The theme of this story is about the how to never give up and try harder. For example he Michael thought he was gonna be on the varsity but the coach picked someone esle so at the end of the season Michael Played and trained to get on the varsity Basketball team. The next season the coach told Michael that he was on the varsity team he was happy that he completed his one of his goals.
This book is biography about Michael Jordan and his career. Its a factual book about Michael Jordan. The facts on the book helps me understand about his life more.
Michael Jordan is a very good basketball and is one of the best at the game. Michael Jordan had some ups and downs in his high school days he never gave up until he succeed. He set records in the NBA He won 6 rings . He also became a Pro MLB player for the Chicago White Socks.
The story takes place in New York,North Carolina, Chicago, and Washington. Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn New York and went to college at North Carolina. Once he got drafted to the NBA he was chosen by the Chicago Bulls where he had great success After the Bulls he went to the MLB to play for the Chicago white Sox the he came back to the NBA to play for Chicago He retired From the Chicago Bulls Then came out off retire and Played for the Washington Wizards for 2 years..
In this autobiography by David Pietrusza we learned about Michael Jordan and his road to success on the basketball court and his legacy.
This Book reminds me of another basketball player Kobe Bryant another elite basketball player who still to this day plays for the Los Angeles Lakers Went through some of the Same Things that Michael Jordan went through he had also had his ups and downs and is one of the best basketball player right now.
Michael Jordan won six NBA championships and all six Championships were with the Chicago Bulls. I would recommend this book to somebody who loves the game of basketball and is a big fan of Micheal Jordan.

"Michael Jordan" is a book bout Michael Jordan life and how his life changed from being almost a miscarriage and a hard life to a big super star in the MLB and the NBA. He was very successful in both.
He started out in the NBA then after that he quit to go play for the White Sox in the MLB and then after a few years in the MLB, he went back to the NBA back the the bulls the team he played
for before he left. ten when he came back to the NBA he wasn't ask good as he was before. He came out being a little bit rusty, but after 6 games he got his edge back. But when Michael and his older brother was little and as kids his older brother use to beat Michael all the time in basketball Michael never had a chance against him. But on thing that Michael did get a chance to do is get better by playing against someone older.
All threw his life he was very successfully of everything that he did. He had a great family to stand besidew him in no madder what he did and help him throw his life. Micheal's mom was at every single game that he had even if it was baseball or basketball she was there.
He set many records in the NBA and still has them til this day. He won 6 NBA champ ships with the bulls. But at the end of it all Michael has set many record and had 6 rings on his fingers. He was also a good person inside and out. So I recommend this book very well for someone like me or athlete or a big fan of Michael Jordan. I give it a big 5 stars.

As a rookie, he was all ready an all star and won the Rookie Of The Year Award in the 1984-1985 season. When Michael was a little kid, he loved the game of baseball and he wanted to play in the MLB, but once he found the game of basketball, he immediately fell in love with it. Michael Jordan averaged 30.4 points a game, 5.3 assists per game, .83 blocks per game, and won 6 national championships with the Chicago Bulls.
I think people should read this book because this gives people motivation to do better in life because Michael Jordan, born and raised in North Carolina, was so motivated to play the game of basketball, and one year,he was cut by his high school team, and this motivates people to never give up. I think people with in the age of 8-18 should read this book, because this is the age where most people are interested in sports.

This book about Michael Jordan reflected his career on ad off the court. It showed how dedicated he was to the sport of basketball but also how he felt with loss and turned it in to something great. Everybody know Michael Jordan as just the basket ball player and the 6 time champ. But many people didn't know the reason why he played baseball I didn't until I read this his dad was killed so he did what his dad always wanted him to do play baseball. But he came back to basketball and had another 3-peat.

Michael was not always great, he struggled to make his high school team. By his junior year he sprouted quickly to 6'3. Then onto college, NBA, and MLB grew to 6'6. Michael ended up being a great with an additional 3 championships coming out of retirement ending up with 6. I think this book is a lot more than a biography. The book shows Michael's perseverance and determination to succeed.
I recommend this book to boys 5th grade and up who are interested in basketball and enjoy a great success story.
