This was the perfect ending for the series. Preston and Lena met under very difficult circumstances and have gone through so much and deserve to move on from their past.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!
This was one kick ass ending to a kick ass series! I loved that it was in Preston's POV and I got to know him better. I love how Preston & Lena's story played out. It was so unexpected how things played out with Derrick. I didn't see that coming. I shouldn't be surprised being as I've been taken by surprise through the entire series. But I was and that's what makes this a Crazy Ass Must Read Series. Anie Michaels just "sweeps the rug" out from under you and gives us one hell of a ride through this series. I absolutely love it when an author takes the male lead and has me not liking him in the beginning to loving him at the end.
I can't wait to see what's next from Anie Michaels. Definitely in stalker mode now. ;)

This is the fourth and final part of The Private series. When I began this part, I was not aware that it was the last installment and was intrigued to see where the characters would be taken as the previous book was not left with a cliff hanger. However, I needed my Preston Reid fix to see if they would ever get some closure on this rollercoaster ride. I was not disappointed at all.
Lena and Preston are now living in Hawaii and all seems to be going well with their relationship. The love and undeniable strong attraction these two have for one another is palpable, but there is still the issue of Lena still being married to the conniving Derrek. Just when you think it’s all going smoothly, there is a curveball. Derrek yet again has got himself mixed up in huge problems due to his greed, and Preston has also been dragged into it by an aggravated party, namely Edgar. All he has ever cared about was keeping Lena safe, love her and more so now.
Quote ~ Preston: "The last tail I had on Derrek he was sitting pretty in the Caribbean with his mistress, sitting on a shit load of money."
Edgar: "That's my money he's sitting on."
Preston gears himself up to tell Lena what trouble is heading their way courtesy of Derrek. He does not relish telling her; nevertheless, he did promise her that after the lies and secrets previously, he would always be honest and up front. Knowing what I know is their world is about to be turned upside down. Once more, Preston agonizes over what he has been requested to do.
Quote ~ Preston: "Lena, please, we need to talk."
Lena: "We can talk, but we can only say dirty words."
Preston finally informs Lena exactly what he is being forced to get involved with and how he is doing it to keep her safe. Lena is insistent on staying with him to help with the situation they find themselves in. Even though he is reluctant, he can't bear being apart from the woman he loves. Apart from the complications these two face, the passion these two share hottens up.
Quote ~ Preston: "Fucking Christ, you’re so tight. I love slamming into you while you’re still clenching. It feels fucking amazing."
I do not want to give much more of the plot away but as I read on, discovering how they were going to resolve the dilemma they’d found themselves in had my heart beating faster and faster. The anticipation of a plan Preston puts in place even made me as anxious as them. I have been rooting for these two to finally be set free of their past and have a future together. But as I read on, it felt hopeless.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was very different to what I have reviewed before as I went into this with no knowledge of what it was about or who the author is. I was kept entertained throughout with this suspenseful, mysterious tale. I'm a massive fan of Mr Preston Reid, the private investigator, and Lena Bellows, his love interest. It was refreshing to have something a little different from the norm stories out there, and Anie certainly has a new fan in me. I would like to thank her for a terrific series. It was an absolute pleasure observing it unfold, and an extremely satisfactory ending left a big smile on my face!

Private Property is the perfect conclusion to the Private serial. Anie Michaels gives readers some much-needed peace of mind, finally addressing the situation with Derrek and moving our lovely couple forward in their relationship. Preston and Lena face their uncertain future, not knowing where they’ll settle, but content in the bliss they’ve found in one another. Without the secrets between them, they became unrestrained, sending the heat factor up several notches and giving us plenty of steamy to enjoy with all the sweet. Anie Michaels once again kept me completely enchanted by Preston and allowed me to lose myself in the twists of this story.
While we really got to know Lena in the last novella, Private Property gives us an in-depth look at Preston. Anie Michaels drags this delicious specimen into the spotlight, letting us really see him clearly for the first time. His relationship with Lena and the way he constantly made her his priority revealed the genuine and tender heart beneath the lies and mistakes he had made. His relationship with his twin sister, Piper, introduced another side of Preston, demonstrating the extent of his protective and loyal nature along with his true capacity for unconditional and lasting love. Anie Michaels did an incredible job with the development and growth of Preston in Private Property, making me fall in love with him a little bit more.
The storyline in Private Property was unexpected. Anie Michaels is full of surprises, giving this novella a suspenseful turn that kept me hooked. Preston and Lena’s mission was incredibly revealing of this couple. The situation they find themselves in put their kindness and compassion to the test and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them handle things. Private Property also got me pretty excited about Piper, who clearly has a story to tell. Her closeness with her brother warmed my heart while her raw emotions tugged at something inside me. Private Property is the fourth and final serial in the Private series. It starts where Private Getaway left off, Preston and Lena together in Hawaii. They are working on their relationship and trying to figure out what is the next step to moving on but everyone is ready for them to do that...not yet anyway.
When Lena's ex, Derreck left Portland he made more than one mistake. He made many, but the biggest was leaving with Edgar's money and now it is time for him to pay up. Edgar won't let Preston and Lena start their new life until Derreck is in the gone for good and he has his money back and believes Preston is the only man for the job.
Preston and Lena have a plan to end it all once and for all. It is calculated, illegal and the best way to end Derreck for everything that he has done to Lena while they were married and after screwing her over after it ended.
Preston will do anything for his love, protect her, own her and give her everything she deserves. The first step to moving on is to deal with Derreck even if in the end, he is dead.

I have been a fan of this series from the first book!!! I was beyond excited to start Private Property, it starts right where Private Getaway left off!
Lena and Preston are trying to rebuild their relationship with one another, especually their trust! Anie did not disappoint one bit and the love and emotions you feel in her writing is truely amazing! The chemistry between Lena and Preston is off the charts and oh boy the "feels" are full force!!
This story was not all about love and romance, the combination of suspense and the twists and turns that come in this one literally had me gasping at some parts. I did not see it coming!!
I would 100% recommend not only Private Property, but the entire series, to everyone. It is a great mixture of drama and angst, love and chemistry, and suspense, that makes this one stand out to me. Anie is truely amazing and for sure a go to author for me!! I can not wait for what she has to come in the future!

Private Property by Anie Michaels is an absolutely fantastic read. This is book number four in The Private Serials and continues right where Private Getaway leaves off. Preston and Lena are working towards building their trust and relationship back to what it was before. However, people from their pasts are showing back up and bringing with them sought after revenge and redemption. The fans of The Private Series must continue on with the journey of Lena and Preston.
Anie Michaels does not disappoint in this fourth book. The twist and turns leave you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.
As with all of Anie Michaels books, you as the reader, feel all of the emotions as the characters do. The story was very captivating and I couldn't put it down!
I highly recommend Private Property and the entire Private Serials. This series is OUTSTANDING!!!

Private Property continues where Private Getaway finished, Preston and Lena are trying to re build their relationship but people from the past just wont go away and they find themselves in a situation that could have major consequences for their future. Anie has not only given us romance, hot chemistry but also suspense with lots of twists along the way.
We get to read more of Preston's thoughts in Private Property he's protective of his family, friends and Lena. You feel the love and emotion pouring off the page, Preston want's to give Lena all the things that she has been denied but he has one last job to do to ensure her safety.

Private Property was just the perfect ending to this serials! Anie Michales did a fantastic job with each book, this last book was a hook you and reel you in kind of book! Lena and Prestons story is so captivating and also sexy! Anie Michaels left nothing undone with this serial was not rushed in my opinion! I very much enjoyable read! I highly recommend grabbing these books for a memorable summer read! 5 beautiful golden star well deserved!

This is the perfect ending the this series. I loved the storyline & twists & turns. As someone that doesn't read serials normally but loves Anie's writing I was hesitant at first but she didn't disappoint! I highly recommend if you want a quick read with a great story!

I have been hooked on this series from the first installment. Private Property both tied up all loose ends and gave Preston and Lena the HEA they deserved all in one sexy and action packed book.

Lena and Preston have finally been reunited in Hawaii and all seems to be happy and smooth but thinking their past are behind them is a mistake. People and problems they thought were behind them soon come back to not only cause problems but rattle them to the core. Deciding to face them head on and work together to make a life in which they can be with each other, Preston and Lena soon find themselves doing things they never thought they would do and fighting for the happiness they deserve.

Told entirely from Preston’s point of view, Private Property gripped me from the beginning and the excitement never slowed down. In addition to Preston and Lena the book is full of secondary characters that I fell in love with! I desperately want more from Piper, Preston’s sister. Preston has led a more secretive life up until this book. He is a private investigator that broke Lena’s heart. He had good reason to do what we did but we learn his story in this book. It’s from where it left off in book three, so there aren’t any boring repeats!
Wowsa! This book will rock your socks off. There are some incredibly hot and sexy bedroom scenes (let’s face it, Anie knows how to write a bedroom scene to make all the readers happy), some jaw dropping suspense that will keep you on your toes (or prevent you from laying comfortably in bed while reading), and some incredibly lovey-dovey romantic scenes that will make your heart melt!
Let’s back up to the suspense part of the book. She did an absolutely incredible job writing these scenes. I was caught off guard completely and NEVER guessed what was coming before it was completely obvious! I think she has put her hand into the romantic suspense genre with this book, and would LOVE to see her write more! It was written so naturally and well thought out. It made me move, it made me think, and it grabbed me and kept me reading.
Yes, this book is filled with scenes that will make your heart pitter patter at the romance and love shown between all the characters, whether it be friends, siblings, or lovers. At the end of the day, it’s what I’d like to call a “feel good” story. There is no way you can end this series with nothing but love, happiness, and feel goods.

The final book in the series and what a ride it was.
In book 3 Lena runs off to Hawaii to get away from the man she fell in love with. She runs away from the man that betrayed her, but everything is not always what it looks like. Lena and Preston fell for each other, hard. But, the ultimate betrayal rips them apart. Preston was working for Lena’s ex-husband; helping him bring her down and leaving her with nothing. Book 3 ends with Lena finding out that Preston’s love for her was real and they reunite. “All right,” I said firmly. “Let’s find him.”
“But her face, it was searching for something, longing and hope prevalent in her expression. She needed someone to help her and I’d be damned if it was anyone but me. In that moment she became my exclusive property.”
Book 4 takes us on the last journey. Lena and Preston are back together and making up for lost time. Their chemistry is hot as ever. Their relationship develops and they commit to each other. Everything is wrapping up and everybody gets back to their life. Her support group, Piper, Sam and Parker move on. Preston stands by Lena, waiting for her decision as to what is next. Does Lena seek revenge? Anie Michaels takes us on a journey, James Bond style. I loved the ending!! My heart is swelling. An exciting hot series with the perfect ending.

I love Lena and Preston's story! Anie did an amazing job capturing my heart and making me fall in love with this serial. Each installment was better than the last and this final one was nothing less. Their story picks up right where it was left off in the previous book. We get to see Lena and Preston moving forward, past all the crap. But don't worry they have some obstacles they need to get over before it's smooth sailing. Good thing Preston is not only sexy but smart. I love how Lena trusts him and let's him lead her. She has been through so much and just needs someone to take care of her. Now don't think she's a weak woman who needs rescued, that's not what I meant at all, she's one of the strongest I've read. She just needs a break and Preston is there to help her through everything. WE get all the answers we were looking for plus more in this final book. This book is a great conclusion to their amazing story, I loved it! Great job Anie!

Private Property is the perfect end to this sexy, suspenseful series! It picks up right where Private Getaway ended. Lena has forgiven Preston and they are together in Hawaii. Sam and Piper are still there but they are ready to head back to Portland. Preston doesn't know if Lena will ever be able to go back home again, and he's vowed to follow her where ever she wants to go. One phone call from Edgar changes their plans and Preston has to think quickly. Edgar knows where Derrick is and he wants his money back and Derrick taken care of. Preston and Lena have to come up with a plan that leaves their consciences clear and them free from Edgar and Derrick forever. Can they pull of their plan and finally be free? Will Derrick try to double cross them? I'm sad to see Preston and Lena's story end, but Anie gave them the greatest ending!

Preston and Lena are back together in Hawaii. Something Preston was worried wouldn't happen. He was lost without Lena in his life. After all that had happened and all that he had did. She forgave him. He considered himself a extremely lucky man. When the past comes back to haunt them, Preston has to come up with a plan. Something that both him and Lena can live with.
Excellent ending to the series. Loved Preston. A strong sexy man. He did what he had to do to protect his sister. He never planned on the attraction he would feel for Lena. He wasn't even sure after all that happened he would end up with Lena. The story does have some twists and turns before they are completely out of the woods with the past. Fantastic characters. Loved Sam and Piper. Would love to maybe hear more about them in another book. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This review is for the entire Private Serials series...3 1/2 to 4 stars
This was a decent knight in shining armor story coming to save the princess from the evil prince. Our knight turns out to be a pretty good guy but he sure sucked at being a private investigator, or so we think. But alas a complicated plot ensues to unravel a betrayal.
I was disappointed that this story was not as tightly written as other Anie Michaels books. Many parts were too long and drawn out.

The perfect ending to a great series
Things were pretense there for a while. I was worried that Preston and Lena would get in over their heads and do something they couldn't come back from. I could not have anticipated the plan Preston had! But I am a sucker for happy endings, so there is that! This has been a great series!

The end of Chapter 1 made no sense. That happened in book 1 so why bring it up now? It had no relevance to this book. Preston had already talked about it many times. One more time wasn't necessary.
Nothing in this series was a surprise. Everything was so obvious that it was going to happen.
It's a good thing that I usually like this author otherwise I might not read her books if this is one I had to go by.

WOW I totally didn't see this series ending and I'm so upset that it is!
Lena and Preston are great and I loved reading each book.
You will not be disappointed with this story and Lena will leave you smiling and wishing you were in her shoes!
