Shifter Brides Book 1: The Bear Needs a Bride Book 2: The Bear Needs a Wife
This books didn't grab me or stuck me into the story. I re-read the same passage at least five times. I couldn't get into the story and I felt it was lacking. It really was boring and didn't pop with a vibe or energy to keep me interested. I didn't like Adrian or Maya. They seemed more like the villains than part of the hero and heroine support system. I skimmed this book until the ending. I won't be reading the rest of this series
This was a little bit of a different twist on mail order brides. I liked how the author wrote from the prospective of both Cage and Amy. I also liked the older, cynical, over-protective brother, who needs a story of his own. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
I have to say I loved this story. This is the first book that I have read by Patricia Rains, she is a wonderful writer. She took a woman who has some curves, whose not to sure how some men feel about curvy women. I wish it was longer, but would recommend it to everyone. I have found a new author to follow.
This book was a quick read for me and didn't really fully catch my attention. While it was pretty well written there were some small errors that could be found but it didn't take away from the story itself. I would have liked to see a bit more character development but that's just me personally.
