4 Bishop Malloy Stars

I love this series, each book is about a different character and each book is so different. I would say the first two books were a little more intense and Last Mile is tamer. This is Bishop and Samantha’s story.

The book starts off with a bang when we witness Samantha’s father death. He was killed by a biker. It will grip your heart and you will feel for the girl. Samantha becomes an ATF agent and takes down the bad guys.

Gavin is her partner and both of them do a lot of undercover work. Gavin needs to get in with the Raiders. Samantha is Gavin’s undercover girlfriend so she can get the inside scope from a woman’s prospective.

Sam is a tough girl. She’s an agent so she knows how to take care of herself but she has traumatic issues with her father’s death. She isn’t comfortable around bikers, but she doesn’t let it affect her job. I was really nervous reading this book because we all know you know what will hit the fan eventually. As the Heroine works undercover, no good can come of this. This creates some angst and tension in the book.

The relationship between Gavin and Sam is cute. Gavin is gay so there is no love triangle, but since they are a pretend couple, Bishop knows he can’t pursue Sam because she is taken. I really liked Bishop, he’s a hard guy, but he’s really sweet and nice. He’s not like your typical MC guys.

I can feel the tension and attraction Bishop has for Sam, but it’s sad because he can’t have her. So the steam element is mild as well. I think the banter between Sam and Bishop is cute because they harmless flirt and don’t really take it any farther.

The book shifts in the middle and I really like this change of direction. I feel like it brings the storyline forward and we get to see a different side of Bishop and Sam.

If you are a fan of the series or Katie Ashley, you will not be disappointed.

Kitty's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

As MC Romances are starting to become really predictable, Katie Ashley adds a different dimension with her Vicious Cycle Series. A Bad Boy with an ATF Agent … interesting and complicated. A perfect mix of trust, distrust, lies, and love.

Bishop was just special right from the beginning of the book. He may have been an officer in the Raiders but his goal, and that of his brothers, is to bring the Club full circle and go legitimate. Easier said than done when there are outside forces looking to bring them down and ruin all the work that they have done to distance themselves from the gun running and illegal goings on of their MC.

Having to deal with witnessing the death of her father at the hands of a biker could be Samantha’s unraveling when having to go undercover with the Raiders. Then there is Bishop. She can’t deny that he turns her on and intrigues her. But how does she reconcile the past, the present and the future with her feelings and her job?

Quite a conundrum, especially since Bishop has no idea what she does for a living. The only thing that he knows for sure is that she’s the one and only for him. Until …

I was really impressed with how Katie Ashley brought both worlds together, tore them apart and then built them back up. I was thrilled that she was able to find a way for them to have a Happily-Ever-After since I didn’t think that there would be a way to reconcile the good and the bad. But, I was really happy that she did and that, even after the biggest betrayal, they were able to find their way back into each other’s arms.

I absolutely loved Bishop! It was a good story and I enjoyed it. I'm going to leave it at that because I can't explain my true feeling without giving major spoilers.

A heart-wrenching start to a great read…

I love this series about bikers, family and love! There are many MC stories to choose from but this series always bubbles up to the top for me. Bishop Malloy has his turn at the love wheel this time around, and Samantha Vargas is going to give him a run for his money…

This story opens with a heart-wrenching turn as Samantha learns young that not always the good guys prevail. Her need to keep chipping away at the bad buys follows her every choice and, as she goes undercover, she realizes that the black and white world she lives in is much greyer than she thought, or wished for.

I love the dynamic between the two as the situation they find themselves in does not open up a smooth path to even thinking about romance. They each, in their own way, are trying to do right, and don’t realize that they really are on the same team. At the same time the characters are winning over each other, they’re doing the same with me.

Bishop is sweet and sexy and protective in a way that made me sigh and sigh some more. Samantha is a great match for him with her strength and compassion. She needed convincing but Bishop has all the right stuff…

“I will always put her life before mine.”

The path was rocky—Samantha is already taken and Bishop is a man on the wrong side of the law—but as their attraction only deepens, their truths start to surface. At turns funny and heartbreaking, this is another story in the series that gave me everything I wanted…

Now, if only I could take Bishop home… ~ Diane, 4 stars

~~~
Last Mile is the last book in the Vicious Cycle series and it was definitely an interesting ride. The blurb of this book had me intrigued, but also questioning how it would end…
Samantha has had a bad opinion of bikers ever since the death of her father, so when she goes undercover in a biker club, she has to face her demons—and realize that her view may not be correct.
Bishop is a player and likes women very much. Though, when he sees Samantha, he can’t help but want her, despite the fact that she is his friend’s girlfriend.
Samantha, Bishop, and the Raiders go through quite a bit in this book. There are a lot of twists and turns, along with good and bad things. Samantha’s life is turned upside down and so are her feelings, while Bishop’s philosophy on women is changed—and Samantha helps him realize his dreams for the future are something he should be proud of, and tell people about.
While this wasn’t my favorite book in the series, I still really liked it. It was an interesting plot and an interesting set of characters who fall for each other despite the odd. I think the ending to this book, and this series, was a good one. Being able to catch up with the rest of the bikers and their women was great to read about.
I am looking forward to reading more books by Katie Ashley in the future. ~ Leah, 4 stars
A scorching HOT love story that brought out all the feels...
After the heart wrenching prologue, I just knew that I was in for an emotional ride.
OMG! I was SO FREAKING EXCITED to get to Bishop's HEA, I mean I freaking LOVE that man! So stubborn. So sexy. So intense. And Samantha Vargas, what a great heroine for Bishop. She is stubborn as well, but it just adds to much to their ridiculously HOT chemistry! I just loved how this story flowed. It was fast-paced, passionate, seductive, and just fantastic! An undercover agent falls in love with her mark? I mean, that is a perfect storyline! It gives it that forbidden edge, that makes the romance that much sweeter.
There is a sexy push and pull between Bishop and Sam. They can fight it all they want...come up with every excuse in the book, but it all comes down to a connection they can't deny. The secret that Sam is keeping, could ruin everything. This is a classic case of going with your heart, or going with your head. Lines are crossed and tensions rise in this fabulous installment of Katie Ashley's Vicious Cycle series! This entire series was great! The characters, the drama, the passion...all of it was beautiful and intense and just a delight to read. I immersed myself into this world and didn't want it to end.
It's sexy, swoon worthy, and sweet! It's action-packed, thrilling, and fierce. It's always a treat to experience the greatness that is Katie Ashley. With her cocky and gorgeous alpha heroes and her sexy sassy heroines, there is no doubt in my mind that every romance readers would enjoy this series!
When I know that it comes to an end of a series I always want that series to go out with a bang. Unfortunately it didn’t quite work for me with this one.
You know what they say? Three can keep a secret if two of them are dead.
Samantha Vargas witnessed something truly awful as an eight year old. It defined the rest of her life and of her career. We first meet Sam when she is undercover as a hooker and she is totally kick arse. I liked her straight off the bat. In RL we would be friends, drinking buddies and we would set the town on fire.
Her next case is where she has to face her fear of the past. With her partner Gavin they are to infiltrate the Hells Raiders and to see what connection they have with the Mexican Cartel. Gavin and Sam are great together.
“Why, why can’t you be straight?” Gavin laughed heartily. “You and I make a great business partnership, Vargas, but there’s no way in hell we could ever be married.”
Gavin and Sam become hang arounds first and then Gavin prospects. Seriously though Ms. Ashley I’m still pissed at what you did there but then again it contributed to the story.
Bishop Malloy is the youngest of the Malloy brothers and well he fucks, parties and fights hard that is until he meets Sam and has a dilemma he wants her but she is with Gavin although that gets cleared up at some point.
The Hells Raiders clear with the other chapters that they want to go legit all agree apart from one person. They were never meant to fall in love. But they did and well the shit hits the fan.
This is a series that I would reread again.
What I can’t deal with in certain books:
- Older woman/younger man, there was a five year age gap here, Sam was 30/Bishop 25. This didn’t bother me at all though.
- Undercover cops where it is tedious and bloody annoying. Done really well where I was rooting for them all to have a happy ending without anyone can’t their heart ripped out and trampled on.
Samantha Vargas witnessed something as a child. Something no child should ever have to see or endure. Something that has paved the road to where she is now as an adult. Samantha is an ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) agent and is given an assignment to go undercover with her partner to infiltrate the Hells Raiders MC.
Benjamin “Bishop” Malloy is a member of the Hells Raiders MC. He also works hard as a mechanic in hopes of one day opening his own shop. When he meets a new worker at his shop he realizes this new man is loyal and would be a great asset to the MC. Bishop takes this man under his wings without realizes that this guy isn’t who he claims to be.
Over the course of time Bishop struggles with his feelings for his new friends girlfriend. Their attraction to each other grows, and Samantha soon begins to realize that everything she thought about the MC world isn’t what it seems. But can she forgot her awful childhood and let her heart get in the way of taking down “violent criminals”?
**
This book contained three of my favorite things. I absolutely love MC stories, I love stories where the female character is in some kind of law enforcement agency, and I love stories where the law enforcement character "infiltrates the bad guy". So this book was the perfect trifecta of awesomeness.
When I read the two previous books I really grew to love Bishop so I was extremely excited to read his book, and Katie Ashely did not disappoint. Bishop was such an alpha, but could still be sensitive and sweet. It was the perfect balance of a male character.
LAST MILE had me laughing and then crying uncontrollably. The chemistry was electric and evident. Katie Ashely is a killer writer and I'm so extremely excited to see what she has coming next.
3.5-4 Bishop and Sam Stars
This is the third book in the series and is about the youngest of the Malloy brothers - Bishop. He is forging ahead along with his brothers to make the M.C legit. He has decided to pursue his dream of becoming a bike restorer. It is through this work that he meets Marley and his girlfriend Samantha. Bishop falls for Sam but she is off limits as she is someone else's girl. Bishop is unaware that Sam and Marley are undercover ATF agents and Marley is gay, so whilst they are best friends , there is no romantic interest and Sam is as drawn to Bishop as he is to her. Events take a turn and Sam and Bishop connect. He opens up to her and she does to him to a degree.
Finally the truth comes out and that's when the proverbial hits the fan.
I did enjoy aspects of the book but it wasn't my favourite. It's really well written and was great to catch up with other characters but I wasn't keen on Samantha. She is very alpha and independent and quite hard. I get why. Her back story is heartbreaking (and brilliantly portrayed). Also Bishop is 25 and she is 30 and that age gap felt significant. She came across as far more grown up and serious. Bishop is a sweetie underneath his badass biker persona. I felt she was too alpha for Bishop. I pictured him with someone softer.
The other characters were as entertaining as ever. So , yeah, I enjoyed it but I didn't love it like I thought I would.
Cheating? No
TROVATE LA RECENSIONE SUL BLOG: http://newadultedintorni.blogspot.it/...
Si conclude con questo libro la Vicous Cycle series, che ho amato davvero tanto. Direi che, tra quelle lette sui motociclisti, questa è sicuramente una delle mie preferite.
I tre volumi sono stand-alone, ogni volume parla di una coppia diversa, non è necessario leggere i libri precedenti per poter affrontare questa lettura, ma contiene spoiler sugli atri volumi. Quindi se avete intenzione di leggerli tutti vi conviene seguire l'ordine.
Ogni libro è su un personaggio, e ognuno è molto diverso dall'altro. Abbiamo naturalmente dei temi ricorrenti: l'amore, la famiglia, la fedeltà e la lealtà. Ogni storia è coinvolgente ma in maniera differente. Sicuramente questo è quello meno impegnativo dei tre ma per quanto mi riguarda non meno appassionante. Aspettavo Vescovo fin dal primo volume e non mi ha affatto delusa.
Benjamin "Vescovo" Malloy è il più giovane dei tre fratelli. Ci troviamo in un momento di cambiamenti per i nostri biker che vogliono uscire da tutti gli affari sporchi in cui sono coinvolti. Vescovo, felice della nuova direzione che il club sta prendendo decide di pensare al suo futuro e quindi tenta di realizzare il suo sogno che è avere una sua officina dove poter aggiustare vecchie moto. E' proprio facendo il meccanico che incontra Marley, i due diventano amici, ma insieme a lui arriva la sua fidanzata Samantha. E Sam lo fa sentire come non dovrebbe farlo sentire la donna di un suo amico...
Samantha Vargas è un agente dell'ATF e odia i motociclisti. Così, quando il suo partner entra come infiltrato nel club è più che felice di aiutarlo a far incriminare i riders di traffici illeciti di droga e armi.
Ma investigando, Sam si rende conto che non sempre le cose son quelle che sembrano e più va avanti, più conosce Vescovo e più si sente attratta da lui sia fisicamente che mentalmente. Sembrano due persone così diverse, mentre invece, molte sono le cose che li accomunano, anche del loro passato.
Ok, this one was really good too, especially that last 15-20%! I really liked watching Sam's evolution with hating bikers due to her past, too seeing the good in Bishop. I love how resilient all these characters are in this series, and that nothing will stop them from overcoming evil. I'm glad that I finally got to these after sitting on my shelf for almost 2 years.
I have enjoyed the Vicious Cycle series but I have to admit that this one seemed a little rushed. The storyline was riveting however, and I couldn’t wait to see how things turned out with all the twists and turns. Bishop was someone that I warmed to immediately in more ways than one, and I was glad that Samantha finally brought me around to liking her. All in all it’s a good story and a quick read.
Promiscuous Male Lead - WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND
I tried to see if I could move past this terrible male lead and read this book but I couldn’t. I skipped entire chapters but knew it was a losing battle @ 42%. I also couldn’t get into the storyline of the law enforcement agent female lead and the manwhore male lead. One reason is I’m not a fan of really any trope that involves law enforcement at all but also because Katie Ashley was unable to pull me in. Her writing is really crude and formulaic. This is fast terrible fiction. Ashley writes for the quick Kindle penny grab.
Che peccato! Le premesse erano buone, anzi ottime, lo spunto della trama mi intrigava facendomi presagire un'altra bella storia piena di pathos e drammi oltre che d'amore come le due precedenti (che avevo amato molto in verità), invece l'autrice ha immerso un personaggio potenzialmente favoloso in una storia insulsa e inverosimile, sviluppando malissimo la trama e raffazzonando il racconto suspense in un modo che ha fatto inorridire l'amante di storie gialle che è in me. In realtà all'incirca fino alla metà il libro non è niente male, la storia è credibile e intrigante, vieni sospinta durante la lettura dalla curiosità di sapere come l'autrice ha deciso di risolvere l'ostacolo fondamentale che si frappone alla relazione tra i due protagonisti e vuoi sapere, vuoi conoscere, non vedi l'ora di proseguire.
Vorrei averti qui per sempre Katie Ashley
Poi il plot twist che la Ashley ha scelto lascia francamente perplessi, però la storia è ancora credibile, diciamo che potrebbe accadere e ci sta, ma ecco che tutto precipita, le vicende prendono una accelerata drastica e repentina e si mettono a correre alla velocità di un Frecciarossa e tu non riesci più a stare dietro alla storia, non comprendi più perché, alcune cose non ti vengono nemmeno spiegate, e alla fine si rimane male, nonostante il lieto fine, con una strana sensazione di incompiutezza a causa della superficialità con cui l'autrice ha trattato l'ultimo 40% del libro. Ed è un peccato perché nonostante questo Vescovo è un grande personaggio, un po' spaccone e un po' cucciolo, il cocco di mamma, fratellino minore che ha grandi sogni e che invidia ai fratelli maggiori la stabilità delle loro famiglie appena formate. Vescovo è un bravo ragazzo vestito di pelle nera, vorrebbe un futuro tranquillo, una donna da amare, dei figli, ma al momento tutto quello che ha sono le moto, che ama aggiustare, la boxe, che gli serve per sfogarsi, e le donne, che usa come kleenex senza mai restare coinvolto. L'arrivo di Samantha nel suo microcosmo lo destabilizza irreparabilmente. Cresciuto nelle regole del club, il fatto di provare una tale attrazione per la donna di un compagno lo sconvolge, e solo quando saprà di avere il campo libero deciderà di approfondire la loro relazione svelandoci il suo apprezzabilissimo lato sexy. Samantha mi è piaciuta meno, all'inizio è troppo prevenuta e piena di pregiudizi, poi non ho apprezzato il suo comportamento iniziale con Vescovo, devo però ammettere che verso il finale si è riscattata ma non ha la forza dirompente di Annabel o la tenacia rassicurante di Alexandra, le due eroine che l'hanno preceduta, e alla fine è decisamente l'anello debole della coppia.
Benjamin "Bishop" Malloy is the the Sergeant at Arms for the Hells Raiders MC club, a fighter, and also has other dreams. He is loyal and dedicated to his brothers and his club, and supports their decision to go legit.
Samantha Vargas is a tough, smart, sassy ATF agent. Her past shaped her choices in life and one thing she has little tolerance for are MC clubs. But when she and her best friend/partner are sent in undercover, she finds herself involved in a life she never wanted a part of and unexpectedly attracted to the man she is supposed to be using for her investigation.
A situation occurs that changes everything, but also ends up bringing her and Bishop closer. And the more she gets to know him, the more she sees he has principles and a conscience. He does not fit her profile for a MC club member. But that also means he is confused and feels guilt and remorse even though the situation was not directly his fault.
She has her secrets and lies she is keeping. The lines between good and bad are blurred. The more she gets sucked in, she is not sure if she is in bed with the enemy or if he is really as honorable and The Raiders are as legit as he is claiming. For a woman with demons, loss, and sadness associated with MC clubs, can she be truly impartial? And when her womanly feelings begin to overshadow her need for justice or revenge, which part will win out?
I loved Bishop. He's a bit like his brother Rev in that he has honor and a moral compass, but is also like Deacon in his younger player days. He has a bit of a wild streak, but is also not afraid of being tamed. He's a strong alpha, but has a heart and conscience. He has his own dreams and plans, but is also loyal to his family and brothers. He's tough yet tender, and he's got a good sense of humor.
Sam is strong willed and determined. Her background has made her resilient, but she is also loyal and caring. She is conflicted between perception and reality. And she has to come to terms with what is most important and right in a world that is not black or white.
I loved their chemistry and their banter. They were both flirty, stubborn, and sarcastic. They came from different worlds, but also managed to find common ground. But there are secrets and lies that could destroy it all.
Bishop believes strongly in loyalty, what will happen when he finds out Sam is not who she appears to be?
And even with their desire to get out of the illegal components of MC life, some danger is harder to escape from. Can the Raiders manage the difficult last steps into becoming a truly legitimate club without succumbing to pressure, violence, or legal ramifications?
I loved getting more with Deacon, Alex, Willow, Rev, Annabel, Mama Beth, Kim, Breakneck and all of the Raiders. This is more than a club... it is a family. They stick together and love hard. I enjoyed getting to see a bit more into the future with the other couples. I like that the men are rough and tough, but also have big hearts and are protective of those they care about. The women are equally strong and able to handle the challenging men and the lifestyle.
I felt like this wrapped up this trilogy really well and tied up loose ends. This is a MC series, but at the heart of it is family. And it is not just about club business, but about close bonds, friendship, connections, and love. It has the danger, excitement, and suspense of a MC series, but also the humor, steam, romance, and drama of a contemporary romance with multi-faceted, likable characters and an interwoven story line that has kept my attention through all three books. This is a perfect series for those that want to try out a MC book, but also need to feel like the characters are real, have emotions, and have a sense of humor. I am really going to miss these characters since it feels like we have been through so much with all of them.
This review appears on Pretty Sassy Cool, too, along with a smoking hot excerpt.
Let me just start off by saying that Last Mile is my favorite book in the series so far. I ♥ Bishop!
Thirty year old ATF Agent Samantha vows revenge against the drug traffickers who were responsible for her father's death. In an undercover assignment, she finds herself in the ultimate forbidden quandary: falling for the guy she's investigating. MC biker/mechanic finds himself in over his head when he can't keep his mind (or his hands) off the new prospect's girl. Will Sam and Bishop be able to fight their attraction to each other, knowing what giving in might cost them? If they do give in (and boy, do they), will Bishop be able to forgive Sam for her deception?
So, I already said that I loved Bishop, and I mean it. He's exactly the right mix of cocky and sweet. I loved that he looked at things so differently than his brothers, and he was crazy hot. As for Sam, she was sassy and at times overbearing. I get where she was coming from, but...and this won't surprise you...I just wasn't crazy about her! She was fine, but Bishop really stole the show for me.
Bishop Mallory Last Mile by Katie Ashley
Regardless of how I felt about Samantha, Bishop sure liked her, and I loved their banter. They had great chemistry, and there were times I could literally feel the tension coming off the pages.
With a mirk, I said, "Wouldn't you love to one last time? To have me make you come like I always did."
"You should leave. Now."
"And not be a good boy and satisfy you?"
Samantha's expression was one of disgust. "I hate you. I seriously despise everything you are."
"But you still want me."
She cocked her eyebrows. "Considering the bulge in your jeans, I'd say you want me pretty bad, too, although I'm sure you hate yourself for it. Just like I do."
Yeah, I do. "I want the old Samantha--the woman who made me fall for her."
"We're the same person, you arrogant, stubborn prick!"
That was my undoing. As I crossed the room in two long strides, Samantha jumped out of her chair. We crashed together and the next few minutes were a complete blur, a tangle of lips, arms and legs.
What happens next...yeah, it's all hot. Whew!
Like I said with my review of Redemption Road, I felt like this book was too much on the MC-lite side for me. It was better than Redemption Road, but still--I guess I like MC books to be grittier. :) Also like RR, I felt the drama wasn't too overplayed, and I appreciated that. The ending was totally cliché, but I really don't have any complaints about that. I'm a romantic at heart.
The last book in the series, Last Mile will be great for those that read the other books. I love revisiting characters from other books, and I think I'll be sad to see the Mallory Brothers go. Last Mile by Katie Ashley has drama, a bit of suspense, and a crazy hot biker--you can't go wrong with that!
LA RECENSIONE COMPLETA QUI: https://thereadingslove.blogspot.it/2...
Il libro è carino, forse un po' troppo 'carico', pieno di irrealtà e a tratti pesante.
Mi aspettavo di meglio, di sentire quella scintilla che ho avvertito con i libri precedenti. Vescovo è combattuto con sé stesso, vuole la ragazza di un altro biker ed è qualcosa di assolutamente proibito. Ci saranno degli avvenimenti che cambieranno le carte sul tavolo. Purtroppo il libro all'inizio può sembrare dirompente e avvincente come gli altri ma andando avanti con la letture ci sono scene che posso essere reali fino ad un certo punto, poi si cade nell'irrealtà e nella noia. Mi spiace molto per questo terzo libro, spero che con i prossimi l'autrice si possa riscattare e ritornare in carreggiata.  Ovviamente rimane una scrittrice bravissima, piena di talento e di idee.
La lettura è piacevole e scorrevole, le scene hot sono presenti e molto molto calde. I personaggi non sono all'altezza dei precedenti purtroppo e nonostante non vedessi l'ora di conoscere Vescovo, è stato un po' una delusione. Devo ammettere che dalla trama e dalla penna dell'autrice mi sarei aspettata di più ma andiamo per gradi. Samantha è amata e stimata nel suo lavoro come agente dell'ATF, agenzia federale che combatte i contrabbandi di armi, tabacco e alcool. Quando le danno come incarico di incastrare dei motociclisti a causa delle loro attività illecite, Sam si trova in un altro mondo. Finge il ruolo della fidanzata di un suo collega, anche lui infiltrato, cosicché può entrare e uscire dal club facilmente. Samantha odia i biker da quando il padre è stato ucciso da uno di loro...
Samantha Vargas witnessed something horrific as a child that has shaped her life. She's an ATF agent and is asked to go undercover, along with her partner, to gather evidence about the Hells Raiders MC. The last thing she expects is to start having feelings for one very sexy club member.
Bishop Malloy has been part of MC for a long time now, but that's not all he's about. He boxes, fixes up cars, and one day wants to own his own motorcycle shop. He's also a very eligible bachelor. Both of his brothers are married now and Bishop never thought he wanted that until Sam blows into his life and changes the way he sees things.
They both fight the attraction, but eventually give in and when they do it's hot! However, Sam's keeping a secret that has the ability to destroy everything.
I LOVED this book! Bishop is my favorite so far. I quickly fell for him. He's sexy, cocky, and a hell of a fighter, but beneath it all he has a heart of gold. Sam is a strong woman and a great agent. Both characters were developed perfectly and the story flowed at an even pace. If you haven't read this series yet, go buy it! You're seriously missing out. I can't wait to read more about this sexy bunch of men.
This trilogy is definitely one of the best in biker romance out there.
Bishop's character is one that definitely catches your eye since you first star reading about this MC club and I knew his story wouldn't disappoint.
I started this book yesterday and I told myself I would only read a few chapters because I needed to be up early and I ended up reading more than a half of the book because I literally couldn't stop reading. The writing is wonderful and the story flows by in the blink of an eye.
I really loved the voice the author gave to Bishop, he was always the most relaxed and carefree of the brothers and it was wonderful to be inside his head and realize he had all this dreams and ambitions. And I adored Sam's character, she was such a badass loving woman, I think she had an amazing chemistry with Bishop and it was a pleasure to read about their growing romance, I liked that it was sort of a slow burn because of Gavin (I'm still not over that one) I think that made me enjoy it more.
What more can I say? It was great to get into the Riders world again and see all of our beloved characters, these bikers will be in my heart for a long time, definitely one of the best in its genre out there.
I protagonisti sono Vescovo e Samantha, V l’abbiamo già incontrato dei libri precedenti invece Sam e una poliziotta mamma mia e quasi uguali a V(non vi darò tantissimo spoiler peccato voglio che voi lo leggiate, per come l’ho amato io). Li ho amati insieme ho sofferto con loro, mi è dispiaciuto per le due perditi di Sam e sto davvero devastante per lei. Il finale è stato commovente perché chiude tutte e tre le storie insieme sono felice per Alex e Diacono, Annabel e Rev è infine loro V e Sam. Io vi consiglio tutti è stare i libri.
Of the 3 books in this series, this one is the best. However...I personally just don’t care for this series. The dialogue felt cheesy, the storyline seemed flat and predictable, and all 3 books have pretty much the same exact characters just with different names. They all start the same and they all end the same. I just found myself rolling my eyes throughout most of the book. I definitely saw improvements as I read each book, I just don’t think this series is my cup of tea 😕
Not a good installment IMO. This one wasn't anything new. I enjoyed the story lines of the previous books. This book didn't seem to have a storyline at all.
It was ok, but not interesting. I was not interested in finishing - so I did not
I may just be in the minority on this one, but… I didn’t really like the story, it didn't have that "something" that makes you want to love it. A little too slow moving for me and Sam were not very likeable. I found her, selfish, shallow, judgemental. This felt flat.
SPOILER, SPOILER
Bishop Malloy es bello, bastante tierno como Rev y decente. Sam una mujer guerrera y luchadora, que se levanto de todo lo que le paso en la vida, endurecida ella es eso!
Vimos mas de los hermanos Malloy, del club pero falto algo, no se. Lo que pasa es que la temática de ser ella una agente y la mentira no me gusto, sin embargo triunfo el amor.
Estos tres hermanos me gustaron se robaron mi corazón y Gavin también ha pesar de haber muerto.
Tres libros suaves respecto al mundo de los moteros pero llenos de amor, escenas bien calientes y personajes divertidos.
Good read but not my favorite of the three. Interesting storyline as undercover cop Samantha Vargas infiltrates the club and gets close to Bishop. A lot closer than she ever expected.
