Roc me Baby!!!
Wow, this was a really good book,I love it,Yanna and Rocco where perfect,this love story was just so good I don't know what to say, Rocco knew all his life he loved Yanna,but his traditional Italian upbringing and the fact that he was born into one of the most notorious mafia families,made being in love with a black woman taboo, Rocco became his own boss and answered to no one. Throughout his life Yanna would appear and each time his feelings grew and he knew his Baby would be his ,it was just a matter of time. Yanna has known Rocco since she was 3 years old. Time and circumstances has separated them. Over the years she has seen Rocco but only in passing,now after a devastating loss,she runs into Rocco and he is no longer the boy she remembers he is a man and not just any man,but a man on a mission and the mission is her.
I liked this book for a number of reasons,one being the way it was written. I have read lots of mafia/romance/bwwn books so the story was not unique but it was written in such a unique way that the authors use of past and present was not confusing like most books that do that but was interesting and held my attention. I love Rocco,he was a true Alpha Male if I have ever read about one but he was so soft and loving with his Baby that you had to love him. Yanna was a little weak and I normally don't care for weak woman in my books, but in this story it worked! She may have been weak for her "Daddy" but she was no shrinking violet and could hold her own. My only complaint is the side characters,I loved them and wanted to know more about them especially Gabe and Tanisha,it would have been nice to see how that developed,hopefully there will be another book that focuses on them. All is a great read!

A beautiful mistake!
I'm in love with Roc, for a man to remember his first love like this. He had to wait almost 20 years to get Yanna aka Baby, and they had a rollercoaster ride relationship. Baby had already been through so much, with the loss of her child and then your man within months. Then 4 years later the love of your life comes back. Rocks and Baby is that ride or die couple, it take a lot to break them up for good.

Yanna and Roc...good gracious. Roc, was all alpha and I loved how he loved Yanna. And his love for her was deep. Yanna, might not have loved Roc for as long as he has loved her, but her love for him was just as strong. I loved the ending, although I wish there was more of resolution for the person that was causing all that crap. it was too easy. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book.

Ron and Baby....well I finished and I'm happy I did. Very nice read quick read. A few times I caught myself going back a page or two because of the year and age counting...it was off somewhat. That and the fact that there were times when Yanna(aka Baby) would be dressed or in one place and the next sentence shes described dressed differently or in another place. ***example*** around 56% she said something about leaking from her thong onto her skinny jeans seam and the next paragraph was Roc lifting up her sundress to pull her thong off....but all in all I enjoyed this book more than the small things bothered me.

For a first book, not bad. I think my problem was I couldn't get over the pet names (Baby and Daddy) they had for each other. I think they were both to old to be introducing each other by their pet names in public. I enjoyed Courtney's character. I would like to see Gab & Tanisha get their own story.

Enjoyed this one. At times I didn’t know if it was a flashback or not but it didn’t take away from the story. I didn’t really see Roc’s connection to the streets though, seem he ran or let others take care of things for him more than anything. In the end it was still a good read. I’d really like to read more on Yanna and Roc to see what they get into next.

I did not expect this to be so good. I loved Roc and Baby's love story. I guess love can conquer all. It had me interested from the beginning to the very end. I will definitely read something else by this author. I was not disappointed.

In need of a Roc
It's nothing like a hot sexy Italian man!! Roc knew it was Yanna that he wanted to spend his life with at age 5. But a series of events kept them apart for 25 years. When the met up again Roc decided to finally make Yanna his for good.

I loved the story of Daddy n Baby. lol. No matter what He fought for the love he had for her and remained true to his feelings even though the people around him didn't respect his choices. That's something you don't find very often!!!

What a story! A boy knows he found the love of his life at 5years old? How sweet is that? Although it took many years for them to come together, their love was powerful and beautiful. So, sad that the both had to endure hatred from his family about their relationship; but Roc would not be deterred. His love for baby would not allow anyone to keep her from him. Great read! 👍

I wish I had that!
I am very jealous of Yanna and she is a fictional character, I am not fond of men living the gangster lifestyle per se, but I liked this book. I like how the author mixed in the past and present. I normally don’t like those types of books but this was well plotted! My first time reading this author and know I’m interested in what else goodreads she has to offer.

Whoa!!!! I was not ready for this book
I waited three years to finally read this book and this book was behind beautiful and rough that I'm so happy I got it and that I finally can say this book is my favorite Roc and Yanna are amazing and I love their story from the beginning and the end. Love this book. Cant wait for more

Alpha love
Wow! Loved Rocco, so addictive. Rocco and Yanna's story is heart warming. Rocco deals with the bad attitudes of certain family members wanting him to find someone more traditional. Rocco whew!

I enjoyed the read. I think the story could have been developed more but, it is what I would class as a romantic read. So good for the suitcase/beach.

There were things I liked about this and things that I didn't.
I liked that the story actually stayed pretty simple with a little twist. It wasn't standard extravagant power play mafia plot. It was actually kind of plausible. The story jumps between past and present. It was a bit jarring but I liked the backstory. What I didn't like was that the past scenes were very similar to present scenes. So instead of getting more story you get deja vu. This, like many romance books are so one sided. I can see why the woman was in love with the man. He provided, spoiled, protected, sexed, was devoted and loyal. But what did she do for him besides have curves?
The pet names made me cringe. Especially since he was trying to introduce her as the nickname and his cousin used the name as well. It was odd not endearing.
There was also a bit to much sex. I love a good graphic sex like the next single girl but it was just a lot an kind of repetitious. If we could have used about 25% less sex and put that into relationship building or story we probably would have been much better.
I can't say that I recommend this or that it was great but I would read more from the author.

Rocco in real life is not someone I would want any woman in my family to be with. And yet many families do have skeletons they want buried in their closet and Yanna showed how one lives with a Rocco and why with love. Another reason is this book was edited and if there was a snafu it was too small to notice or the writing was strong enough to overcome an error. Another was this couple's endurance and ability to forgive each other and how they built each other up. There are more reasons but you can find those yourself by reading this story. I was able to read this for free but will buy it to add to my library to re-read at my leisure. Check the story made me a Rueben Stoddard fan.

Loved it!!!!!!
I totally have a fetish when it comes to OTT alpha males (the more possessive the better) and this was exactly what I needed. It's hard to find a BWWM story with my kind of Alpha, so this story was refreshing.
Roc was amazing and his love for his baby was just too cute. I liked Yanna but how easily she let other people affect her relationship with Roc, even though he continuously proved that she had nothing to fear, pissed me off. The side characters were hilarious, I need to have a Courtney in my life. Definitely reading more from this author.
P. S. I hope Gabe and Tonisha get their own book, would love to see that. And maybe a little novella to see Roc and Yanna in marriage, I felt that their story ended too abruptly

BEAUTIFUL LOVE
What can I say about DADDY & BABY (aka ROC & YANNI). That man had been in love with that woman since he was 5 years old. Wow, talk about love at first sight. Although he loved her he never really pushed up on her but loved her from afar. When he got her he swore he would never let her go. Yanni may not have been aware of his love but she needed that space and had to grow and learn what was true love.
This story let us see that when a man wants you no other woman will do. Which also allows us to see if a man doesn’t want you, learn to let go and move on. ROC & YANNI had to endure a lot of negative factors around them that they did not allow to deter their love for each other.
This was my first book by this author and would love to read more from her.

Fantastic!!!
First I have to say through the years that I don't know who I love the most Daddy(aka)Rocco or Baby(aka)Hanna.This is one sweet sexy gangster romance.This was so fun to read especially the transitions between past and future.This was such a well fleshed out story that you want it to go on and on.The characters are so well matched that you can imagine seeing this actually happen.I would so much like to see more of this couple because I think they have so much left to.tell.Hopefully the writer will get the hint and the inspiration.Very good story so recommend worthy.

This is their story
All I can say about this book is ROC. I loved his character so much. Everything about him was alpha male. The plot kept me intrigued from beginning to end. His and Yanna's relationship wasn't like a fairy tale, but it was perfect for them and I loved it. It took years for them to find each other again, but they were meant to be. Courtney is a mess, lol, but he cracked me up, and was a true friend. Tia , and Jamie pissed me off during this whole book. I got everything I expected and more in this book, the drama, steamy sex scenes, laughter, and a great romance. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys angriest Bwwm book. Kudos to the author!!

My first time reading of this writer's work and she did not disappoint. Oh my goodness, please read this love story that will rip your heart, cause you too bend over laughing and cry tears you didn't know were falling. Oh my goodness, this is a love story that can only leave you weak and wanting. The love was magical and the love was intense, hot and searing!! An absolute read. It will leave took you evaluating where you are in your life at the moment. Please read this love story and know it would be a honor and blessing to love like this.

I absolutely LOVED this book! I need a Rocco in my life!! This dude was totally alpha, but not in the annoying I want to control your life kind of way. This is a man who respects and takes care of the woman he loves. I really liked Yanna too. She’s no push-over and I loved that. There are plenty of delicious love scenes to read as well. Very HOT! The only thing i wasn’t really down for was the “Daddy” moniker. I know some women call their lovers that in the bedroom, but for me it’s a bit of a turn-off.
If you like alphas that aren’t too over the top and controlling, I would definitely recommend Coveted! :D This was another of my favorite reads from 2015.

ROC's story
Yanni and Roc were meant to be. This story dealt with racial tensions in modern day. Roc was of Italian decent living in Chicago. His family was the De Michele crime family. Yanni was an AA plus sized woman. Yanni's mother worked for Roc's family when they were children. One day Roc's father saw the children kiss and threw his son in the trash for being with 'that' girl. After being apart for several years, Roc runs into Yanni at the gym and reconnect. The story spans over 7 years of them breaking up and getting back together over the riff between Roc his father and his sister over their treatment of Yanni. In the end love finally prevailed.

Love at five
I enjoyed this book the fact that they called each other Baby and Daddy didn't really bother me I know people do that. Boy meets girl, boy kisses girl knows she is the one. Only it wasn't that cut and dry. The relationship had problems and love that bordered on addiction or obsession. If you like your men a little rough, obsessed with bedroom skills then this is the book for you. If you are looking for a love story where people should not be together but still they find away this is a good read.

It was okay. The nick name of Daddy drove me nuts. To each its own, but using it during play time and using it as a daily moniker are two different things. Also I am starting to believe that Jessica Watkins is actually writing these books, just using different pen names. None of her author's books are being edited properly and they all have the same theme. Alpha males saving the day like modern day superheroes. I completely understand wanting to be published, but her agency seems to be lacking in certain areas.

There was hot steamy scenes, good supporting characters my fave- Courtney, action and intrigue. I love how Ms Wyatt juxtaposed POV of the H and h. I loved the flashbacks as well. Kudos to you Ms Wyatt. I can't wait for Tracy and Gabe's story. I am hooked.

I have read many alpha male stories. This was was different in that it had the past and present time lines interwoven. Another difference is that the dialogue was just FUNNY (I hope the author was going for that!) at times! Rocco de Mechele had loved Yanna E. Hill since he was 5 years old. Despite their separations and an OBVIOUS enemy, love held on. I LOVED this book!
