So after the ending of the previous volume I "jumpstarted" to the next translated volume. With a previous volume, which had quite a lot of action and story-wise development, I had some high expectations with this volume. Most of which weren't accomplished.

I'd say that this volume contains three parts. The first it was trying and succeeding in changing the past (best part of the volume), then the second part (which is the longest and well, quite boring) in which Shidou gather information and dates Origami and the final part, which is the epilogue.

As the author said, this volume was really different from the rest. Well because it had quite a bit of story-development (1&2 parts). Also it was nice and refreshing seeing Origami behave differently.

I know that this is a YA book, but I disliked something. Origami makes a big deal (after turns to normal), that she will have to remember all those deaths she caused and she will have to come to terms with it. And then three days later she's flicking her skirt up. I mean WTF?

Never having been a fan of time travel and its connected tropes I was a bit worried about were things were going after events in volume 10. Luckily, I felt the story handled it fairly well, neither making things overly complicated nor cheapening the story by making everything fine. Add the choices offered during the dates, and how both Kotori and Shido handled them, showing some growth, and it left me very satisfied with the book.

So I have noticed the ratings I give these books is directly proportional to how big of role Kurumi plays in them. This book was very good over all and I'm looking forward to the next part.
