GREAT STORY LINE...ENJOYED IT AND COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN.
I was worried that this book would be too much detailed erotica. It wasn't. I really enjoyed the characters and getting to know each one. There is a lot of mystery that keeps me wondering and trying to figure out both of the main characters.
Why, you ask, did I leave a 3 star rating. Here we go:
1. I never like it when a seemingly intelligent woman can't control herself sexually. Why would a smart woman not respect herself? When you read this book, you will understand...I don't care how attractive, masculine, sexy and wealthy a man is, I respect myself enough to not fall all over a player.
2. Erotic content is not a plot. Don't get me wrong, this book is good and there is a great plot and several plot lines within the main boy meets girl, fall in love and happy ever after. Maybe I'm too moral but, I think romance is awesome and some Authors get that but many have fallen prey to 50 Shades of Grey. This book is not erotica but it seems as if sex is all everyone is thinking about.
3. The end is just a cliff hanger. I don't believe a good book ends just....to sell the next installment of the story. A book should have an end that gives the reader a sense of satisfaction. This book doesn't finish any of the several plot lines, it just stops. Now you must buy the next book to find the ending of the first. Instead of a series that creates new characters and new plots, we just want to find out what happens in book 1. This is called a novel but it is not. This is an unfinished novel. Gotta read the next installment in the series to finish (hopefully) story 1. So I MUST read the next installment.
4. Editing. The story needs some editing, enough to irritate me while reading.
Those are the reasons for 3 stars.
Now, did I like this first installment? Absolutely! Author, Ali Parker has a great writing style that is easy to read. The story is really good, love the characters and am emotionally involved. I am sure that any lover of romance will enjoy this installment and want to read installment 2 of Damon and Bethany's story.
Do I recommend this book? Absolutely! Get your copy today and enjoy. You will be hooked so get "Billionaire Alpha 2" right away because you won't want to wait and read more of Damon's story.

Squirming
I enjoyed this book. Even though some of Damian and Bethany's situations had me squirming on how things were going to turn out. Can't wait for the next book.

BOOK ONE
This is a fast paced novella that will leave you wanting more and more and wondering why step brothers are not like this in real life.
Bethany has just graduated from school and her and her mom are flat broke but she wants to keep going on to get her mba at university but to do that she needs money. So bethany convinces her mom to marry the man she has been dating as he asked so why not do it. And then once they are married her mom can ask her husband for a loan for bethany as he's filthy rich. But her soon to be step dad does one better than a loan.
Will bethany be able to handle what her step father offers her yet or maybe the better question is will she be able to handle her soon to be step brother????
Can't wait to read book two
BOOK TWO
Omg this novella series is getting hotter and hotter and i love hot stories about hot alpha billionaires...still wondering where to find mine though.
In this book we see bethany adjusting to working with her aoon to he step brother damon and the sexually undertones from him are pouring off the pages. But then bethany also meets her other soon to be step brother matt and i dont know but there seems to he something going on with him as well.
This book ends in a jaw dropping cliffhanger and has left me wondering what line is going to be crossed in the next book.
BOOK THREE
Oh my this series is getting so hawwwt and i cannot get enough of damon and bethany.
In this book we see bethany wanting damon more and more but she is so afraid to cross that line as he is her boss and soon to be step brother and once that line is crossed there is no going back.
This is one step brother romance series that has me hooked and i keep coming back for more. Bring on book four
BOOK FOUR
Just when you think things couldnt get any hotter...:boom book four happens.
Bethany and damon crossed the line but then damon takes off without telling bethany and thats when feelings of regret come front and center for bethany. And then the bully at work pushes bethany over the edge and bethany punches her and things start going down hill from there.
I am in need of my damon fix in book five, cant wait

This box set is a very quick but great read it gets hotter with each part.....

Demanding love
This was a good ready by Ali Parker. It is an alpha billionaire read. I found if enjoyable for an intro into the series. It had a lot of drama that related to Bethany and Damon. Bethany is trying to make it for herself. Her goal is to never have to worry about food or money again. I tell you that part in the cafe with her Mom totally pulled at my heart-strings. She has goals and when a speed bump causes her to rethink things, she grasps at whatever straws she can. Little does she know that Damon will rock her world in a way she isn’t prepared for.
Damon just has one focus in mind. Screwing around and making millions with his Dad and their firm. When Bethany waltzes into his life, he’s not sure what to do. He has his immature moments of being a guy that you want to smack.
Matt had me laughing with he over the top personality and antics. Him and Bethany were the sibling combo that anyone would want to have.
Overall I would recommend this cute read to anyone loving the bad boy alpha billionaire romance.

Wow! This one got off to a slow start for me. The plot was interesting; however, repetitive. There was a lot of drama between Bethany and Damon. Too much back and forth on whether they were good for each other or not. Whether they would develop a relationship or not and etc. Damon was flipping between hot and cold. Insecurities on both sides got old real quick. Despite all of this, I really enjoyed the story. It flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were easily relatable and fairly well developed. Matthew, Damon's brother, is hilarious and I'm glad I got the background story on Kindal.

I've had this box set in my library for a while but haven't wanted to start a new author and to be honest I didn't think this would be anything great. Well let me just eat my words. I was pleasantly surprised that this box set was pretty dang good. Other than the fact that the billionaire roll has been waaaayyyyy over written it was a really good book with for the most part great characters. I enjoyed the story line, even though it seems like it's not finished yet, some great twists that I totally wasn't expecting at all. I look forward to reading more from Parker and hopefully she keeps proving my assumptions wrong.

I Think This Is A Very Good Series. OVER 18+READING
Damon and Beth's story is so good. Rich guy who doesn't trust love at all, poor girl trying to concentrate on finishing school and improving her life, their parents planning to get married being how they meet so they feel they have to keeps it quite. Add in having to work together as her future new step father has said and he will cover her last year of school. Plenty of fun and lots of hot times in this series.

A taboo love story that is steamy and action packed. Bethany and Damon definitely have chemistry, it is just a shame that Bethany comes across as an airhead only interested in getting laid when she is supposed to be a very intelligent woman who has aced her college course and is going for her masters.

Dominant Alpha Male!
I love books where there is a dominant alpha male and an equally sweet and humble female. The plot was well thought out, had strong characters, plot twists, angst and a hero with a very guarded heart. There were some very small errors in a part of the book but not enough to alter my enjoyment of the story. The chemistry between the two main characters was HOT and explosive!
The author also created strong secondary characters that could have their own story. If so utilized, I will definitely read them! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves dominant alpha males.
I would rate this as an R for strong language and sexual scenes.

Part 1
Bethany and Damon were going to meet. Yes, it was inevitable they would meet. Her mom is going to marry his dad. Now she works at the family business, for him. The attraction is not necessary and may be a hindrance.
There are co workers who are trying to cause problems. She wants to help her new employer and soon to be step-brother. She agrees to help him pass the word he is not available to the other workers. Then she may regret it.
Damon is hot as his name implies. It does not help that his eyes pinning her place make her feel like he can read her thoughts. The family is overjoyed that she wants to be a part of the business. She is a catch also, since she is graduating almost top of her class.
The real dilemma her is whether she can get herself to stop dreaming about her boss. Is she any better than her co-workers when she ogles his fine butt? She does not want to treat him like a piece of meat. She needs to work. She has tuition to pay.
I love this start to the serial! The characters are strong and I know they will clash. You want them to clash when the sizzle between them is already HOT!
Part 2
Damon tells Bethany his rules in this installment. She learns about him more and he in turn tries to convince an annoying co-worker he is not interested by acting like he is in an affair with Bethany.
Bethany also in turn meets her other step-brother who is laid-back and fun. She cannot help but compare the two. Even though it is obvious they are pretty close. She fins an easy friendship to her other step-brother, but Damon is still her boss and confuses her.
He also makes her hot. She knows he is messing with her but as a lowly intern, she is not sure she wants to rock the boat. She confides instead with her mentor at the company, and he tells her all is well.
By being an ally for Damon, she has made an enemy of the co-worker who is the problem. Something is going to have to hit the fan soon.
Part 3
Bethany is making friends and starting to settle in to her new job. Working for her mother's fiance and his son has both positive and negative's with it. She is getting to know Damon a little better too.
Damon tries to explain to her that he is the boss and he is rigid in what he expects. He also seems attracted to her, then why is there a blonde under his desk? Is there more to his story? Is that a proposition she sees in his eyes?
Bethany also has an enemy at work. She is after Damon for herself. Then Damon uses Bethany's personal knowledge of him to keep her away. There is also a new male intern who seems like he would be a good friend, and maybe more.
Will the idea of being family prevent Bethany from letting Damon get closer to her? Will his ways be the reason? Such a sold and strong story! I could not put it down! This story is just heating up.
Part 4
Bethany goes with Damon to his place in this book. He surprises her by refusing her offer. She then spends time wondering if it is something she did wrong, or whether he just cannot trust her.
Damon, has been hurt in the past by someone close to him. His brother tries to explain this to her. Can love conquer all? Is it love they are feeling?
After a series of misunderstandings, they have a big fight! Both of them are strong characters and this was an emotionally challenging book. I was totally captivated with tears streaming down my face!

This just wasn't for me. I really tried to like Bethany, but she failed to make an impression - too judgemental for my liking and too... dunno. You look at people sometimes and you'll stay away from them because there's just something about them that sets off your alarm bells. Bethany is exactly that for me.

One hot read!
Alpha is a hot read. Bethany is a hard working girl trying to make it in the world. She grew up with nothing, but wants to make her life better. She has put herself through college without loans. Now she must seek get a job to finish her education. Her future Stepfather makes her an offer she can't refuse. The hitch, she has to work for her Alpha, womanizing, hot, and sexy future stepbrother, Damon. Bethany is strong and believes she can overcome whatever Damon dishes out. Except, Bethany didn't factor in the attraction she would have for Damon.
The sexual tension between characters is thick. I was fanning myself through most of the book. The dramatic build up between the characters kept me reading through dinner. I couldn't put the book down until I was done! I can't wait to see what happens in the second book.

Bethany is going to work on her Masters, but finds out only 1/3 of it is covered by the grants. She talks to her mom about getting married sooner rather than later. The new stepdad offers to cover the rest of her schooling if she goes to work at his company as an intern. Her new boss is her new stepbrother.
Damon was hurt bad in the past and has no intention of ever letting anyone get close enough to do that to him again. Slowly these two start getting to each other in more ways than one, but can they make things work when their parents are getting married.
This is the first half set of a series, and will leave you wanting more. Very fast, hot read. I was given an arc for an honest review.

Excellent Serial! Bethany is a smart, hard working student that just graduated, but is now starting work towards her master's, but unfortunately she needs money for that. Her mother's wealthy fiance comes to the rescue. He agrees to pay the costs, as long as she works at his accounting firm while she is doing so. This places her working for Damon, her soon to be stepbrother, who is a sexy whore that she is very attracted to. Is there a reason that he acts the way he does? This is a wonderful chance that her soon to be stepfather has given her, but there is so much more involved between her and Damon. Very good writing! I did not want to put the book down. I received this from the author in return for an honest review. I am so glad that I have Parts 5-8, so I can keep reading.

I read parts 1 - 4 back to back and loving it so far.
Bethany is a smart, yet poor girl graduating at the top of her class. Her dilemma is how to afford the rest of her education while she studies for her Masters. Her mother is about to marry a rich man who generously offers her a job while he pays for her studies. Her future stepbrother Damon will be her boss and sparks are flying. Sexual tension in the office and at home, will it be her downfall?
The plot is great and flying by at a fast pace. The characters are fun and I'm enjoying the banter, the drama and the sizzle. Damon is a man-whore, he lacks trust in woman due to past baggage, will Bethany be 'the one' or will he break her heart? I need to go and hunt down the rest of series too find out.

WOW!
To say that this book had been an emotional rollercoaster ride, doesn't even begin to describe the feelings I had while reading it! The author, Ali Parker, once again had me pulled into the story and characters! The chemistry between Damon and Beth. I love comedic Matthew. Plus, how would a great story be, without a nemesis! No, Matt is not the bad guy! I can't really get into the story or any other characters, without having spoilers. So, this is as much as I'm going to write! This is not a standalone! However, if you are like me when it comes to the end, you will want more too!

Absolutely love this series. Bethany broke and needing help with her masters she takes a job for her soon to be step father and her soon to be step brother as her boss. Damon is hot sexy and dripping with sex. she finds herself caught up in him like every intern in the office. Damon always with another girl but she wants to be the girl that steals his heart. he wants her just as badly but no strings. will she find herself in his heart or will the cat and mouse game be the only thing between them?
