Shawn has spent the last year in juvenile detention putting walls around his heart to make sure he’s never crushed again. His best friend and his girlfriend did a pretty thorough job by making statements that helped put him behind bars. Now that he’s out, Shawn has no idea how to even start his new life.
When a long motorcycle ride takes him to a small town in Nevada, he decides to stay. The family that runs the motorcycle shop in town has a job for him and a small apartment over the garage. It feels like the perfect way to simplify his life.
And then Maci, the female mechanic with more straight talk than he’s ever gotten, starts to break down his carefully built walls.
Now Shawn has two Run back home to California, or allow the protection he’s fought for to slip away.
