exact kind of humor I look for in monster romances 😂
The smut in this was also immaculate 🙂↕️ I love reading about verse couples. They breathe air into my lungs every time. I love the push and pull in that dynamic. It makes me genuinely happy to read about! It also warmed my heart that Greg's relationship with Sean was the first time he was able to explore being a bottom, as all his prior relationships always expected him to top 🥺 He deserved to have all his needs met without being forced into a box! 💖
Anyway. I'm excited to continue reading the books in this series! I genuinely don't even care about which characters in this world Wardell chooses to write about. I'm sure I'll have a blast with any and all of them 💁🏻♀️✨️

Ctrl+Alt+Orc is yet another charmer from the talented M.A. Wardell. I have fallen hard for his delightful stories about finding love at Labyrinth Solutions. This time around, it's Sean who is the grumpy guy and Greg is the lovable, jovial and truly adorable gentle giant. The nervous and stoic new hire and the sweet tech guy found a spark right from their first meeting. And armed with plenty of smiles, exploding candies and incredible geeky knowledge of all things tech, it wasn't long before Greg found the mate he had always dreamed about.
These books are the perfect antidote to a hard day or a particularly intense read. You can tell that Wardell is having a great time with these endearing characters and the descriptions of the creatures that inhabit this world are marvelous. The fact that Greg is a gentle giant, when excited, could paint a room with his essence, had me giggling every single time that happened. Sean, of course, couldn't see anything but the sexy green man and his prep for when he and Greg finally consummated their attraction was so darn cute!
These two haven't had it easy in the romance department and despite their differences in size and personality, they somehow fit perfectly together. I loved seeing Sean come out of his shell and Greg was beyond caring that his mate was well taken care of both in and out of the bedroom. In fact, it's the tender moments where each laid their hearts bare that really made this book special. Not to mention, Greg's penchant for home cooking that wooed Sean even more.
I can't wait for more in this well-crafted series as Wardell matches up the unexpected with resounding results. The very definition of opposites attracting, each book is light yet full of beautiful moments and explosive passion that give each character exactly what they need and deserve. That Labyrinth Solutions is surely the place for romance and I cannot wait to read about more of these wonderful employees and their search for love.

"CTRL+ALT+ORC" by M.A Wardell is the second book in his series "Love at Labyrinth Solutions" It's an M/M romance between Greg, a ray of sunshine in the IT department, and Sean, the newest admin for BR (Being Relations).
The story follows Sean as he starts his new job and meets Greg, who despite his size and the fact he's an orc, is actually a bucket of sunshine. The pair hit it off and romance ensues.
Ratings:
Overall: 5/5 hearts - This book is so freaking sweet. Ya'll, it had me giggling and kicking my feet. I nearly combusted from cuteness overload.
Peppers: 4/5 - There's a little less spice than there was in book one. But there's still plenty of it! This book seems to focus a bit more on the sweet moments rather than the spicy ones.
Spice: 5/5 - But by golly, once the spice gets going, it's so stinking good. The spice is realistic and funny and messy (goodbye bucket, hello tarp). And it has FFF (Flip Flop F...) and I'm obsessed.
Plot: 5/5 -
- Story: There's not a lot to the story. It's a very simple romance with a tiny bit of self imposed angst, but otherwise, it's all sweetness. And I've said it 100x. I love a simple plot that's easy to follow, keeps only what it needs, and lets me sit back and enjoy. This book does just that.
- Characters: OMG. This is where the book shines. Sean is so relatable and has the world on his shoulders and isn't used to someone wanting to take care of him for a change. This creates some tension for him and Greg which felt incredibly believable.
And Greg. We need to start writing sonnets to Greg. Love songs to his greatness. Maybe even put up a statue. Because Greg is a walking green flag (literally). He fixes things in Sean's apartment, supports him emotionally and is just a wonderful character all around.
- Writing: The writing is fantastic. It's easy to read and flows well. 0 complaints.

I've been seeing this book everywhere lately on socials, so when I saw the opportunity arise to read a copy of this book early, I had to do so! I'm not super familiar with MA Wardell's writing, I have a bunch of their books on my TBR but have only been able to read one other book of theirs so far, until now.
This amazing story is about Greg, an IT specialist and a magician when it comes ro wrangling unruly computer systems, repairing computers that "just fell off the desk", and fixing crooked cupboard doors, among other things. And this story is also about the new guy who just got hired, Sean, who seems a bit overwhelmed at first but quickly settles in. Although, his computer seems to have a vendetta against him, but that's where the romance between these two start building!!
This book is absolutely fantastic, honestly, I have no notes. The writing was engaging, witty, funny, detailed, and I love how the author wasn't afraid to go all in with the tech related details and information. I really enjoyed how the writing had a comedic undertone to it, that made the whole reading experience so much more enjoyable for me. The characters themselves are absolutely amazing as well, I like how different they are from each other and yet somehow work/fit together do well. They truly are each other's person!
All the witty banter, along with the comedic and flirty dialogue these characters had, really helped portray their chemistry and how they had sparks from the very first conversation. The artwork for this book is what caught my eye, the blurb is what intrigued me enough to want to read it, and the writing, along with the characters is why I ended up loving it.
If you're looking for a low-angst, fated mates (ish), forced proximity, workplace romance, and want to read about adorable pizza dates, then you should absolutely read this book!

Sean staying late to “help” Greg when he had to fix somethings after hours was also the perfect way for them to slowly transition into going on dates, and hooking up in his office was 🥵

Greg and Sean fall fast but it is a novella and you have the mate aspect, it also is very believable that they are perfect for each other and would fall fast. Their love language is definitely touch (but not in just a sexual way, like sooo many shoulder brushes and touches haha). Sean also has some strong walls up, but Greg breaks them down with his adorable persistence.
My only negative was it could get repetitive at times and because this is a short novella it was kind of obvious, but then other times the repetitiveness helped drive some things home so it also worked out.
Bonus, I love a good book dedication: “For anyone who knows kindness is the sexiest trait of all… But also appreciates a massive cock.”

Its funny, its witty, its SPICY, and it's really really sweet. Greg is a bottle of pure sunshine and we would all need him in our lives, that i am sure of. I also really appreciated was how it defied the "norms". Bigger man = top. Orcs = big meanie. Matt has been really good at deconstructing those preconceived ideas in the past and it works well here too.
But... while being really sweet, to me, like book 1, there was not enough "story" for me to really connect with the characters. Again, i wish it had been a fully fledge novel and not a shorter book. This universe seems so fun to me but we barely even get more than the two main characters. And even if more is coming, i still find myself wanting more of it all, more of the work place, more of the atmostphere, and, in this case, more of Sean's issues with everything IT.
All in all it was good, very sweet, and it reads really well.
Read if you like insta love, LOADS of spice, mate bonds, and a side of grumpy-sunshine.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this book, and now I’m counting down the days until Clang’s story!
My favourite line has to be:
“Local computer nerd accidentally launches boyfriend through ceiling.”
Honestly, I was howling with laughter!

Right off the bat, let me get my one complaint out of the way: this book wasn't long enough! Even at a perfectly respectable 246 pages, I would have happily read another 100. Seriously, I don't know what it was about this book, but I got to the end and had to look up a page count because I was convinced it was a novella. The smut? Immaculate. The tarp? Hilarious. The work-themed sex jokes? Amazing.
This book checked off a handful of my favorite boxes: Smutty, fluffy, low-angst, funny, and cozy. I couldn't get enough of Greg. He was the sweetest, and it was obvious he was completely head over heels for Sean. Fated Mates. Duh. I am sad they never had a sit down "You are my fated mate" type conversation, and from what I recall, Greg only mentions it once to Sean () and it is in the context of a larger love confession.
They're both verse, and they definitely prove it more than once. So often, in fact, that most of their sex has a position switch in the middle. I actually got annoyed at one point because
Before I wrap this up, can we talk about the amount of pizza these two men consumed? Three pizzas between the two of them? Holy smokes. And then they had sex afterward? My tummy could never, but good for them!

Ctrl+Alt+Orc is the second book in M.A. Wardell’s Love at Labyrinth Solutions series. I read Meetings with the Minotaur and loved it. So I was so excited when I got the chance to be on the Ctrl+Alt+Orc ARC team. I love this story and I love Sean and Greg so much. Also, I am excited about the third book in the series Clang and Circumstance. There is a Sneak Peek at the end of Ctrl+Alt+Orc. Okay, Okay, I am obsessed with M.A. Wardell’s books.
This is a really cute story about the very sweet orc IT guy Greg and Sean the grumpy new guy in the office. Sean’s computer doesn’t seem to like him and he needs a lot of help from the very hot and nerdy Greg. Sean is the legal guardian of his little sister who is in college. He has had to work hard to keep things together and to take care of his sister. Greg is a sweetheart that loves computers and video games. He thought he was too nerdy for anyone to fall in love with him. When Greg meets Sean he knows that they are fated mates. Greg is so sweet and patient with Sean as he works through his feelings, the stress of a new job, and caring for his sister.
Sean and Greg have such a sweet love story. Ctrl+Alt+Orc isn’t as spicy as Meetings with the Minotaur but it’s the perfect amount of spice for Greg and Sean. Still just as messy. 😉

OMG!!! Such a cozy, feel-good monster workplace romance! 💚✨
This book completely stole my heart. It's giving semi-grumpy x sunshine... but honestly? It's more of a flustered cinnamon roll x sunshine, and I adored every second of it. Watching them go from awkward coworkers to being completely attached at the hip was ridiculously sweet.
I'm an absolute sucker for fated mates and this story delivered everything I could've wanted. The chemistry between this human and his orc felt so effortless, and every interaction had me smiling like an idiot. Their intimacy wasn't just hot, it was incredibly tender. The trust, mutual respect, and quiet devotion between them practically melted right through my Kindle screen, wrapped around my heart, and refused to let go.
The romance is soft, cozy, flirty, and filled with the kind of love that makes you want to curl up under a blanket and kick your feet while reading. If you love monster romance, workplace romance, fated mates, and an orc who will absolutely make your standards skyrocket... this one deserves a spot on your TBR.

The story moves along pretty quickly but has its share of drama, it’s small, but it’s there and it was handled really well. Without a doubt, I enjoyed reading this book, and now I’m eagerly awaiting the third book in this series.

This started off very cute, but overall was a bit TOO low angst for me. We get a few mentions of factors that might make Sean a bit grumpy, but not much of him actually being grumpy or gruff. I thought the conflict was going to be him not letting Greg in, but they start having after-hours at-work dates pretty quickly. I didn’t understand why they do all of this at work when Sean is afraid to lose his job. Then, he randomly pulls back . . . for half a day. I just wanted the merest whisper of tension to last more than a page.
It also does a thing that bugs me, of loosely describing conversations that aren’t actually very funny sounding, but the characters are losing their minds laughing. I feel like you just need to give no real details or put in the work to try and make the reader laugh. I’m just squinting at the words wondering where the joke is.
On the positive side, I truly liked the dynamic between the characters; Greg is very sweet and careful of Sean’s emotions and situation, Sean is thoughtful in return. It just felt like we only got see the surface of them and their relationship, and I found myself wishing for more. However, I know that angst-free romances are needed and clearly most people are really enjoying this one.
