Where Legends Fall picked right up where book 1 Where Nightmares Walk left off. The story drops you in the aftermath of mayhem and devastation. This book takes a scientific twist to the book of revelations as we see what a futuristic version of the apocalypse would look like. The seamless blend of science and magic takes you on a nonstop adventure. There are characters you love and ones you love to hate. I loved the revelation of who some characters from the previous book turned out to be. The new characters were refreshing and gave a very dark and gritty world a bit of levity. I enjoyed the pacing and world building. If you like sci fi, dystopian, apocalyptic chaos, this book is for you.

I had the privilege of receiving an advance copy to read.
Phineas Delgado dazzles and delights with his sophomore novel.
You are thrown right back into the action with the grumpy old man and his grumpier older dog. As the adventure continues, the twists and turns are heightened and even more perilous; to put it simply, Phineas has outdone himself in this sequel.
This book is now available where all fine books are sold, and this time, hummus has been included.

I don't have words for how much I love this series. The story itself is compelling and captivating. The writing is on a whole different level. The author has a particular talent for weaving in unexpected details that become significant later. The action scenes get your heart racing like you're right in the middle of it all. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
