The third and final Naruto Box Set contains the thrilling conclusion to one of the most popular manga series of all time. This set features volumes 49~72 at a substantial savings over buying them individually, along with an exclusive premium.
As Konoha village rebuilds, the leaders of the ninja world convene for the Gokage Summit. Defeating the Akatsuki threat may require the rival villages to work together. Can they put their longtime differences aside long enough to defeat Madara's plans? War is coming to the ninja world, but what will Naruto's and Sasuke's role be in the coming conflict?
Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.
This is my review for the entire Naruto series, which I basically blew through 700 issues in a little over a month.
I wanted to read this originally in middle school and never got around to it and now I’m thinking “DAMN WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG?”
Dude no wonder weebs used to Naruto run around school—the series 100% lives up to the hype. Epic fights, great character development, complex world building, and one of the best climactic fight scenes i’ve ever seen.
I cried a few times while reading this series because the writing was so good. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the ending and while I was DEFINITELY confused abt a lot of the logistics, I still thought it was a nice cap to the series and my heart is full.
I'm just going to say that chapter 699 ruined the whole thing for me, I mean I liked seeing a glimpse of what happened later on in chapter 700 especially Sarutobi Mirai but the whole forgiving Sasuke even though he's an insane sociopath just because he's my friends and blah blah blah is so stupid and disappointing, there shouldn't have been a future where Sasuke was accepted and forgiven, I honestly have no respect for Kishimoto at all right now. I actually expected a much better ending to one of my absolute favourite manga series, I really feel let down with this. Should've expected something like this instead given my loss of interest in the majority of the second half of this war.
It's depressing knowing that this is how it ended. I'm hoping the sequel will be better because it's focused on the kids apparently and I hope I'll get to see Sarutobi Mirai be badass or something.

Ah, my life would not be the same without it. An indescribable series that I grew up with (anime first, then I started reading the manga in my teens).
There's not enough words to explain how much love & nostalgia I have for this series (plus, come on, one of the best characters ever is in it: Gaara is irreplaceable in my favourite literature characters).
Great battles, great characters, great quotes, great philosophies! - GREAT EVERYTHING.
This small review section can't contain all the praises I have, so I shan't say more.
Some of the most important final arcs for many beloved characters, though the ending making such a deep pivot without the proper buildup makes for a much cheaper and disappointing final enemy. In all honesty without the introduction of Kaguya or even Ashura, Indra & Hagaromo the final arc would be much better. If you removed them from the story entirely it would make just as much sense with their plotline moved to boruto which I am not enticed to read at all. The final fight between Naruto & Sasuke had forever changed my perception of connectedness, and set a bit of an unrealistic standard to want someone that would never give up on me, even if I was undesirable as a person or friend, that they'd continue seeing the best in me and love me nonetheless.
"Why do you keep involving yourself with me"
"You know already, don't you?"
"just answer me"
"Cuz you're my friend."
"You've said that before...but what exactly...does that mean to you?"
THIS IS MY FINAL REVIEW FOR THE WHOLE 72 VOLUME SERIES, NOT JUST BOX SET 3.
Naruto is quite the achievement in comics. For over 12,000 pages it provides the readers with interesting characters, great world building and awesome fights. After volume 43 things slow down and it becomes sadly apparent that the side characters we once loved weren't properly handled by Kishimoto, but the ending was satisfying to a decent extent. The first 27 volumes will always mean a lot to me, and no matter what the internet haters may say- this is a great series.
Rating the series as a whole just in one review. Holy shit what an adventure. The only downside of this manga is that is makes the anime not look as good by comparison. 72 volumes in total and I don’t feel like they wasted time or did things that were pointless. I loved how they let side characters have their time to shine. Kakashi is the GOAT and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees.
10/10 would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
Good series, but it's not great. It goes to crap towards the end, but it wasn't a mistake to read because I enjoyed it overall and watched and read it at a relatively young age. I would not recommend this series to seasoned manga readers because it would be a waste of time. This is most certainly a good series for young kids and teens to enjoy great fights.
(4.5/5) Volumes 28-72 were just as enjoyable as Naruto part 1. There’s no doubt that these volumes were fun and enjoyable to read. It never felt like it was a chore to read and for me that’s a very important aspect to these types of books. Story and characters were great and I like revisiting whenever i get the chance.
