I love the writing of this book and series as a whole. We have third person shifting POV, so we truly are getting a story as it unfolds for many characters.
My favorite thing about her writing, is I feel like how these characters converse feels like a true real conversation. It flows back and forth and they talk about real things that in my mind, a person would actually think. So many books are so robotic in their dialogue and try too hard to found “fantasy like” but Kiersten makes conversations feel so natural and you get the feel of each character’s personality in there.
As with book 1, this is HIS story…except we’re adding an extra him to the core of it this time. 😊 Viktor and Xavien bring this enemies-to-brothers vibes so well, along with each of their love stories. If you loved Xavien (or maybe had mixed feelings about him) in book 1, buckle up, and be ready to fall in love even more 🖤 and Viktor?? Ultimate book husband 💚
Things are constantly moving forward in this book and some of the reveals definitely had me gasping 🫢 and once we were jumping into the 2nd 1/2 of the book, it officially became “I’m not going to bed and staying up late to finish this book” because I couldn’t put it down 😂
We go through a rollercoaster of emotions this book too. I laughed, kicked my feet, cried, you name it.
And we get lots of spice 🌶️ and Kiersten writes some of my favorite spice of all time! It’s passionate and has true DIALOGUE, not just description. As a reader, I felt immersed in the moment, which just makes it hotter 🥵 and you feel the love these men have for their women 🖤
Thank you again for the arc of this! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s reactions to this book and hope they all love this series and characters as much as me 😊

I loved this! This was exactly the kind of romantasy that pulls me in, the combination of a dangerous world, royalty, war, dragons, destiny, and a romance that feels deeply connected to everything happening around it.
What I especially appreciated was that the romance never felt like it was simply placed on top of the fantasy story. Viktor and Amerei's relationship is tangled up in the larger conflict, their identities, their responsibilities, and the choices they have to make. Their feelings have consequences, and that made me much more invested in them.
I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the story. There is a constant feeling that something enormous is approaching, and I loved watching the characters navigate that pressure while trying to figure out what they actually want for themselves.
There were moments where I was completely absorbed in the story, and by the time I reached the end, I wasn't ready to leave this world yet.
That's always one of my favorite feelings after finishing a book. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing the story and its twists for yourself, but if you're someone who enjoys romantasy with dragons, kingdoms, romance, danger, and characters caught between love and duty, I think this is definitely worth checking out.
This was such a wonderful ARC experience for me, and I'm very glad I got the opportunity to read it early.

I am honestly amazed at the writing of this book. I am sitting here just thinking about it and how beautiful it was. The story was so well written and had me feeling all the emotions. The characters are the best! I love the found family i think the most. The love the characters have for each is my second favorite. I was so scared at times and my heart was beating fast, but then it eventually everything came together and I could breathe. If you want an amazing epic fantasy to get addicted to then I highly recommend this series!!
The magic is unique and not like others you’ve read about. And there is a war too. Reading books like this one makes me want to live in a castle in a fantasy realm!!

The Infinite Boundaries of Love ….
WOW , this book is absolutely amazing!! These beloved characters have come together in yet another spellbinding masterpiece that I can’t wrap into words that do it the true essence of just how good it is. Viktor and Amerei , Xavien and Selene I’m speechless. Even better than the first book the bonds that have developed now are strong and unshakable and you will not soon forget this story and all that this author gives you to take into your heart with them . I cannot wait for the next book , this book is one for the ages , definitely a must read .

I was very excited to be an advance reader for A Realm on Fire! Trotter’s sophomore effort, book 2 in The Endowment series, is FABULOUS!! Viktor, Amerie, Xavien, Gabriel and the cast from book 1 are joined by awesome new characters you will LOVE to meet! The characters advance with experiences that rock their lives and world. The pacing is perfect, you feel the story in your bones as you face the dangers waiting for the characters. I love these characters more now than book 1 and honestly can not wait for book 3! Get reading - you will have spent your time well!

The first book in this series captured my heart! Kiersten Trotter surpassed the first book with the second one and I’m officially in love with this amazing series! Oh these men!! The women are amazing, but oh these gorgeous men!!! Oh my heart! I loved these books and can’t wait for the third installment!! Way to go Kiersten!

Rollercoaster of emotions!
I loved book 1 but this is amazing! All of the characters are so well written and you care about them so much! A great story and I cried so many tears but once again I love that the author did not leave us with a big cliffhanger! Their story could end here and I would be very happy!! Well worth the read!

I loved the first part of the Endowment and I was not disappointed with the second. The character developments, the love and family throughout..amazing cannot wait for book 3

I absolutely love this book. It is just as good if not better than the first book. Can’t wait to continue on with the story. I have fallen in love with all of the characters.

This had laughs, tears and a couple of don't you dares. Highly recommend reading the series in order. Victor is still my favourite.

The world building that was brought to the readers in book one only broadened significantly.
Characters returned, which I was over the moon about! Viktor and Amarei are such a beautiful couple. We were also lucky enough to meet someone new!
The magic systems are otherworldly yet somehow incredibly tangible in thought. I very quickly found myself completely immersed. The writing is multisensory!
Ms. Trotter's books have amazing, beautiful, poetic prose. I never seem to tire of reading her combination of words.
A round of applause and a standing ovation to the author for this beautiful, sensual, exciting, pulse-racing book!!
