This is an amazing heartfelt book. Cora was broken, weighed down by guilt, regret, and disparity but Brady saved her. Not in the physical sense, he knew what she needed without her opening her mouth. He was her rock, her salvation, her growth. His omission and presences helped mend a strained relationship with her father. I allowed her to accept the past and get help.
This book was so many things but most of all it was a healing mechanism. You "Almost Never" get a second change or get over depression that is bedded in you but know there is always hope. Brady was Cora's hope, her light, her balm. This was my first Britni Hill book and it was amazing.
