Kenna arrives in the Southwest Circuit as a journalist with a fake name and the burning determination to bring those responsible for her brother’s death to justice. Colt was Grant’s best friend and also doesn’t think his death was an accident. Working together, they dig and fight and research and it all just reinforces their attraction, as inconvenient as that is. Not an easy read. Grant’s death is like a bell that keeps tolling through everything they do. Very emotional. Kenna and Colt are both strong willed so their interactions aren’t all sweetness and light but the story and the investigation pull you in and, despite the danger, they work through their problems. Lots of action, lots of steam. Have a few tissues handy!

Kenna arrives at the rodeo with fake journalist credentials and her mother’s maiden name to uncover the truth about her brother’s death.
Colt was not there when his best-friend died riding a bull he knew was drugged, and carries that guilt whilst riding with a death wish.
Together they start to dig into Grant’s death, drawing danger closer and closer to them.
This is an exciting read with lies, betrayal, intrigue and suspense. An easy book to highly recommend, the hook at the end means I will be waiting for the next book very impatiently!

Very slow to start but once it started moving i was hooked.
This is Kenna and Colt's story on the rodeo circuit.
About more than horses and bulls.
They venture into an investigation that will hopefully stop before it kills them.
What can they achieve.
