Serial Bangers!

Rate this book
I’m many things—sarcastic, ruthless, and offensively good at my job.

What I’m not is tolerant of my brand-new neighbor—Raiden Kane.

He’s infuriating, smug, and far too criminally attractive for someone who treats our shared parking like a declaration of war. Sure, I could handle all of that, but what I can’t handle is his Energizer Bunny stamina and apparent addiction to beautiful women—an addiction that plays out for hours every night through the insultingly thin wall between our bedrooms.

Raiden Kane knows exactly what he’s doing to me, and I’d dare say it’s the best game he’s ever played. My tolerance meter is wearing thin. Especially when he looks at me with those lazy bedroom eyes that suggest he already knows exactly how I taste.

Work is supposed to keep me sane. It’s my escape. Until it isn’t. Our worlds collide, and the man I’d happily strangle on principle starts turning up where he doesn’t belong.

Coincidence? Please.

There’s something off about Raiden Kane. He’s hiding secrets of his own, and I fully intend to pry them from his cocky, sinful soul … one delicious mistake at a time.

Living next door to him was a mistake.

Falling for him would be worse.

But underestimating him?

That might be the one thing that gets me killed.

What in the Mr and Mrs. Smith did I just read? And why is this going on the top reads of the year list?

First off, why is no one talking about and recommending this book? I have not seen a single person mention this book or influence me to read this one and it’s really a shame because I think everyone needs to read this book! The vibes were absolute perfection! To say I devoured it is an understatement.

Serial Bangers has everything you want in a dark rom com. Let’s start with the obvious: top tier banter that will make you laugh your booty off! Kiara and Raiden’s back and forth neighbor wars was so funny! The witty commentary had me rolling in the floor with laughter. Kiara always trying to challenge Raiden’s manhood and capabilities gave me life!

Now the plot? It will grip you from the moment the audiobook starts. I was already fully invested in a bad ass FMC assassin. And the meet cute that turned into an all out neighbor prank war was so fun. Which leads me into all of the action, twists and turns this plot will take you on. I won’t same much more because it will spoil parts of the book but I loved everything about it.

As the title suggests, Kiara and Raiden, do I fact become serial bangers in the best possible way! It’s a spicy one and these two have an appetite that only can be satiated with each other.

Lastly, we need to talk about the audiobook because this one delivered an A+ performance. Serial Bangers is a DUET NARRATION by CJ Bloom and Patrick Zeller. The voice acting with inflections was perfect. It truly made you feel like you were a part of the story. CJ truly delivered with the banter and the acting on Patrick’s part was so freaking good! So I highly suggest the audiobook! It gave me a fully immersive reading experience!

I pretty much devoured this one. I wouldn't call it dark at all, yes there's some murdery times but nothing graphic or anything that I would consider dark. Instead it was pretty light for a book surrounded by murder and assassins and the enemies-to-lovers style romance was the real focus of the story. I loved seeing how Kiara and Raiden would one-up each other with the crazy neighbor antics and I especially loved to see how all of that tension translated into some very steamy moments.

First of all, the idea was promising. I love seeing badass women, assassins, contract killers, etc. Women, who knows what they worth. Kiara St. James (I found it hilarious, and later annoying how her full name was repeated all the time. I mean , I get it , you like this name🫣) So, Kiara was not that woman, she was an immature parody. They way she behaved, talked and reacted was a bit too childish for my vision of an assassin. The “job” was described too simple, boring and plain. I didn’t get the vibe , didn’t catch the aura from FMC. It feels that the world set up was pretty edgy and childish-like

It was stupid that she crawled and blew dart while our MMC was with another woman. It was weird that the wall was that thin and how both of them handled it. The attraction that they got to each other was too fast paced and didn’t feel real. Again, everything should be perfect about out characters, so I caught vibes of Marry Sue style.
Both MC were flat, the humour was cringe sometimes (sometimes I liked it)
Sex scenes were not good.

I was cringing more and more by the end of the book.
I don’t understand why they loved each other, I mean, they didn’t even talk about their interests, hobbies, routines. It was all fast paced and rushed, and the arcs with enemies and betrayal was… strange. I find it hard to understand why Milan wanted to betray in a first place. I thought that the arc with Louis was much more promising.

At the end of the day, maybe it’s not my book after all. 😕

This book was so much fun. If you love a spicy, strong, mouthy, and independent FMC who loves to give shit to a sexy, shit talking MMC you will love this read. The banter between these two characters was so good I actually giggled outloud a few times.
The banter was throughout the book. A lot of times I find the banter dies off as the book becomes more serious but not in this book. The characters personality stayed the same up until the end and I loved that.
Definitely plenty of smut throughout the book too. It was not overkill, it's intentional and fit perfectly with the banter.
I highly recommend this book.
I did the audio, duet Narration, and the narrators nailed this one.

This had so much promise - the premise was really interesting and the idea of the characters were fun. However, this book did absolutely nothing with any of that. I do not understand why they like each other at all - they literally go from hating each other to being in love and literally nothing changed for that to happen. They risk death by having sex in a crashed car that is on fire.

This was advertised as a romcom - where are the jokes??? The joke seemed to be that she’d named her cactus. Most of the dialogue made me violently cringe.

Also the line “Ghosts don’t leave fingerprints, but they do leave footprints on the grid.” What does that even mean???

I only have one critique. Please stop including AI-generated images. The whole point of a book is that you can picture the characters yourself. It would be better if the AI character art was at the end of the book and optional. I don't like that you are forced to see such a weird AI interpretation of a human. Sorry if it's not AI, but the style kind of gives off that vibe. Anyway, I would still put it at the end of the book.

They say the line between love and hate is a thin one. Sheridan portrayed that well. Right from chapter 1 she painted those high emotions. She had us detesting the new neighbor. Naturally those quick jests turn into banter. Their antics into games. Those hot tempers and sparks, catch fire and this book get HOT.

Sheridan is amazing at writing strong, bad a$s FMCs. Kiara in this book is no different. This book will have you angry, flustered, amused. I am really enjoying Sheridan's brand of Dark Romcoms. As well as the special touch of adding character art throughout the read.

Fans of Mr & Mrs. Smith, but want spice and a bit of Sheridan's Brand of unhinged will love this book.

This book was just a good time. The vibes were vibing, the banter and tricks they played on one another were to die for (haha). They fit together so well. I will always love a great dark rom-com. I haven't found one yet that I didn't enjoy.

If you read my reviews you will know I do read quite a few dark Rom com books 😂 This one upon starting just struck me as very similar to ones I’ve previously read, to the point I actually thought I’d done that ‘forgot I’d read it’ situation. Mainly because the storyline is exactly the same with the exception of some variance in the plot line, if like me you’ve read others you will understand what I mean.

𝙸 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚢 𝚑𝚎𝚛. 𝙵𝚒𝚐𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎𝚕𝚢, 𝚘𝚏 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎.

Now the above is not to say I’d didn’t enjoy this read, as I did, because if anything I do love me a strong FMC and Kiara is definitely that with a dry sense of humour too. The MCs tit for tat is quite amusing, their banter spot on and throw in the sexual tension that leads us into their connection it all comes together well. There are a lot of spicy times, violence, m^*der (obviously for assassins that’s a given 🤭), serious parts too, some tense moments, a twist or two all leading toward an HEA along with their two spikeys 🤣 I don’t want to give too much away, as I said it’s an enjoyable read and one of those books you can settle into in between those pitch/horror stories 😉

Serial Bangers was exactly the kind of book I was in the mood for. It’s fun, addictive, action-packed, and doesn’t take itself too seriously—all while delivering plenty of romance, chemistry, humor, and spice.

One of my favorite things about this book is the way Sheridan Anne blends romance with action. There’s something incredibly entertaining about heartfelt declarations of love happening in the middle of shootouts and high-speed car chases. It shouldn’t work nearly as well as it does… but somehow, it absolutely does.

Kiara and Raiden are both fiercely independent, confident, and unapologetically cocky. Their chemistry is immediate, both emotionally and physically, but it’s their personalities that truly make them shine. Their banter is effortless, and I loved watching two people who are determined to make each other’s lives miserable slowly discover that annoying each other is actually one of their favorite things.

Neither of them is looking for love. They’re focused on their own lives, their own missions, and keeping people at arm’s length. That only makes it more satisfying to watch them become the one exception to their own rules.

One of my favorite aspects of their relationship is that they’re both incredibly tough, emotionally guarded people—until it comes to each other. I especially loved Kiara’s way of expressing affection. She isn’t overly sentimental, but somehow manages to say exactly what she feels in a way that’s perfectly true to her personality. Their love never feels out of character, which made it all the more believable.

Raiden completely won me over. The way he sees Kiara, admires her strength, and genuinely wants to understand her made him incredibly easy to love. What stood out most was his willingness to put her happiness and safety above his own. His love never feels possessive in a controlling way—it feels selfless, protective, and deeply respectful.

And the fact that they eventually become each other’s home…

That may have been my favorite part of all.

The story became even stronger after the halfway point. Once the larger plot really took off, the emotional stakes increased, the action became more gripping, and I found myself much more invested in both the story and the characters. Looking back, I actually think the slower beginning was necessary—it simply took me a little while to fully settle into the world.

I would also highly recommend the audiobook. The narrators do an excellent job bringing the characters to life, especially during the playful banter and the more intimate moments. Their performances added another layer of personality that made the experience even more enjoyable.

As someone who naturally gravitates toward romances filled with slow-burn yearning, emotional baggage, sacrifice, and love that has to be fought for, this doesn’t quite reach favorite-book status for me. But I also don’t think that’s what this story is trying to be.

As a romantic comedy packed with action, fantastic chemistry, memorable banter, lovable characters, and plenty of spice, Serial Bangers absolutely succeeds. It entertained me from beginning to end, made me laugh, and left me with a smile on my face—which is exactly what I wanted.

If you like dark rom coms, bump this up your list. It’s hysterical. I laughed so much reading this book. I like Sheridan Anne’s writing but this one is by far my favorite of hers.

(This whole conversation in her head had me laughing. FOR THE RECORD, I’M A BAG WHORE SO I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE BIRKIN)
“Then, having what I need, I convince myself it's time to go. But the bags. Fuck me, the bags! They're stunning. I find myself pausing when I come past a limited-edi-tion Hermès, my fingers already reaching out, but I stop myself. couldn't, but damn it, I want it. I took this woman's husband, and sure, that's going to be rough, but to take her limited-edition Hermès? Now that's just crossing the line. Besides, what would I even do with it? Chuck it in my closet with the rest of my crap? No, it belongs here in this cli-mate-controlled walk-in where it can be displayed like the shining star that it is. I can't take such a beauty away from its home like that, not when I won't give it the life it deserves. But I can sure as hell give it a quick sniff. Besides, with my career, there have been times when I have had to escape at a moment's notice and leave my life behind, which is part of the reason why I don't allow myself such luxuries. I couldn't bear to leave them behind, but I'd have no choice. The only thing I've ever risked going back for is the absolute love of my life, Spikezilla. Fuck, Ilove that cactus. Leaning into the beautiful Hermès bag, I sink to my lowest of lows and take a deep breath, breathing in the rich leather and desperately wishing that I could run my fingers across it if only for a moment. My knees go weak, and my thighs clench as a heavy pulse thrums deep in my core. Wait. Am I about to come? What the fuck is wrong with me? Pulling back from the bag, I try to remember who the fuck I am. I shouldn't be in this woman's closet. I'm a goddamn assassin, for fuck's sake. I should already be on a jet getting as far away from the crime scene as I can, yet here I am sniffing her bags and spontaneously combusting.
Get a fucking grip, Kiara! You're better than this.
Shaking off the designer fog, I make my way out of the best walk-in closet I've ever dared to set foot in before pausing at the door and glancing back, my gaze lingering on the stunning limited edition.
Letting out a sigh, I share my deepest, most soul-wrenching goodbye. And with that, I turn away and slip out of the room.”

She’s an assassin and he claims to be an “international business man”. If you liked the movie Mr. And Mrs. Smith, this book is even better. The banter is strong, there is action and the spice is perfect.

“He shot at my girl! Fuck if anybody gets to shoot at my girl it’s going to be me.”

Spikezilla is a character all in itself. And eventually Needles.

Sheridan Anne was all like “what if it was enemies‑to‑lovers but we make it like a demolition derby?” 😃

This book didn’t start with a plot. It started with the FMC-Kiara waking up every night to the MMC-Raiden’s “activities,” and instead of calling in a noise complaint, she chooses violence.
And honestly? Good for her. 😈

The chemistry between these two is so explosive it should be classified as a controlled substance. Think Mr & Mrs Smith, but with the emotional maturity of two caffeinated raccoons fighting over a parking spot.

Our female main character is Kiara:
She’s a menace, an absolute queen but also a feisty little gremlin with a grudge and a death wish. She’s the kind of kick arse heroine who would stab you and then complain that you bled on her shoes.

Now our male main character is Raiden Kane:
And yes you will want to throat punch him. Often.
He’s smug, dangerous and hot enough to cause climate change. He doesn’t just think the world revolves around him, he literally has the audacity to act like the universe is his personal stage and everyone else is just background noise.

But when you put these two together?
They’re basically a natural disaster with benefits.

Now, Chillies? 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
Nope, sorry ladies, this isn’t a chilli pepper situation here. It’s a Greek fire situation! 🔥

So final thoughts?
Serial Bangers is feral, funny and explosive. I love a good morally grey rom‑com and when it feels like one of my favourite books The Hating Game got drunk and hooked up with Mr & Mrs Smith, to produce a book baby that immediately sets something on fire *insert image of Jack Jack from the incredible here* I’m so here for it.

So, if you want a story that makes you laugh, gasp, scream, and question your life choices… well… this’ll do it.

I knew this book would be chaos and banter! i loved it all!

🖤 Plot & Pacing
We get straight into the story of our sassy assassin and her hot neighbour. The banter happening between these 2 had me laughing so hard, the noises through the walls and getting back at each other.

🔥 Characters
Main Character: Kiara our Badass Sassy Assassin and her pet Cactus!
Raiden the new neighbour, hot as sin.

The Mr & Mrs Smith story came second to them just trying to outwit and annoy each other. The tranq dart, car full of glitter and more had me cackling at my kindle.

There’s nothing I wouldn’t take for her. A blade, a beating, or even a bullet right to the chest.

Suspend your disbelief and brace yourself for a good time, because this book was a hilarious and sexy romp that I devoured from beginning to finish. And I mean DEVOURED. Think Mr and Mrs Smith meet Wanted, add a splash of humor, a stabby FMC, and a super well endowed MMC and you're in for a hell of a good time.
Shit, he even has a mouthwatering V that leads down to what can only be described as a fucking tree trunk, and I’m not talking one of those Japanese maples. I mean, one of those redwood trees. Like damn. I’m no Cinderella, but I just know that’s going to be a perfect fit.

Kiara St. James is one of the best assassins in the world. But when she's not taking hits, she's masquerading as a traveler influencer and lives a quiet and peaceful life with her beloved pet cactus, Spikezilla. Or at least she was until her new neighbor moved in and turned her peaceful evenings into all nigh f*ck fests. A girl can only take so much before she's had enough, right? So what's a renowned assassin to do when her annoyingly handsome new neighbor is determined to plow through the entire female population every night...loudly? Crawl through the vent into his apartment and tranq his a*s mid session obviously. I mean, wouldn't you do that too?

Suffice it to say I was immediately obsessed with Kiara. And their ensuing battle of one upping each other? I was in literal tears.
Have a good day at work, honey,” she calls, making sure the whole street can hear her. “Did you want me to order that mega strap-on for you? I know we talked about it, but I’m concerned about what kind of impact your fragile little asshole can handle.”
Fuck me. Pulling the key fob out of my pocket, I unlock the Audi to get the car alarm under control, and as I cross the road and glance up at the third-story window, I can’t help but grin right back at her. “Order it, Firecracker. But remember, I’m only going to let you peg me if you stop calling me by your dad’s name when I’m eight inches deep.”
“Eight? Baby, I’d hate to break it to you, but you’re only packing five. If you could make it anywhere near eight, I’d be screaming for Jesus, not my father.”

I mean, the banter! THE BANTER. Hilarious. And the sexual tension between these two? Through the roof. I couldn't get enough of their antics.

Raiden Kane may have been a f*ck boy, but he's also a well endowed f*ck boy with a c*ck ring, so I forgave him his promiscuous ways. I mean, if I had that swinging between my legs and knew how to use it on top, I'd be blessing every female I came across too. Came. *giggles* But I digress.

This was a hilarious, action packed thrill ride of a book. It was steamy, with plenty of tension, banter, and just the type of humor that I love.

If you're looking for an addictive dark romcom, look no further. This one will hit every spot you probably didn't even know you had!

I would like to formally apologize to my hubby because I spent this entire book randomly giggling at my phone in the middle of the night.

First of all, thank you, Sheridan Anne, for not making me suffer through the usual “he’s a manwhore and now she’s secretly crying because he’s with another woman” trope.🙏🏼🙏🏼 The second I read the blurb and saw that Raiden apparently spends his free time keeping Kiara awake with his extracurricular activities, I got nervous. I was fully prepared for 200 pages of jealousy and unnecessary drama. Instead, Kiara’s reaction is basically, “How can I make this man’s life more difficult today?” and honestly? Relatable. 👑
Every time she hears him through the wall she’s not pining after him. She’s not secretly heartbroken. She’s not wondering why he doesn’t love her. She’s plotting violence. She’s making fun of him. She’s interrupting him. And I was laughing the entire time.
Also, can we talk about the fact that the secret identity plot DIDN’T make me want to throw my Kindle across the room? Because usually these books drag the reveal out until 97% and then suddenly everyone is shocked, betrayed, and refusing to communicate for the rest of the story. Not here. These two actually figure things out like competent adults. Well… competent might be a strong word considering they’re assassins, but you know what I mean.
Once they know, they KNOW. There wasn’t some massive dragged-out misunderstanding that had me screaming, “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER.”
And my favorite part? Once Raiden and Kiara finally get together, that’s it. No random women. No jealousy bait. No weird scenes designed to make the heroine insecure. Just two absolutely unhinged murderers being obsessed with each other.
Which is exactly what I signed up for.
This book is marketed as a dark rom-com, and somehow that’s the most accurate description ever. There are assassins. There are bodies. There is murder. But somehow I spent most of the book laughing.
and Kiara were chaotic, ridiculous, hilarious, and somehow adorable despite the whole serial-killer-adjacent lifestyle.

My only complaint is that it ended. I want another book. And another one after that. And maybe a security camera pointed at their apartment so I could continue watching them annoy each other forever.

If you’re looking for a dark romance that’s actually funny, with top-tier banter, zero frustrating jealousy drama, and two main characters who are equally feral, read this immediately.

The banter truly sucked me in and now I’m emotionally attached to two homicidal weirdos. 🫶🏼

When I received the email notifying me that I had an ALC for Serial Bangers, I screamed, “Yes, yes, yes!” in excitement. I was so thrilled to be chosen to review this book, and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity. I knew before I started listening that I would not be disappointed—and I wasn’t. In fact, I was mesmerised by this book from beginning to end.

The sheer power and tenacity of the female assassin amazed me. Kiara St. James is a woman who gets the job done in a swift, smooth fashion. She relies entirely on herself, free from the entanglements of friends, family, or a significant other throwing her off her game. That is, until a new neighbour moves in next door and parks their Audi RS7 over the line into her bay. Kiara is far from happy—she is murderous! Kiara only has a few things in life that are entirely hers, and her parking space is one of them. The other is her prickly cactus, Spikezilla. Let me warn you, from this point on, the laughs begin.

Raiden Kane is Kiara’s new neighbour. She meets him after knocking on his door to complain about loud moans and groans coming through their shared bedroom wall while she is trying to sleep. Audacious and infuriating, Raiden is also one hot, sexy beast. The attraction between them is instant, but the hostility remains as Kiara seeks revenge.

What follows is a game of wits, as they both get a thrill out of getting under each other’s skin with inventive ways of getting payback. The best moment is when Spikezilla becomes a casualty of Raiden’s fevered lovemaking with a woman who was encouraged to scream out Kiara’s full name during the act. There was no holding Kiara back from avenging her spiky companion by prematurely ending Raiden’s night.

The stakes only rise when they both discover what they actually do for a living. By this stage, I was in agony from laughing so hard.

"Author Sheridan Anne has a brilliant imagination for dark rom-coms and knows exactly how to craft a cackle-fest you won’t want to end. This fun is only heightened by the amazing narrators, CJ Bloom and Patrick Zeller.

Both narrators fully embody their characters, creating intense, believable chemistry. Zeller brings incredible realism to the performance, capturing the emphatic exertion and breathlessness of physical activity perfectly.

The audio quality is entirely on point throughout the listening experience. This is a definitive 5-star audiobook, and giving it anything less would be criminal!

🎧📚 Serial Bangers by Sheridan Anne
Narrated by CJ Bloom & Patrick Zeller

Well… the title doesn’t lie. This book was an absolute BANGER.

From the very first page, I was laughing so hard I nearly scared the dog. Sheridan Anne has somehow mastered the impossible combination of dark romance, action, suspense, and comedy, and honestly? I ate up every single second of it.

Kiara and Raiden are hands down one of the funniest couples I’ve read in a long time. Their neighbour war had me cackling, their banter was elite, and the tension? So thick you could cut it with a knife. every argument, every attempt to annoy each other just made me love them more.

And then there’s the chemistry…

Listen. My hot flushes were having hot flushes. 🥵🌶️ The spice level was somewhere between ghost pepper and spontaneous combustion. The tension, the payoff, the absolute chaos of these two together was perfection.

But what surprised me most was how much story sits underneath all the laughs and spice. The plot kept me hooked, the twists genuinely caught me off guard, and I loved watching the layers peel back as Kiara and Raiden’s worlds collided. Think Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibes, but with Sheridan’s signature humour, sass, and deliciously unhinged energy.

Now let’s talk audio.

CJ Bloom absolutely is Kiara. She brought every ounce of sarcasm, attitude, humour, and vulnerability to life. I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role.

And Patrick Zeller… where has this man been hiding in my headphones? Because that voice should come with a warning label. Smooth, confident, and dangerously addictive. I’m convinced global temperatures rose a few degrees every time Raiden spoke. 🫠🎧

“I laughed, I gasped, I blushed, and I devoured every chaotic second of it.” I fell in love with the characters, devoured the story in record time, and immediately wanted more.

If you love enemies-to-lovers, hilarious banter, neighbour rivalry, explosive chemistry, action, suspense, and audiobook performances that elevate an already fantastic story, then do yourself a favour and pick this one up.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this book. I read it almost in one day.

Kiera is a hired assassin and doubles as a travel blogger to cover her tracks. She comes home from a hit only to find a new neighbor moving in...and the neighbor has double parked in her space. Before even meeting him, she hears him through a shared bedroom wall. His activities are quite clear, and loud! When she's had enough, she bangs on his door and he answers it....naked as the day he was born. And that starts the war of the neighbors. Raiden is cocky (pun intended. because his important bit is extra large), and he is smitten with Kiara from the first time he saw her spitting mad at his front door. He intentionally antagonizes her and she reacts every time.

When she takes a contract in Barcelona, the last person she ever expected to see there was Raiden. He's an international sales rep for some obscure company. They are staying at the same hotel and they finally give in to the sexual energy. And that's when we, the reader, finds out that Raiden is also an assassin, there to eliminate the same target as Kiara. When he sets up his weapon, has the mark in his sights, a masked woman swoops in and makes the kill then takes off on a motorcycle. By the time he gets back to the hotel, Kiara is out by the pool in a bikini, sipping on a daiquiri.

Once they are back home, they both have suspicions about each other. They start digging deeper into each other, and when their phones ding at the same time with a contract offer, they both take off running. Now they are in competition, who can get there first and who can get the job done. They go on like this, one upping each other until something happens that changes everything and a mark gets away.

Both of their agencies get word of their compromise and try to take them out...but they're not the best of the best just in name only. They've earned their reputations. Running for their lives together is the way they want to go out.

This book is so good!! I laughed a lot and that's always a good thing. The spice was nice and spicy. The excitement is up there. I can't think of anything to criticize. And that's rare.

Good job Sheridan!!

Sheridan Anne absolutely never disappoints. How I loved every. single. thing. about Serial Bangers!

Kiara and Raiden had me hooked from their very first interaction. The neighbor war, constant one-upmanship, and absolutely elite banter had me grinning from start to finish. Kiara is exactly the kind of heroine I love from Sheridan Anne. She's fierce, hilarious, unapologetically herself, and more than capable of giving Raiden a run for his money. Oh, and I have to give a special shoutout to Spikezilla, who nearly stole the entire book. 🌵😂

And Raiden? This man was equal parts infuriating, charming, and ridiculously hot. The chemistry between these two was immediate, explosive, and oh-so-addictive. The sexual tension practically jumped off the page, but what I loved most was watching these two drive each other absolutely insane. Their back-and-forth was chaos in the best possible way, and underneath all the laughs was a connection that felt surprisingly genuine.

What surprised me most was how perfectly Sheridan balanced the humor, suspense, action, and romance. One minute I was laughing out loud, and the next I was completely invested in the twists, secrets, and danger lurking beneath the surface. Every time I thought I knew where the story was heading, Sheridan managed to surprise me.

Darkly funny, ridiculously sexy, and impossible to put down, Serial Bangers! is Sheridan Anne at her absolute best. I laughed, I blushed, and I devoured every page.

‼️(Synopsis)‼️
🗡️I’m many things—sarcastic, ruthless, and offensively good at my job.
What I’m not is tolerant of my brand-new neighbor—Raiden Kane.
⚰️He’s infuriating, smug, and far too attractive for someone who treats our shared parking like a declaration of war. Sure, I could handle all of that, but what I can’t handle is his Energizer Bunny stamina and apparent addiction to beautiful women—an addiction that plays out for hours every night through the insultingly thin wall between our bedrooms.

🔪Raiden Kane knows exactly what he’s doing to me, and I’d dare say it’s the best game he’s ever played. My tolerance meter is wearing thin.

💣Especially when he looks at me with those lazy bedroom eyes that suggest he already knows exactly how I taste.

🗡️Work is supposed to keep me sane. It’s my escape. Until it isn’t. Our worlds collide, and the man I’d happily strangle on principle starts turning up where he doesn’t belong.

⚰️Coincidence? Please.
🔪There’s something off about Raiden Kane. He’s hiding secrets of his own, and I fully intend to pry them from his cocky, sinful soul . . . one delicious mistake at a time.
💣Living next door to him was a mistake.
🗡️Falling for him would be worse.
⚰️But underestimating him?
🔪That might be the one thing that gets me killed.

🎙️PERSONAL REVIEW🎙️
🔆🔆🔆I loved this book. I did not put this book down unless I needed coffee or to use the restroom. I devoured this book within 4 hours and laughed myself silly. These are the type of books that I enjoy most. They have the ability to just suck you in and you can’t put it down. This so far has been my favorite book of 2026.‼️

This book got me hooked from the start and kept me listening until the end. There was so much action and funny banter between the 2 main characters plus that hate sex was hot AF.

🎧 Now for the audiobook, it is performed in duet narration by CJ Bloom and Patrick Zeller. They did an amazing job bringing to life this book and the characters. It was a pleasure listening to them and the chemistry, banter and spice was amazing on audio!
