4.25⭐️ Carina Taylor with another hit! I was thinking this was gonna be a typical marriage of convenience where they get married in a courthouse cause someone needs an inheritance and whatnot. This was not that. Okay I mean yes, Zane needs to be married to inherit his dad’s ranch, but they don’t just jump in and get married immediately. They actually pretend to date (but date) for a second, and then get engaged, then married. So I wouldn’t even say this is a marriage of convenience. I would say it’s a mutually beneficial marriage. Practical. Realistic. Which most marriage of convenience books are like the most unrealistic circumstances ever. Ultimately it was just different and I loved that.
I enjoyed Bliss and Zane and the characters from the previous books. I knew I was going to love their story when they were mentioned in Charlie and Max’s book. I really wasn’t disappointed. It kind of lacked a bit in some ways. I think I wanted more page time of them being together and whatnot. Like weeks and a month would go by and I was like wait, that time is important.
Anyways. Zane and Bliss. They had great chemistry. Bliss was super in love from the start which made the tension even greater. And watching Zane realize he was falling in love with her was just too sweet. They were just so wholesome and the story was lighthearted.
I enjoyed the found family, the plot, the romance, the small town vibes, the ranch life. Especially the ranch life. I grew up on a farm so it was refreshing to read about it.
This book was different than your typical marriage of convenience so I enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully this isn’t the last book in this series. There were hints that it may not be so we will see!

I enjoyed Bliss and Zane and the characters from the previous books. I knew I was going to love their story when they were mentioned in Charlie and Max’s book. I really wasn’t disappointed. Sometimes you just need a romance that's fun, comforting, and doesn't leave you emotionally exhausted, and this book was exactly that kind of read.
I'm always a fan of a marriage-of-convenience story, so I was immediately intrigued by the premise. Bliss and Zane each have their own reasons for entering a fake marriage, and I thought their motivations felt believable without becoming overly dramatic.
What really made the story work for me was the chemistry between them. Bliss's longtime secret crush added just enough emotional tension to balance all the humor, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. Their banter was playful, their interactions felt natural, and watching their fake relationship slowly become something real was simply enjoyable.
I also appreciated how low-stress the story was. There was enough conflict to keep the plot moving, but it never became overly angsty or emotionally heavy. It struck a nice balance between romance, humor, and heartfelt moments, making it an easy book to breeze through.
The small-town ranch setting added plenty of charm, and I couldn't help smiling whenever Bliss tried to navigate her mother's relentless matchmaking attempts. Those family dynamics brought a lot of humor to the story while also giving the romance an extra push.
Overall, this was a sweet, entertaining romance that delivered exactly what I was hoping for. It may not have been an all-time favorite, but it was a genuinely enjoyable, feel-good read that left me with a smile.

Ah, I loved this story! I read it in a day. It was a quick and fun read and I really enjoyed it. Betting on Bliss is the third book in Carina Taylor’s Pine Ridge Ranch series. I have been waiting on Zane and Bliss’ book and it was just perfect!
Zane and Bliss were friends but they found themselves in a marriage of convenience where they found their relationship changing. It was fun to read about them spending time together and falling for each other. They were a lot of fun together, I liked their easy banter and the way that they seemed to just know each other.
They were a breath of fresh air to read about! I loved getting to know them better and it was fun to see some of the other characters through their eyes. The side characters were amazing as always! They had an easy connection and you could tell that they cared about each other. Reading about their work was also fun, I am definitely more of a city girl so it was cool to read about their lives.

I have said it before and I'm certain I will say it again... when it comes to witty banter, Carina Taylor is the queen! I always look forward to her books knowing the banter is going to keep me smiling... and when you throw in a cowboy, jilted groom and a marriage of convenience too!? Yes, please! I was definitely excited for this one and it did not disappoint. I loved these two right from the start. Zane 's proposal skills may need some work, and I loved that Bliss wasn't afraid to let him know it. The back and forth between these two was fantastic, and the chemistry was even better! Truly, I just couldn't get enough of them together. Their story had me laughing out loud and I couldn't put it down. If you love good banter and a great ranch setting, this is one not to be missed.

Bliss and Zane’s story stole my heart completely. I love being back in Pine Ridge and seeing it through the eyes of two hardworking individuals who are just trying to make an honest living off of the land they love. The banter and teasing, understanding and loyalty is unmatched. I will also now forever think of vise grips as more of a romantic gesture instead of a tool.
One thing I particularly enjoyed about the arranged marriage trope in this book is that there was no end date agreed upon. I found it refreshing to have a person simply say “I want to be married” and have both parties agree to that instead of figuring out how to end the arrangement before it even began. The cameo appearances from prior stories in this series just add to the fun and really, I loved this book from start to finish! Take a chance and add this to your current read today!

I think this is my favorite of the series and let me share why: *dual pov
*love me some good and witty internal dialogue *everyone deserves and needs a grandpa like Bliss'. So many endearing moments and times you think awe.
*all the townspeople are solid, down to earth people. Loved those characters. Bliss' family was no nonsense and fabulous

*we get a taste of real farm life. Bliss is farm strong and of strong character.
Marriage of convenience really isn't my favorite trope but I think what the author did with it was great. I wasn't expecting any of how the story unfolded. Or how the conflict and true romance came to be. I read this in about 2 days. It was such a fun read.

This is the 3rd book in the Pine Ridge Ranch series. It could be read as a standalone story even though previous couples are in this book. It is a kisses only contemporary romcom.
I have a problem with spoilers in books ie.. Knowing specific events are going to take place especially later in the book. It is obvious from the first page what is going to happen here, but it takes half of the book to get there. That was a little frustrating for me personally. It prevents me from enjoying what's going on when I know what's coming... That's just me, I know. Anyway....
The last half of the book made up for that in my opinion. This one gives feels. If you're a kissing person, I think you'll like some of these!

This is a closed door, dual pov romance. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone novel. These two are so adorable. Zane is definitely emotionally stunted when it comes to Bliss but he definitely provides quite the entertainment while he sorts that out. He is caring and always makes sure she has the help she needs even if he doesn't want to admit what that means. He needs a swift kick to get him to open his eyes but once he does, you melt at how he treats Bliss. Bliss is such an amazing woman. She may not open up easy to others but she cares about others more than she will ever let on. I love the people in her life that rally around her and help support her while they figure out what exactly is going on between them.

2.5 stars for this one. Until 80% of the book, the MCs are just roommates (maybe coworkers) who are polite with each other and share an occasional joke together. And then suddenly, they start thinking they are 'in love' out of nowhere.
The last few chapters are so lame. I think the author wrote the ending in a hurry without thinking it through.

Holy hay bales this was so stinking cute!! This might be a tie for my favorite Carina book.
I have been waiting for Bliss and Zane and it was worth it.
Even though Bliss has harbored feelings for Zane, she doesn’t make it easy on him and I loved that about her. She’s a tough, no nonsense gal and exactly what Zane needs in every way. The way they work together and banter and tease and support each other. Ugh, I could not get enough. I seriously want to reed this again right now.
Zane’s healing was so satisfying. Watching his jilted/broken heart heal as he begins to grow closer to Bliss. The man becomes a teenager with a crush and so swoony. Loved to see it!
The humor and quirkiness, the sweetness and swoon. This was the happiness I needed.

This story is everything I was hoping it would be. We get lots of cameos from the previous love stories and a romance for the books. Pun very much intended. Bliss has been crushing on Zane for a while. Zane has unintentionally friend-zoned her after being left at the altar by his ex. When Zane comes up with a brilliant plan of a mutually beneficial marriage, Bliss hesitantly agrees. And then it starts. The downfall of Zane. Or, the end of "No Dating Zane". And I was here for it! He was adorable! The whole story, he treated her so great and just was so kind. He was easy to root for! And when he and Bliss are mutually pining for each other??? ALL THE FEELS!!

Bliss’s longtime crush added an extra layer of emotion, while Zane’s past made it easy to understand why he was hesitant to open his heart again. Zane and Bliss are perfect for each other but Zane has sworn off love and Bliss is trying to get over her crush on him. I loved their banter and easy friendship and Zane’s bumbled first proposal made me laugh! I really enjoyed the cameos of characters from other books in this series. The heat level is no spice but the chemistry between Zane and Bliss is just right!
On a personal note - this book reinforced that as a parent, it’s never a good idea to pressure your adult kids when it comes to big life decisions!

“Being someone’s friend means supporting them even when it’s uncomfortable.” After being left in the altar, Zane needs a wife he can trust, even if he is not in love with her, in order to inherited the family ranch. Enter in the picture Bliss. Hardworking, tough and reliable. And they are fiends. What can go wrong, right? An ordinary proposal, a deal involving sheep and matchmaker mother make things difficult but worth the risk. Sweet and funny.

Zane needs a wife so his father will let him take over the ranch and Bliss as the last unmarried daughter is sick of her mother throwing men at her. Zane fumbles through his proposal until he shows Bliss his renovated master bathroom and agrees to her stipulations about her sheep. They were friends first who helped each other out and that continues in their marriage. Until feelings are involved and he fumbles again. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments in this fade to black friends to lovers marriage of convenience romance.

Zane and Bliss were so much fun! Their friends-to-more, marriage of convenience spurred on by meddling family and expectations was tackled in both a hilarious and heart warming way. I love both of their characters, and Zane’s slow fall and healing was so good. There were some things in the last part of the book that I just wasn’t sold on, but not enough to make me want to stop reading. Overall, a fun and delightful read!

It was so fun to return to Pine Ridge for Bliss’s and Zane’s story! Bliss intrigued me from the first book in this series, and I’m glad she got her happily ever after. I loved seeing more of Charlie and Magnolia, too. Even though this is part of a series, you can enjoy this book without having read the others. (But they are so good, too, so you really should read them!) I loved this book, and I think (hope!) there will be at least one more - Piper and the new vet, maybe?

If you are looking for a funny rom com, you definitely need to read this one. A marriage of convenience is bargained between Bliss and Zane. Zane needs a bride to be able to purchase his father’s ranch. Bliss just wants to avoid all of the men her mother is parading into their home as potential husbands. You will find yourself having a good laugh reading this book!

This was a great read! I absolutely devoured it in a day. The story was great and I loved Zane and Bliss. I love how capable and down to earth Bliss is and I love how they first got to know each other. Their romance isn’t typical but it is adorable.
There was some swearing (<10), no using the Lords name or F word.
Intimacy happens off page between a married couple. Kisses were slightly descriptive (mentioned tongues) and make-outs.

I loved Bliss and Zane’s story! I’ve read both the first two books in the series, but it’s been long enough with lots and lots of books between that I’ve forgotten any mentions of these two in those books. So it is an easy standalone read. Their banter is fantastic and I loved how their love came about, starting more as friends and growing.

This is such a fun story. Zane totally fails in asking Bliss to marry him, it was actually so funny. He seems to be clueless since he thinks he doesn’t want to get married but has to so he can keep the family farm. Can he figure out how to win her heart? This story has fun banter, laugh out loud moments and in the end a sweet and heartwarming story.

Bliss and Zane are so much fun together! They have such great banter, but they also work together so well. Watching them fall in love was wonderful. I loved them and the humor and the pacing of the story.

Loved this one! Adored Zane & Bliss together! Always love a marriage of convenience and this one was so good! I loved their friendship and no nonsense with each other, the support they had for one another & realizing their feelings.

A fun standalone addition to the series (but also good to be read in order so you know some history), I loved this revisit to Pine Ridge! A fun marriage of convenience, Bliss is the perfect match for Zane in every way. Enjoy this book soon!

I loved everything but the third act break up. It seemed overdone and unnecessary and kind of took away from the story. But seriously, everything else had me hooked 🪝 Carinas characters always hit just right. I love their with and genuine love for life.

Despite my rating, I really did have fun with this book. It was light and a super quick read. The setting was fun and I really appreciated how the author portrayed their support of each other, even before becoming a couple. It had all the wit that I have come to expect from a Taylor book (and I've read nearly all). Despite the fun that I had, I couldn't connect with the characters in the way I have with other books by this author. I with there was a little more in the middle of the book showing how they were growing together. I bet that I would have adored this had I read it in late high school though.

Laughed My Head Off
Oh, how I love to laugh out loud, and thus book gave me numerous opportunities to do that. Zane and Bliss are perfect together. Add in their families, friends, and goats, and the story writes itself. This story is so relatable and so entertaining!

Zane and Bliss
This is an interesting and romantic story about a couple of hardworking characters. I enjoyed reading as they figured things out and got to know each other better. And to love each other. I’ll be reading more books by Carina Taylor.
