Clinton H Simpson is an Amazon bestselling author of thrillers, horror, and post apocalyptic fiction.
His Palisade series began with Palisade Meridian: Fallout Cruise, a survival thriller that asks a terrifying question: What happens when nuclear war erupts while thousands of passengers are stranded aboard a cruise ship? The story continues through Palisade Horizon: Hostile Waters and Palisade Survivors: Veracruz, completing the Palisade trilogy.
His newest novel, Ready or Not, Here I Come: The Origin of Harlan Hayes, takes readers into supernatural horror. In 1883, thirteen year old Harlan Hayes was murdered during a game of hide and seek in the Missouri Ozarks. More than a century later, a group of young adults touches his headstone and says the words: "Tag, you're it." They think nothing will happen. They're wrong.
Clinton is also the author of the upcoming science fiction novel Mars Ascendant, the beginning of an epic story about humanity’s future on Mars and a colony beginning to question Earth’s control.
Across genres, Clinton’s stories focus on ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances, the choices they make when the rules disappear, and how far they will go to protect the people they love.
When he isn’t writing, Clinton is a business owner who enjoys playing guitar, painting, cooking, gardening, and developing the next story that probably won’t let his characters have an easy day.
Every book just keeps getting better. The scenes and characters come to life and I can picture it all in my head vividly because of the extraordinary talent of the writer. Please don’t stop writing this series!!
I read the sample of the first book on Amazon. It caught my interest and I purchased all three books. I started the first book and each time I put my Kindle down I couldn’t wait to get back to reading and getting involved in the plot. When I read, I usually view scenes in my head and you, the author, described everything with words and structure that flowed easily. The only problem with reading each book - I didn’t want to stop reading. I just finished the last book while enjoying my morning coffee. Well done, Clinton Simpson! I’m a woman in my mid 80s and you made my spare time reading an enjoyable day/night past time. It was difficult putting my Kindle down to accomplish daily tasks. I really wanted to get back to each book and share the adventure word for word. I look forward to reading more of your work.
