I like this idk if its going to turn into a MFM or MMF because how it is. But sex wise its a MF.

We have Nora who is a mod to her friends she has a flirty relationship with Lucen and Kaelum but this book you see more of it with Lucen Kaelum is there but he isnt there ya know? Both guys are so fun and cute.

Alot of the relationship is long distance until 80% of the book lots of flirting, banter and phone/video calls. I do wish it was alittle more fleshed out to see the relationship grow.
Even if they've know eachother for years. Let's see what book 2 holds

No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy time, no virgins

i genuinely cannot remember the last time i wanted to completely binge read a book in one sitting like this. even though ping me is only 182 pages which, respectfully, was way too short because i needed more! it was so well-paced, heavily detailed & somehow still managed to pull me completely into the story. as a gamer myself, this book felt surprisingly relatable in so many ways. gaming has genuinely been something that has healed & helped me through difficult times. at one point in my life, it was absolutely a coping mechanism too. that aspect of the story just hits differently for me. i love molly’s writing. i’ve been a fan since the order of the unseen series, & honestly… this is giving me that same level of obsession all over againnn. now i need the next book immediately because i need to see how kaelum comes into play with luce & nora??? molly, respectfully, i am begging for the next booook.

Nora’s last relationship was definitely not it for her, especially because her ex made her feel like a waste, neglecting all of her feelings and pretty much her whole being too. After her breakup, she reaches out to her best friends Kaelum and Lucien, and through moderating their streams (masked gamers), she finds a bit of herself again for a couple of months, until she endeavors to discover her newish self. With the help of… Lucien, of course.

Ping Me came at just the right time.
It was such a quick and entertaining read. It was also super cute and definitely sexy, hello Lucien.. (and Kaelum). It was corny at times, yet it had totally its place amidst the spicy bits, so well balanced. Honestly, perfection. A blend of all the things I like in contemporary dark romance in one short book.

I had such a great time, I devoured Ping Me in one sitting. I just knew I would like it a lot when Molly started teasing it and well, here we are, confirming it.

I’m eager to read the second book already, because if Lucien got me feeling that way, then how will I feel when it’s gonna be both of them, huh???

Thanks so much to Molly for the arc. You made my week.

This book was honestly way to short for my liking.
“When is it my turn” screaming, crying, throwing up.
Yes this was honestly corny sometimes and made you want to throw up but Lucien and Kaelum definitely made it all worth it. I feel like I am now going to be obsessed with them forever and will not be able to get over them.
Also THERE IS A SECOND ONE?? Yes I’m sat and I definitely will be devouring that one as well.
I honestly do understand if people don’t like this but honestly I spent most of the book giggling like a school girl all because she was getting treated like a princess.
I enjoyed Mollys writing as per usual, I just love how easy her books are to binge in one sitting.

“I know I probably sound like a psychopath, but baby, I need you the same way fire needs oxygen… the way stars need gravity. I’m fucking orbiting you at this point.”

This was a quick, fun read and a perfect starting book for anyone dipping their toes into the why-choose genre! Our three characters have been friends for half a decade, meeting in college before living on opposite sides of the country, but they still keep in touch between gaming and video calls. Lenora had recently gotten out of a toxic relationship and has not been able to "feel" anything since, so she calls on her best friend Lucian, who does sex calls to help people out. They also have their other best friend, Kaelum, who is equally as flirty!

This is my top book of 2026 so far. Molly absolutely crushed it with Ping Me. I consumed this book in half a day and never wanted it to end. I finished it yesterday and it's still all I'm thinking about.
"Whatever you want, Nora, you can have. Do whatever you want with me. I'd let you ruin my life, willingly. Actually, I'd be fucking honored to be ruined by you."
That quote came from the Pleasure Dom, Lucien. He quickly became one of my favorite MMC's. Ping Me had all the angst and yearning in this novella. The dynamic between Nora, Lucien, and even Kaelum (I can't wait to see where that goes!) Molly did amazing with the streamer and gamer atmosphere as well! I loved that she showed community outside of the main characters and a little bit of the ins and outs as a moderator. Jasmine was a great comedic relief too and made me giggle quite a few times.
The way Lucien took care of Nora made me swoon! The affirmations and helping Nora during a moment of a panic attack was perfection. The long-distance relationship between them felt realistic and so well done. Lucien and Kaelum took amazing care of Nora, even if they were on a different coast.
I was literally kicking my feet and grinning while reading Ping Me. The friends to lovers was one of the best I've ever read.
I could word vomit all day about this book and I'm trying not to spoil...so just trust me when I say you need to pick up this read! So well done Molly!! Thank you for this amazing story and I can't wait to see where it goes next!! <3

Gamer friends to lovers

This was short but fun story about Lenora and her two long time & now long distance friends, Kaelum and Lucien. Lenora is taking some time after a bad relationship to work on herself and discover things about herself. Coincidentally, this happens to intersect with her finally opening her eyes to what was right in front of her with Lucien.

It's a fast burn to me - Lucien has basically been on a leash, being there for her as her friend, gaming with her and Kaelum, normal things.... But as soon as Lenora makes her request & gives her enthusiastic consent? He goes zero to one hundred in the most respectful way possible. He helps her discover a few things about herself, shows her how awful her ex was, and everyone has a good time.

And then there's Kaelum. He really is being a good, patient boy this whole time and it drove me up a wall. I need more info! I need to know WHAT is going on with him and Lucien, and I need to know what happens after that last text! This was a fun one, quick little palate cleaner. This was my first book by Molly Doyle and I look forward to reading more.

I received an advanced copy from the author and this is my honest review.

5 STARS, HANDS DOWN!

I devoured this book, and thoroughly enjoyed the ride along with Nora. Lucien is definitely my favorite, but Kaelum is precious as well. The banter between the boys was funny and delicious, but when all 3 them come together? Sparks fly!

That dedication page was not lying! Lucien is the book boyfriend we all need and DESERVE. Honestly, this book was just as healing to read as it was spicy. It had me taking notes whilst kicking my feet, giggling and blushing.

WARNING: If you couldn't already tell based off the number of pages, this book ends on a cliffhanger BUT it's definitely worth the quick read, and I think we all know what to expect/hope for book 2. 😉

If you enjoy any of these tropes:

💜 Words of affirmation
❤️ Degradation
💙 Praise
💜 Aftercare
❤️ Mental check-ins
💙 Yearning
💜 Pierced & tatted MCs
❤️ Pleasure Dom
💙 Masked Streamers
💜 She comes first, always
❤️ Size Difference
💙 FWB/Friends to Lovers
💜 Toys are friends, not enemies

then this is the book for you. 😍

Ping Me by Molly Doyle

I'm going to start off by saying that I will read ANYTHING Molly writes. If she writes it I'm going to read it! When she announced this book I was instantly excited and I couldn't wait to read it.

After Nora gets out of her relationship she is just trying to find herself again. She is best friends with Lucien and Kaelum who are also gamers and they wake up on video call and go to sleep on video call.

Nora feels that recently she is starting to develop feelings for the guys. Every time she gets a notification from them she starts getting these butterflies that she hasn't felt in a long time. When one thing leads to another she decides to ask Lucien if he can help her out with figuring out what she likes again.

When I tell you the spice was spicy I couldn't get enough of it! 🫣🥵 From the spicy text messages to the package he had sent to her house. I didn't want it to end because I wanted the spice to keep going. Like this man got on a flight for one night to make all her fantasies come to life! LIKE STOP IT RIGHT NOW! I NEED more immediately

This was such a cute fun spicy read!

Nora and Lucien and Kaelum are best friends but have always had some tension going on between them. Nora is the fmc who has just gotten out of a crappy relationship and she is trying to find herself. Her story is such a healing read. If you have ever found yourself in a crappy relationship where you’re put down, constantly unsure, insecure, and throw in some ptsd from trauma caused by that shitty relationship then this book might heal a small part of you. Nora is treated like a Queen by Lucien and Kaelum. I’m not sure if this is MFM or MF bc we only see her take things further with Lucien but that ending has me thinking maybe MFM? Fingers crossed?🤞🏼 That would be the biggest f u to Nora’s ex lol.

Some of the wording was a little cringey but I was able to ignore it bc I was hooked and wanted to see how the story played out. If you want masked gamer streamers in your books who treat the fmc as she deserves and never less than, then you’ll enjoy this short read 😊

MOLLY IS BACK. PING ME IS EVERYTHING A HOT AND STEAMY STREAMER NOVELLA SHOULD BE.

First off, KAE AND LUCE AT THE SAME MF TIME. We don't get that...but I WOULD ABSOLUTELY BE OKAY WITH THAT.

However, I am a HOE for dark hair and dark (honey) eyes. Top off the fact that the man is a pleasure dom covered in tattoos, 6'5", and is...PIERCED. FUCK ME UP. THE MOUTH ON THAT MAN. I WON'T RECOVER.

The dynamic between Kae and Luce alone was enough to entice me to keep reading. It was such a feet kicking moment.

Now our girl Nora. Sweet Nora has never had a fair man in her entire life. Her ex is the core douchebag. She has had to rebuild herself. But that changes when our boy steps in. I love that they have such safety and comfort in their dynamic.

I can't say much more without giving too much away. Give this a chance. Molly didn't disappoint writing this. I already can't wait for more!

I love Molly’s books and i’m so glad she’s come back! When she said she was writing a contemporary romance I was immediately sat.

I ate this book up pretty fast, I enjoy a novella here and there so this one was a spicy good time. I thought this book was okay, nothing really amazed me like her other novellas. I think the main issue I had was it took forever for them to meet up. Towards the middle I started losing interest, there was a couple unnecessary scenes and I just kept thinking can they just meet already? 😅🥲

The one thing I love about Molly’s books is the spice. These scenes were good and I was sweating with some 🤭 The FMC was being treated and what a lucky girl she is, wdym she can have 2 masked gamers like yes pls.

I think they’ll be a Book 2 so I guess that’s why Molly ended it the way she did. I’ll probably read book 2 since this was an easy read with likeable characters. I will be patiently waiting for order of the unseen book 5 🙂‍↕️

3/5⭐️ | 4/5🌶️

honestly, this was exactly what i needed as a palette cleanser 😂 a quick, easy, completely unserious read that i could fly through without having to emotionally invest too much.

the masked streamer concept was fun and different, and i liked the online dynamic between the characters. was there a ton of plot or deep character development? no. but i don’t think that’s really what this book was trying to be either. sometimes you just need a short, spicy book to reset after a heavier read, and this definitely did the job.

the spice was a solid 4/5 for me. molly doyle knows her audience, and this book wasted absolutely no time getting to the point lol. 🔥

overall, a decent 3-star read for me. nothing groundbreaking and probably not one i’ll think about for very long, but it was entertaining, spicy, and easy to finish in one sitting. sometimes a book can just be a fun little palette cleanser, and that’s exactly what ping me was for me.

Yes, it’s hot.
Yes, the masked men had me feral.
Yes, there is spice.

But more than that, there is a healing journey through friendship and love.

And Mr will talk you through it!?!? OH LAWD 🫠 yes please.

BABES, I am at the beach reading this. I’m unwell in the best way. I’m pretty sure sand was flying everywhere with my feet kicking like a school girl 😂

Who doesn’t love, masked men, gamers, flirty banter, friends and growth.

Nora is trying to find herself after a shitty relationship and who is there to help her, Luce & Kal. Not only that but she wants to find that confidence and power within herself. What makes it even better is these two boys are all about our girl. They support her, cherish her and honestly just adore her.

And when she asked for assistance, they’re not saying no and let me tell you.. it is HOT 🥵 GIRL phone sec never sounded so good 🫠🫠 llllaaaaawwwwddd!

And to leave me hanging like that! Psh what happens next 👀

Luce is a favorite of mine but I cannot wait to kal to surprise me 👀

You gotta read this, it’s such a good time!

Ping Me by Molly Doyle is a masked streamer romance. It has gamers-to-lovers, moderator x streamer, friends with benefits, and so much more. It follows the healing journey of Nora who is a moderator for her two gamer friends, Lucien anf Kaelum. In this book we see more of the relationship between Nora and Lucien with scene of Kaelum thrown in. I also love Nora's relationship with her female best friend, Jasmine, becasue she had be cackling with her scenes more than once. This book is all about exploration and not settling for less than you deserve. It is a quick and easy read with passion, chemistry, spice, banter, friendship, healing, and so much more. I binged this in one sitting and it left me wanting more. It does end in a way that leaves it open for a second book involving Kaelum more.

Okay but masked gamers, best friends, flirting, gaming, and spice? Molly Doyle knew EXACTLY what she was doing. 👀🔥

I absolutely loved Nora’s healing journey and watching her slowly find her confidence again. Her friendships felt genuine, the streamer/gaming world felt natural, and the chemistry between Nora, Lucien, and Kaelum had me 👀 the entire time.

And Lucien? Book boyfriend material. The attentiveness, the pet names, the way he made Nora feel safe… sir, please. 🫠

The spice was 🔥🔥🔥 and the tension?? DELICIOUS. I’m officially convinced Molly Doyle has a personal vendetta against my ability to act normal while reading. 😂

This was such a fun, heartfelt, spicy read with characters I genuinely cared about and now I NEED more Kaelum. Immediately. 👀

Oh my god! That was hot as hell! Gimme book 2…like right now!!!

I went into this thinking ‘okay, another masked man book. Going to be a stalker right? Someone the FMC doesn’t know. How predictable.’ Boy was I wrong!!!

Our FMC, Lenora reconnects with her two college best friends following a very tough breakup and it’s almost like years of no contact just didn’t exist and they are back to joking, talking, playing games, a platonically flirting like the good old college days. Only, Lenora cannot help by wonder if it is only all platonic, or if there is something more.

Gotta admit, us book girlies love a masked man who talks you through it. I devoured this book in one sitting and am left hot under the collar and edged, wanting more.

I absolutely loved Nora, Lucien, and Kaelum in this novella! Friends to lovers is my favorite trope of all time, so having that + they’re all gamers (Lucien and Kaelum are masked streamers) + friends from college? Sign. Me. Up. I also enjoyed seeing Nora’s confidence in who she is grow as she connected with Lucien throughout the story.
I also loved seeing how supportive and encouraging Jasmine was to Nora - she gave Nora the push she needed to get out of her own way and go for what she wanted with Lucien.
I could not put this novella down once I started it - huge thank to you to Molly for the ARC and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for book 2!

Ping Me: A Masked Streamer Romance by Molly Doyle

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 stars)

I just finished Ping Me by Molly Doyle and absolutely loved it! It was my first time reading a masked gamer romance and it was total fire. Nora's journey to finding her confidence again was so beautiful to watch and her chemistry with Lucien and Kaelum was incredible. Lucien is officially a top-tier book boyfriend! My only tiny critique is that I wish the chapter POVs were labeled for smoother transitions, but it’s still a 5-star read.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves gaming romances, protective book boyfriends and stories with a strong healing journey.

Gods that was hot. HOT.

Literally downed a bottle of water and looking for my vibe.

Lucien? My GOD. every single word that man said was perfect. Everything we want in a book boyfriend and in real life. Like he says, bare minimum right? 🙌🏼

I’d let that man drag me by my hair anywhere. 100%

Now, part 2, bring baby K into the picture Molly 😈

Also, what a perfect fucking reminder, we deserve more. And we never have to settle again. Never again.

Oh. My. Gods. This was SO GOOD. I absolutely devoured this in basically one sitting and have zero regrets. Lenora and Lucien were so, so great together, and I ate them up. Their friendship, the relationship, the yearning, and overall flirting? SO good.

I'm both a huge gamer and reader, so I felt even more attached to this story for that very reason, because it truly felt like it was true to being a gamer and streamer (as someone who used to stream video games)!

The spicy scenes? So well done. The banter? Immaculate. The flirting? Top tier.

Oh, and that final page? Diabolical. I can't wait for the second book because I need to know what happens next. Not going to go into spoilers, but everyone needs to read this book.

More. More. More.

Did I mention I want MORE???

I ate this up. Nora? Obsessed with her. Lucien? I need one of my own immediately, thanks. Kaelum? Also hot. Also love him. Also very much complicating my feelings here😂
.l

But Lucien??? Yeah. That’s my man. I want him. I’m calling dibs.

Basically I am entirely too invested in Nora, Lucien, Kaelum, and whatever is about to happen between them, and I need MORE immediately.

Did I say that already?

MORE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
