I can’t get enough of this story !
Oh what a wild ride this book took me through. I feel like giving this book 5⭐️ isn’t enough and if I could give it more I would! From the very beginning I was hooked that I did not want to put this book down! The suspense had me on my toes and once I thought I had everything figured out something else would happen and I would have new theories. So many scenes had me giggling , breathless , and trying to cool down because of how intensely hot they were 😮💨🥵. I won’t lie when I was getting the info for this book I didn’t see the tropes list in full so i technically went in blind🤭 so to my surprise when things👀 were being revealed I was shocked! In a good way though😏. I’m so glad I got to read this book in advance and I can’t wait for everyone else to read it aswell.

So hot!!
I loved this book! It wasn't a cookie cutter read by any means. I loved that it kept me guessing and hungry for more throughout the entire book. Not only was the spice level super hot, the plot kept me hooked. I could not put it down and can't wait for the sequel!

There were so many good things to say about this book that I don’t know where to begin.
I literally could not put this book down. It was a mystery, and a dark romance, and just plain crazy in the best of ways. The action and the spice start in the first chapter and never stop.
We meet Dylan when she’s going on a date after recently being divorced from her horrid ex-husband Richard.
She meets Garrett and there are instant sparks. He invites her to a to Bloody Masquerade party where they have a heavy make out session in public while he’s masked.
And then – he ghosts her!
The next thing she knows a police officer, Nash, shows up and tells her Garrett was murdered the afternoon of the Masquerade Party. So it wasn’t him at the Masquerade party and she made out with a masked man she doesn’t know!
From there things just get wilder. Dylan has a stalker, but one who she is strangely physically attracted to and the chemistry between the masked stalker and her is off the charts hot.
As the police officer says at one point: “Every single damn time I see this girl, she’s either getting stalked, kidnapped, threatened, chased through the woods, or actively making the worst possible decision available to her.”
The plot in this book was just wild and unanticipated.
I went from thinking her tattoo artist McKinzie was the stalker, to thinking the security guard from work was the stalker, to thinking the cop was her stalker!
Meanwhile “ghost” keeps appearing and having wild sex with her and she can’t tell him to stop.
Every character in the book was fleshed out, including her hugely supportive girlfriend Rhea.
There was so much action and so much spice in this book I could barely keep up.
The twists and turns were completely unanticipated and the ending – Yikes! You will not figure this one out ahead of time.
To summarize, amazing plot, terrific characters, super spice, and all the twists and turns.
And – in the first book for this author. What will she have in store for us next?

This book grabbed me from the very first chapter and never let go.

The premise alone was enough to hook me: Dylan is trying to move forward while grieving the loss of her father and navigating an impending divorce. She reluctantly agrees to a Tinder date, sparks fly, and just when it seems like life might finally be turning around… everything takes a terrifying turn.
From there, the story becomes a suspense-filled ride where I questioned everyone’s motives.
One of my favorite aspects was the multiple POVs. They added so much depth to the story and kept me constantly guessing who could be trusted. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another twist sent me in a completely different direction.
The cast of characters is unforgettable. Rhea is the kind of best friend everyone deserves. Ghost is equal parts fascinating and unsettling, and every scene with him had me wondering what would happen next. Cal immediately became another standout character, and I loved the emotional connection that developed between him and Dylan through their shared experiences with loss. Even the side characters felt purposeful and added to the mystery.
The pacing was excellent. There wasn’t a point where I wanted to put the book down. The suspense continued to build, the chemistry was intense, and the character development made me genuinely invested in what happens next.
If you’re looking for a traditional romance with a guaranteed happily ever after, this isn’t it. This is Book 1, and it ends on one of those cliffhangers that makes you immediately reach for the sequel. I literally sat there staring at my Kindle wondering, “That’s it?!”

Vile by Samantha Snow is a dark romance psychological thriller that had me questioning EVERYTHING. This book threw me for a loop more than once, and every single time I thought I had finally figured out who our masked man was, I changed my mind. I was suspicious of everyone. 😂
We’ve got masked men, stalking, murder, spice, psychological games, twists, turns, and a whole lot of “WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS HAPPENING?” And somehow, Samantha Snow manages to keep you guessing while giving us supporting characters that I genuinely enjoyed having along for the ride.
And the ENDING?!?!
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL WAS THAT?!
Because excuse me, Samantha. I was not emotionally prepared for that ending, and now I need book two immediately. Like, right to my Kindle. Right now. In my face. I have questions. I need answers. I need MORE.
Dylan’s story pulled me in, and the combination of the psychological thriller elements with the dark romance and all the deliciously questionable behavior made this one incredibly fun to read. I loved constantly trying to piece together what was happening, only to realize I was probably wrong again.
If you like your romance dark, spicy, twisty, stalkerish, suspenseful, and just a little bit unhinged, you absolutely need to grab Vile, book one in The Vile Ones.

This book was actually phenomenal!!
I don’t even know where to begin.

The characters? LOVED THEM. Especially Rhea! She was absolutely adorable. She was so cute, I loved everything about her.
Dylan? Badass, hot, strong willed, outgoing.
Every time I thought I had the stalker figured out I was proven wrong. Every time, throwing me for a loop because I thought for sure I was right! Well, that was until the last few chapters. I was right every time. It threw me off because I want expecting that, no. It was crazy!!! I wanted more and the more I read, the more hooked I became. I was sooo invested in this book!!

Holy spice Batman—what a ride!
I like to go into books completely blind. I only knew it was a stalker romance (yum).
The book had me hooked in only a couple pages.
The prose is gorgeous, the banter is top-tier, and I got way too attached to multiple characters. I spent half the book making theories about who Ghost was... only to find out I was somehow right and wrong at the same time 😂
One of my favorite twists I've read in a while because it completely reframed something I'd noticed earlier, and suddenly everything clicked.
This book absolutely got me with the ✨one more chapter✨ curse. If you like dark romance with genuinely strong writing and clever storytelling, I highly recommend it.

What a ride!!! Starting with a late Tinder date that turns into a sexcapade to a murder, there is no lack of excitement here. Lots of spice in this one. Oh, I forgot to mention an awesome playlist. The story keeps you guessing three quarters of the way through before you actually start to figure out what is happening by whom. THEN, can we say, “Cliffhanger???!” WOW!
Fast paced. Spicy hot. Murder.

I cannot wait to see what comes next in this book. Rhea is the best- best friend, love her. Everyone besides her mom and her best friend and her running friend probably owe her the biggest grovels and apologies ever. Hopefully book 2 we will get a ton more answers and can figure out what's going on with her ex and Ghost.

Tinder dates, stalking, spice. What more could you ask for? This book checked every box. I was obsessed with this story. From the twists and turns, to the chaos and stalking. This was freaking mind blowing 🤯 every time I thought I knew who the stalker was, nope. This had me on the edge of my seat, grabbing myself from ask that heat, and invested from beginning to end. This was dark and steamy. A real mind twister. And I loved every second of it.

It was well written and was an easy read. The characters were interesting.
The descriptions were great. I like when authors take the time to give you the description of the little things (like outfits, the decorations in the house, etc.). It makes the story playing in your mind even sharper.
Book two can't release fast enough.

This book had me hooked since the first chapter 🌶️ I didn’t want to put it down ! The thrill the mystery the spice it always had you guessing what will happen next! What a ride it took me on , literally having you feel you were in the book ! Vile deserved more than 5 stars ! Can’t wait to see what comes next!!

This one took me a bit to get though, I kept trying to figure out who was the stalker the whole time. The twist at the end and the cliffhanger left me frustrated. Definitely recommend reading!

Went in completely blind and was NOT disappointed! In most masked stalker romances you quickly find out the stalkers true identity. In Vile, I was left guessing and I loved that element of suspense. This book has a great balance of plot & spice with an FMC who owns her sexuality rather than shying away from it, which I found refreshing.
Book 1 in an unfinished series by a genuinely engaging author I’m so happy I’ve been able to connect with recently! You’ll be left wanting more in a good way with this cliffhanger 🖤

I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the exquisite attention to all the details that helped make it feel like you were right there with Dylan and her masked stalker! It had all the twists and turns and kept you guessing until the very end. I love a masked man story and this was such a fun and spicy read!

This completely caught me off guard. Going into it, I thought I was going to be able to piece the mystery together before Dylan did. Every time I became convinced I'd figured out who Ghost was, another reveal would completely dismantle my theory. Just when I thought I had the answers, the story pulled the rug out from under me again. I absolutely loved that.
The first few chapters were a little slower than I expected, but once the story found its footing, I couldn't put it down. The suspense just kept building, and the final third had me flying through pages because I needed answers. One of my favourite aspects was the multiple POVs. Looking back after the reveal, I found myself questioning every Ghost chapter. Which one was actually behind the mask? Who was stalking Dylan during that scene? It makes me want to reread the book just to see what clues I missed the first time around.
Dylan slowly unravelling thr truth at the end had me in a chokehold…only to discover she still didn’t get the WHOLE truth and all the info still. Learning of the four MMCs slowly go from hired hitmen to fiercely protective was easily my favourite part. Their growing attachment to Dylan felt natural considering everything they uncovered during their surveillance, and the shift from "eliminate the target" to "protect her at all costs" was incredibly satisfying.
And that ending... I saw the page count getting lower and knew there was absolutely no way everything was going to be wrapped up. I still wasn't prepared for that cliffhanger. Now I desperately need book two because I have far more questions than answers. This was my first book by this author, and it definitely won't be my last.

Sometimes you just know when you have a gem in the palm of your hands. This is one of those stories. There were surprises and secrets. This book took some turns that I certainly did not expect. When I thought it was going one way, it totally went another. So much fun to read! The story was laid out perfectly. The FMC was a strong, smart and beautiful woman minding her own business. The MMCs came into her life at different times for different reasons. It moved along at a fast pace and was easy to read and digest. I didn’t want to put it down. It was exciting, suspenseful and intriguing. I was immersed in this book. The spice was really good, too. This us book #1 and leaves on a brutal cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next one. I would definitely recommend this novel.
