Snatchers 6: The Dead Don't Feel

Rate this book
The group are into week six and while nothing has happened for a few days and the camp is a serene environment, Vince Kindl finally decides to go looking for Jason Murphy, leaving Pickle in charge. After a few misdemeanours involving other members of the camp and Pickle, Vince returns and is only there for a while before another horrific challenge needs to be dealt with by himself, Pickle, Karen, Shaz, and the rest of the residents. Feeling beaten, Vince decides that it may be time for everybody to leave the camp to go elsewhere as he feels they need more numbers in order to survive, and once an opportunity is given to him, he snaps up the offer from his old friend, Lee James. But will this ensure the safety of the group? Not for persons under the age of 18.

wow

I've read a lot of zombie apocalypse books but i can honestly say this is one series i plan on reading to the end. I really like the interaction of the characters. i didn't like Vince at first but i think he brings the "comic relief" that karen and shaz needed.

I have a queue of books waiting to be read on my kindle, some of them are series where i haven't got around to reading the next one. Not with this series as soon as i have finished a book, ive immediately downloaded the next. You just never now whats coming next. quite possibly the most realistic apocalyptic series i have read. Try them you wont be disappointed. I always read the authors notes at the end, i think it tells you so much about them, Im glad the female lead is a strong woman, albeit a cold strong woman, Pickle seems to be the heart of the books. Cant bear simpering women waiting around for men to rescue them, but come on guys they don't always have to be beautiful :) (as they seem to be in every story ive read) to be a strong capable nice woman. Vince has grown on me, not that i would find his lines funny if directed at me, and he would probably be the recipient of a throat punch, but he does make me smile. On book 7 right now. Thank you Mr Whittington for an excellent series.
