This was probably my second favorite in the series. Nothing beats book one. I’ll be honest I was nervous. With the ending of book two, I was worried about a love triangle trope taking full effect. But to my pleasant surprise this was very much a love story. More than book one or two.
I do wish we got to see a bit more development of Mia or Emery. But SPOILER: they are just side characters. Specifically the fade out of Emery was downplayed, I almost ended up feeling sorry for him. *Almost*.
