There is one type of book I will always, always love. These type of books put a huge smile on my face and quench all my reading desires. The brother’s best friend books gives you unrequited love, forbidden love and typically the sweetest conclusion. So naturally when I was approached to read Our Moon I jumped at the opportunity and I am super glad I did.

Our Moon isn’t your typical friends to lovers or brother’s best friend book. The story begins with us meeting Ally and she has just woken up from a yearlong coma after being involved in a horrible accident that took her parent’s lives. Obviously there is reason to celebrate, but that gets lost in the fact she has amnesia.

Just know that I feel the same way you do, I care about you so much. I don’t want to lose you. I can’t lose you.

Part One of the story is told from Ally’s POV as she begins to find herself and put her life back together. I really felt for Ally. I can’t imagine waking up and feeling completely alone. She only knows what people tell her and she has to put all her trust in her two brothers. I love how Ally felt a connection toward Chase, her brothers' best friend, from the beginning, like her soul knew him.

Part Two which is told from Chase’s POV and allows us to see the events prior the accident. This side of the story felt like your regular brother’s best friend book. There was friends to lovers moments and plenty of forbidden love. I loved getting to see Chase’s feelings and how things developed.

I love how we got to see both sides of the story and the way Jennifer wrote it is so creative, breaking the story into two parts was the only way we could see the Ally pre-accident. In the end the story felt complete. I feel like I got an opportunity to know and love the characters. I was able to feel empathy towards their situation and found myself cheering for them. Their love may have come easy in the beginning, but there was so much to overcome in brining them coming back together. This story was a sweet, emotional read and I truly enjoyed it.

This was a cute story. I loved Ally and Chase and them as a couple. It's amazing how love can be found, even through amnesia. It's a great fun read. The only thing not believable to me, is a 26 year-old male virgin.

I don't care what he saw as a child - hormones would have taken over and there would have been at least 1 or 2 women/girls who's pants he would have gotten into. I do believe that he would have waited for Ally, not moving on and hoping that she would come back to him.

Can't wait to read another book by my awesome author friend Jennifer L. Allen! :)

Our Moon is a lovely, sweet romance by a debut author. While it may have some technical issues common among new writers, it's still a heartwarming story and knows how to evoke emotions. Ally's family and brothers are a colorful world that you just want to know and be apart of. Hopefully we will get more of them in future books. I struggled with how the book ended, but it's still a fun read and I enjoyed it overall.

Their moon! Ally and Chase are absolutely perfect together!
The blurb does sound a little weird, amnesia, seems a little farfetched, but let me tell you, I am so glad I read this!

Dual POV, first part is Ally, near the end is Chase.

Ally has just woken up from her coma and has amnesia. Her parents died in the car accident she was in. This starts off to where she’s going to live with her brothers after months of therapy. Trevor, the oldest, and Alex, her twin, older by four minutes. I love these two! I don’t have a twin, but the way she describes it, makes it feel real.

When we first meet them, you can already tell her brothers care a lot, but don’t want to overwhelm her, and even though she doesn’t have her memories, she already feels safe with them.

They’re part of a band, JACT, that she named, and grew up with, even the other members: Joey and Chase.

Oh Chase, when she sees him again, she feels the natural pull that she can’t seem to remember, but doesn’t deny it. You can feel her struggling to remember and you know something was there between them, you just don’t know how or what. I did figure it out pretty soon, but how it got that way, I wanted to know.

You do find out when it becomes Chase POV near the end. And if you thought you loved Chase before, you’ll love him even more.

And when the accident happened, you know it’s coming, but the pain they were all feeling still hits you like you didn’t know.

If you want a sweet romance, this is one of those!

Side note, love it when the title makes sense! Squeeee!

This gets 4 PIGGIES!!

I went into this story blind, I hadn't read any sort of reviews, just the synopsis. And I'm so glad I read this because I really enjoyed this story. While this is a new adult romance, the way it's approached is different then what I've read before, and I think that's what I liked most about the book.

The book is broken down into two parts: Ally learning to adjust now that she's out of her year-long coma with no memory of her past, after the tragic accident she was in along with her parents. The fact that she's now post-coma is a wonderful thing, but that is constantly tempered with the knowledge of her amnesia and everything she's lost. And while she seems to be in good hands with her brothers and their band mates, there is something extra special about her interactions and friendship with Chase.

The second half of the book is told from Chase's point of view, but it takes place a year before the accident. It feels like other brother's best friend/off-limits romance stories, but the added bonus is that we get to see the two sides of Ally in this story. I loved watching their relationship unfold and grow, because they had to deal with obstacles you rarely see in romance stories. The conclusion is just what you're looking for, but the epilogue just might be the clincher! I am happy to say that I truly enjoyed Ms. Allen's story and I'm looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

I really enjoyed reading Our Moon. It was a sweet and clean book that I could not put down once I started it!

Ally has been in a coma for a year and when she wakes up she doesn't even remember her own name, let alone the fact that both of her parents are dead and that she has two brothers. One who is her twin at that. I cannot even imagine this happening, it would be so sad and scary to wake up and not know who you are even a little. With the help of her brothers and their bandmates Ally tries to navigate her "new" life.

This is also where Chase enters the picture. Chase is her older brother's best friend and a part of the band. Ally is attracted to him instantly and notices him noticing her. There are certain parts in this book that make it easy to connect the dots but I can see why Ally doesn't. When it all comes full circle though things get complicated.

I really liked the way this way done in parts, too. It is usually a hit or miss but in this case it worked and was nice to see the different POVs in this way. Part One is after the accident, while Part Two is the before.Chase was a great hero and I really liked him, he was unexpectedly a sweet guy. This book did cause me to get a little teary eyed at some points so maybe have some tissues!

Kudos to Jennifer L. Allen for creating an amazing story that can and will appeal to such a wide range of audience.

I immediately fell in love with all the characters. They each stood out in a unique way that drew me in. Their relationships, the banter, the playfulness, the family bond. I think many people will relate to the characters and their relationships.

This story has two parts. I definitely loved reading Ally's POV first. I feel like I was able to appreciate and feel the emotion more in Chase's story knowing the aftermath ahead of time.
If I'm being honest, Chase's story pulled at my heart strings and had me crying. Even though I knew what to expect, I was still on edge bc I didn't know the details or what the reactions would be.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book, it flowed nicely, and kept me interested from start to finish. I read it in one day, that is how much I loved it. I'm very excited about this author and cant wait to see what she releases next!

I should start off saying that I am not one to read sweet stories. I tend to lean towards the dark and mysterious books. However, I am so glad I went out of my norm to read Our Moon. It's a heartwarming, sad and beautiful story told in a unique way. I loved the story and adored the characters. I felt so many different emotions while reading Our Moon. I was amazed at myself when I felt chocked up at times. This book has changed my mind on reading only dark stories... Thanks to Jennifer Allen I have found another genre to love! Fantastic job!

Our Moon was an original storyline that grabbed hold of me on page one and never let me go. My emotions were all over the place and tears were shed as Ally struggled to remember her past and face an unknown future. Very well written story of love, loss, and everything in between.

4.5 out of 5 stars

There are times when this is just the sort of book my heart needs to read and one look at the blurb and I know that I am feeding my soul just what it was looking for. Because this is an honest no holds barred romance – one that will refuse to let you go and will from page women have you tied to your kindle/e-reader/book – whatever – you will not be able to put it down.

Survivor of a devastating accident that killed both her parents – Ally has fought back from deaths door and is now after 12 months she is beginning to take the tiny, tiny steps needed to rebuild her life.

The book is told in two parts so to speak and from two distinctive points of view – both of which you really need to hear.

Ally’s POV is of course told in reflection of everything after the accident and it was an evocative read. The fact that she was now out of her coma and doing what she could to move on, was brought to life so exquisitely but I was so sad that she couldn’t remember her brothers. The pain that I could pick up almost behind each word was so intense, I really felt for what she had been through.

But they were in it together and along with the guys that were in the band with her brothers, when she went home they all began their quest to help Ally remember who she was.

To help her build her new life.

The guys were family – almost blood really they had been together so long – they had supported each other while Ally was ill and they were almost ready to make the big time, they had their deal and were on the road so to speak – but could this normality shake her memories free from the cloud they were hiding behind – they could only cross their fingers and hope.

Could she remember what she had, had before?

Would her soul remember who she loved and who loved her?

Could she see the man who was slowly, desperately hoping that this woman would give him his heart back when she remembered how much she meant to him?

Chase was in the band and it is his story that is told in the second half of the book and his POV gutted me. It was told from before the accident and it had me in tears and more than a little ready to throw in the towel.

I knew where the story was going because Ally’s present POV had already clued me in on that but when I got a good look at the before and after I couldn’t help but be blown away by not only the ingenuity of the author but the emotional fortitude that she bestowed on her characters – this books was a breath of fresh air and a beautiful story told with the deftest of touches.

But before I go I have to say that I hope that we get to hear more of the other guys – Alex and Trevor her brothers were truly brothers that she could be completely proud of, they loved her without exception and I was so sad for what they had gone through, not only losing their parents but fighting so hard to save their sister. And well Joey – (and his wife) who while maybe not super prominent in the book – they too were fab! I can see a tale or two to come from those guys.

But overall I have to say that I loved the humour and charm that flowed. The banter was laugh out loud funny at times but the connection and relationship that they shared was special and I would absolutely love to read more from them all.

For a new author Jennifer L. Allen let me start by saying she writes like a seasoned author. "Our Moon" flowed, with developed characters and descriptive writing. She easily keeps the reader engrossed in the story.

I will try to review without being a spoiler.

This book centers around a young girl, Ally Monroe, who has her life completely ripped from her but in a way she is not aware of it.... she has amnesia. After a horrible accident she ended up in a coma while her brothers (Trevor and Alex) are left devastated, and one of them is her twin. They grieve the loss of their parents all the while holding their breath waiting for Ally to wake up. A year later she does, but has no idea who they are or who she is and learns to cope... she finally returns to their home and has to relearn who she is and hoping that she remembers who she was. Not only does she have the support of her brothers but also her "other brothers" who are members of the band the boys started.

The band members Joey and Chase, have always been there and were considered family by Monroes. A lot has happened while she was "away" The band got a record deal and even toured (while being able to return if she woke).
But even though she doesn't remember who she was will it still come back to her naturally? If you are so completely in love before can that love with that person return? If it's meant to be can someone find their way back? Will it happened naturally because it was ALWAYS supposed to be? If you were naturally gifted with something will that come back?

These are the questions you find yourself asking, and are slowly revealed. The author Jennifer L. Allen keeps you glued to the book, and invested in each character. I read it in one day, sacrificing sleep because I couldn't put it down.

"Our Moon" will makes you giggle, feel sad and believe in true love.... you will swoon too. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your hidden talent of story telling, I hope you have another story dying to be let free!!

There was something different about this book, it wasn’t my normal “Friends to Lovers” or “Second Chance Romance”. This book put my heart at ease. Our Moon was more than just words, you felt for the characters. I am so glad Jennifer reached out to me to review this book, I will be forever thankful for her doing just that.
Our Moon starts off about meeting Ally, as she just woken from a year long coma after a horrible car crash that took the lives of both parents. Since Ally has woken you would think it would be time for her celebrate, time for her to grieve, but Ally can’t remember anything, she has amnesia.

The first half or so of the story we get to know more about Ally, we get to go on her journey of trying to piece together what her life was, as she can’t remember who she is, or what she has done. She falls into a pit of feeling alone, and uncertain. I really felt for Ally. I could never imagine waking up and not knowing anything about myself, nor the fact people walking on egg shells because I might remember a vague situation and start having anxiety.

The other half of the read is about Chase’s POV. You are going through a journey of knowing who Ally was before the accident. with going through the journey it felt like a brother’s best friend romance type read. They was friends to lovers, and forbidden love. I enjoyed watching Chase’s feelings come out to play, and how everything worked out.

Jennifer Allen done an amazing job with this story. It was a lot different from the traditional reads, and gave an in-depth thinking on the lives of Ally and Chase. The way the story is wrote, so you grow with the characters, they mold as you keep reading. This story was an emotional, but magical read to me, and I can say I completely enjoyed it. The end of the book is what hit it home, I enjoyed the epilogue. The epilogue is what made this book a 5 Crazy Our Moon Stars!

Our Moon is a young adult contemporary romance following Ally who has amnesia after waking up from a year-long coma. The story is written and divided into two parts from two different perspectives. The first part follows Ally as she deals with her amnesia, and how it affects the people around her especially her family. It also shows Ally having to struggle with memory loss and endless of questions.

Ally is a very likeable and strong character. I liked how she dealt with her situation. She was persistent and curious about her life before the accident. I liked how she tried to communicate with the people around her. There were times when she broke down, and I enjoyed seeing these various sides to her. She was refreshing.

The second part follows the perspective of Chase before the accident happened. I'm not going to delve into too much details here since it'll be spoiling you. But I did have some difficulties getting into the later part because I really liked Ally and having that switch was a little hard to adapt. However, I did enjoy the different perspective as I got to know Chase a little bit more. He is a very understand and sweet guy. He was always supportive of Ally since he first appeared in the novel.

This story had a set of great characters with fun dialogues. It was written really well and I enjoyed reading about them. Despite that, there were some issues with the story. I had a lot of questions especially during the years that weren't written around the last part of the story. Because of that, the last chapter seemed to end in a rush. It was expected and predictable, but I wasn't prepared for it.

In a whole, this was a well written story with depth. I enjoyed it and would recommend this book for anyone looking for a sweet romance.

REVIEWER: DAWN

This book is told in two parts. The first part is from Allys POV The second is from Chase’s POV but taks place before Allys accident and some after. Ally has just woken up from a coma, after an accident she has lost the last year of her life not remembering anything before. Her parents died in the accident so she leaves hospital in the care of her two brothers, one of them her twin.Ally tries to remember her life before, tries to rebuild her life and move on.Chase Baker, hes her brothers best friend and the guitarist of her brothers band,Ally is drawn to Chase and he to her,but why?Her brothers and the band try to help and guide Ally on the difficult road ahead of trying to remember who she is,her life and her family. Chases Pov is an emotional rollercoaster,my heart broke for him as he was waiting in the wings praying Allys memories would return.Hes kind caring and determined to be there for Ally. Can Ally and Chase build a future together or are there things shes yet to remember from her past that could jeopardize that? This is a sweet easy read with characters I loved and connected to from the start I love how Stephanie split the book into two halves, which is different from the way ive read before but very refreshing!!This is the author debut book and she has done a fantastic job. There isn’t any red hot passion page after page but too be honest this story doesn’t need it,its more about a young woman trying to rebuild her shattered life and face the future but also finding strength courage and love from those around her.Its not reaching for the tissues there are some really funny moments too and you can see and feel the relationships they have all built with one another.I really enjoyed this read and cant wait to see what this new author comes up with next.

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless book chics ramblings and reviews

How would you feel if you woke up one day and didn’t even know your own name? This is exactly what happened to Ally. After being in a coma for a year following a tragic car crash which killed her parents, she has amnesia and knows nothing about the 18 years of her life before the accident or who her friends and family are. Ally doesn’t know who she is anymore and has to rely on her oldest brother Trevor and twin brother Alex to fill in the blanks for her.

Moving back to her family home, her brothers try to ease her back into her old life, letting her rediscover things about herself on her own as much as possible so that she learns to be herself, rather than try to be the old “Ally” that everyone else remembers.

Her brothers are part of the rock band, JACT and the guitarist Chase, lives above their garage. Chase makes Ally feel things she didn’t expect to and while she’s trying to discover what these feelings could mean, she can’t help but feel that there is something in her past that could jeopardise what she has with him and bit by bit, she tries to put all the pieces together.

I really loved this story. It was heart warming, romantic and sweet, the perfect summer read to make you feel good. My favourite quote from the book is: “I promise baby girl. As long as we’ve got our moon, we’ll have each other”. This will make sense once you read the book and you will love these 2 characters as much as I did. This was a fantastic debut novel from Jennifer!

Jennifer Allen has created a refreshing and interesting tale with her book, OUR MOON. A young adult tale, it follows the lives of Ally, her twin Alex, older brother Trevor and friends Chase and Joey, as they navigate the difficult roles of adulthood that is thrust upon them with the deaths of Ally, Alex and Trevor's parents.

The plot is a simple one, the standard boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back story with a twist. It's the twist that gives us the uniqueness of the story. Ally is faced with a seemingly impossible task of moving on with a life she has no memory of, thanks to a car accident and resulting coma. Jennifer Allen uses first person narration from Ally and Chase's point of view to tell the story, with Ally telling the story of waking up from her coma and the events that follow and Chase telling the story from before Ally's accident, during her coma and parts after. It's a well-done technique that kept me reading.

The supporting characters were well-written. Alex and Joey are fun as is Joey's wife Evie. Their parts don't overpower the story and add just enough to fill in blanks. I found myself wanting to know more about Joey and Evie's romance since they seemed so devoted to each other after what is described as a whirlwind courtship.

But most of the story centers around Chase and Ally and their romance, discovering their love and then rediscovering it later. The heat is low in this tale since it's not the romance but the discovery of a lost life and love that takes center stage here.

I highly recommend OUR MOON as a pleasant change of pace.

Our Moon by Jennifer L Allen

4 Stars

I can’t imagine what it would be like to forget everything and everyone, but that’s how it was for Ally when she woke up from a year-long coma with amnesia. Life will never be the same again as she learns that both her parents are dead and she now has to live in an unfamiliar world with total strangers.

Our Moon is a touching and emotional story about a young girl, Ally, and her brothers, Trevor and Alex, and is split into two parts. Part one is from Ally’s POV and is post accident, part two is from Chase’s POV (friend to and member of her brothers Rock Band, JACT) and spans the year leading up to, and including the accident. I liked the way this was done since part one left us with questions about what had happened prior to Ally’s amnesia that were answered by Chase in part two. I think the order of the telling was an interesting way of drawing the reader in and developing an empathy for the characters in a way that would perhaps not have happened if written in chronological order, so kudos to the author for that ingenuity.

Jennifer’s writing style is smooth and makes for an easy to read novel that I could not put down so completed in one sitting. The content was mostly believable except for one small thing about Chase that didn’t ring true for me, him being 26 years old at that point, but I suppose in the mind of a writer anything is possible! I would recommend ‘Our Moon’ to all romance lovers.

Ally & Chase have a wonderful love story that the author portrayed oh, so well! I loved the way the story was told even though I knew Chase was Ally’s mystery guy early in the novel (without doubt).

Ally’s amnesia is not the main focus of the book. Don’t get me wrong, obviously it’s a very key component, but for me it was much more about the story unfolding and her finding the love she wanted with Chase.

The fact that Chase is in a band with both of her brothers and best friends with the oldest brother made for quite the problem in trying to have a relationship. Chase was such a gentleman and I enjoyed watching their new relationship take flight.

Chase is my new book hero. He fought so hard for Ally through the entire book. I knew almost immediately that they’d been together but he was so great about not pressuring her. While reading part 1 (Ally’s POV), I knew he was a good guy and that he was trying his best to do right by Ally...even reading some books on amnesia and trying to help her cope with the problems her memory caused her. BUT reading part 2 where Chase started the story with their budding relationship before the accident was beyond emotional for me. I felt like the story really came alive as he was telling us about their love story --- and the author flowed it into the novel so well.

I also felt like the novel ended perfectly. Just a wonderful book that I highly recommend to everyone.

I loved Our Moon. Is there really anything else to say? It's really well written, and in a way that I found unique and interesting. I like the two different points of view used to fill in the blanks and give the full sense of what's going on. I found myself completely tangled up in their relationship from the beginning. I loved watching Ally heal and hurt for her when she got overwhelmed. The relationship between her and her brothers was very realistic and entertaining to watch.

My only real complaint is that I felt the ending went a little fast. I see this a lot (and am TOTALLY guilty myself) authors get really excited when it's finally time to end the book after so much hard work and love that they get a little excited and rush it. But, even that isn't too bad or too fast, but I would've liked to have seen a little more meat in the end, as there was plenty in the rest of the book. But not too much. I also loved how it wasn't drug out with a lot of excess, but stuck to the story line.

I was most excited that this is a book about rock stars that wasn't an erotic novel! It might be just me, but every book I've read that centers around musicians is full of sex, drugs and parties. This one really isn't. And that was so refreshing!

Overall I was thoroughly impressed and look forward to Jennifer's next book.

I don't usually read YA, not that I haven't, I just tend to stick to my erotica reads but after being contact by this author to read/review her book and reading the blurb, I couldn't say no. I was just coming off a book hangover and needed something light and easy. This book is that and so much more. Sweetness, innocence, beauty, tragedy and love all wrapped up in this beautiful book. Mrs. Allen reminds me of Colleen Hoover, the ability to write a romance book without the smut and yet the book still leaves an impression is applauded. The story line is realistic, the characters are lovable and there's an HEA <--A must have for me. Both main characters are allowed their time to shine and share their sides of how they fell in love.
This is one of those stories that I can't really give my take on due to my fear that if I do, then I might give too much away and I really try to leave my reviews spoiler free, unless there's something that might trigger something bad. The synopsis is pretty spot on, so I'll leave it to Mrs. Allen and hopefully my review, to draw you in.
What I will say is that Allyson Monroe and Chase Baker's story is heart warming and heart breaking but every turmoil they go through just shows how much they are meant to be together.
I truly believe and hope you will love this story as much as I did!

I really liked this book, was a reading surprising, exciting, fun, with a sweet and clean love story. It 's written very well, with a fast and flowing pace, so addictive that I could not put it down.
Ally had a terrible car accident with her parents: they are dead and she was in a coma for a year. When she wakes up she has amnesia and does not remember anything. Her twin brother Alex and her older brother Trevor help and support her. Her brothers are part of a band and the other two components are very close to Ally, especially Chase. They are very affectionate, patient, available and Ally knows she can trust and be open with them. But when her past begins to emerge this idyll risks to end forever.
All the characters are lovely and realistic: I really liked the relationship between Ally and her brothers and other members of the band, perfect the chemistry between Chase and Ally. Chase is the Ideal boyfriend: beautiful, very sweet, helpful, sensitive, full of attention towards the girl.
It is narrated by two protagonists in the first person, the first part by Ally and the second by Chase: this choice has made reading more engaging, it was easier to get in tune with them, feel their pain, their discomfort, Ally's the confusion and frustration.
I look forward to more books by Jennifer L. Allen
I recommend it to those who love romance.

Our Moon was my first read by Jennifer L Allen and I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I really enjoyed reading her debut book. The story is told in alternating PoV’s from Ally Monroe who loses her memory and what she means to swoon worthy Chase Baker. I was so glad the author allowed the reader to get inside Chase’s thoughts as it made me fall more in love with his character. Chase is so sweet, I felt connected to his pain and it was so easy to understand his actions and views on love.

Amnesia themed romance books are one of my favourite genres to read about, and Our Moon provided me with my fix of a new love thrown into the depths of being lost and kept me turning the pages to see if that love would ever reawaken and be claimed. This is an emotional journey for not just the heroine and hero as they deal with past memories and where that leaves them in the present, but for the secondary characters as well as they deal with so much more. The writing style was great, sweet, funny, heart-warming and easy to read despite the subject matter as it wasn’t heavy on my emotions. I can’t express how much I truly loved Ally’s siblings Trevor and Alex, they made reading this book that much more enjoyable with their hilarious banter and how much they loved their sister Ally. I was left with the feeling of not wanting to part from Ally and Chase...

Weird structure and narration

The story is not bad, I've been interested in amnesia goir a while so that's why I bought this book. And of course because I'm quiite fond of the whole borther's best friend thing.
The first thing I noticed, the narration was design for the reader to feel everything is happening right now at this moment. Everything is in present time. I just couldn't get into it tho. It was weird.
The structure is also weird and left me confused for a few times. The first half of the book is present time, Ally's POV, when Ally wakes up and goes home. And the second half is in the past, in Chase's POV, and takes place in the past when things start to happen. And the end of the book (about 10%) is either Ally or Chase talking. It's not a really good setting because I forgot what happened in the first half of the book by the time I finished the second part.
Chase kept calling Ally baby girl in every fcng sentence and this is something that makes me mad every time I encounter with it in a book. It's like the author wants to freaking wash my mind to think they are so in love they always have to say each other's sweet and cute nickname. It's infuriating since I would go mad if someone called me by my name or nickname in every damn sentence of his. Reality-check authors, please!
The story is not bad tho, just a little unrealistic.

What an amazing romantic love story. The story is about two souls trying to find each other. They finally locate each other and then get lost and have to find each other again. You will laugh, cry, smile, and just love this book as you read it. The story is told in 2 parts first Ally’s and then Chase’s.

Ally and her parents were driving to Ally’s friend Lucy’s house the night of her high school graduation. A drunk driver runs them off the road and her parents were killed. Ally hit her head really hard and ended up in a coma for over a year. When she woke up she had amnesia. Her twin brother Alex and older brother Trevor are there to help her.

Ally’s pov is filled with her finding herself all over again. Trying to remember the memories that are trapped inside of her. But it is also filled with funny banter between her, her brothers, and the band.

Chases’s pov is heartbreaking you will feel it tug at your heart more than once so definitely grab some Kleenex.

The author pulls you in right from the first page and at the end you are left wanting more and more. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read what she has coming up next.

I enjoyed this debut book by Jennifer L. Allen. The story was charming and sweet and, had a beautiful HEA. The main character Ally was in a terrible car accident where she lost her parents, but when she wakes from her coma a year later, she has amnesia and does not have any idea what happened. She does not remember her twin brother, older brother, or their bandmates. After returning home from the rehab center, she finds herself anxious to remember who she used to be, and also finds herself drawn to Chase, her older brothers best friend and band mate. During the second part of the book written in Chase's POV, we learn she has very good reason to feel drawn to him. He is kind, loving, patient beyond words, and a man who will wait as long as it takes for her to remember.....I read this quickly and feel it is a wonderful read that will leave your heart happy and renew your faith that there are still sweet and sexy BBF's out there! I will definitely check out another book by this author when it comes out!

I love any book that can hold my attention through the whole book and make me cry (ugly cry), and that is exactly what Our Moon did.

I absolutely loved Ally and Chase. I knew where their story was leading, not the details, but I kinda guessed and usually when I find a book that is so predictable I usually don't finish with it, but miss Jennifer L. Allen had me wanting to soak up every detail. I also completely adored the rest of the characters. Alex, Ally's twin, and Trevor, their older brother, were just so sweet, funny, and supportive of Ally and it broke my heart not only with how much she struggled but also how much THEY did right along with her. oh and we cannot forget about Joey and his wife who were not really big characters but were just as awesome.

This is mostly told from All's POV, but there is a big chunk told from Chase's POV. It hooked me from the beginning and had me holding on through till the end. This book has a HEA, no cliffhangers, and amazing characters.

RATING: 4 STARS

I love rock stars, and I love sweet love stories. When I had the chance to read a book that combined the two without the super-smut story along with it? I had to read it. And I am so glad that I did.

This book is written in multiple POVs, which provide an intriguing and engaging read as we watch Ally suffer from amnesia, and recover from the accident that brought this on. She is guided by her brothers, Alex and Trevor, and the relationships between the three were spot-on and very realistic. It isn't long before Ally starts to feel herself pulled toward a band mate of her brothers'- Chase. What can we say as hopeless romantics? Sometimes the soul just knows, even if your head can't remember why.

I strongly recommend picking up this book. It lured me in, kept me going and the feelngs I had while I read were just perfect. Jennifer L. Allen has provided an amazing read that is fit for any age, and I will probably tell my Mom she needs to read it. Now.

I was given a free copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

The Good
This was a sweet contemporary love story. While Ally can't remember much from her past, you can't help but root for her and Chase to get together - even before you discover there was already something between them before the accident.

The Bad
The dual personalities threw me off at first. Not in a bad way, but it was something I had to get used to. When reading books with multiple POVs, I'm used to it flip-flopping throughout the entire book. This one was kind of split into two parts, where each part was a different POV. It was good, but different.

The Review
Overall, I love the way the love story between Ally and Chase builds both before and after the accident. I like that after the big revelation about their relationship, it doesn't all just come together as a big ol' happily-ever-after. They have to work on their relationship to make it work.

I absolutely LOVE new authors and have been blown away by many debut books. This one was no exception. I was drawn in to the story instantly & it was so beautiful. Love, loss and second chances. Wow...and the cover with the moon...breathtaking. Seriously I started this book last night & just finished this morning and loved it so much. Ally, Alex, Trevor, Chase, Joey, Mr. & Mrs. Monroe....they each held a little piece of my heart through the story & that's when you know you've found a good author. They draw you in with their words, make you see & feel the story through each page. For a brand new author & her very first book....bravo Jennifer L. Allen! I'm honored you asked me to read & review for you and I hope to read many more books by you in the future!

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for beautiful storyline, well written, lovely characters & heart warming read ❤️
