I blew through these books. Literally. I think it took me four days to get through them, and it might have been shorter had I not had an event I attended. Each book is a good mix of fast pacing and decent character development as we move through the story.
I will say that if you come into this not expecting cliffhangers, you're going to be disappointed.
That aside, I love the series so far and was really hoping it was only a trilogy because I know there are no other books out and I want the whole story, dang it! Oh well. I'm enjoying the way this story is going. The plot has me curious what's going to happen next, and honestly I really want Audrey to become friends with Ciaran. I know that probably sounds ridiculous considering the circumstances. I'm a fan of both Ciaran and Livy, and somehow I feel like seeing them on a date will be a delight.
I'm also loving Remy, though I do hope he'll continue to grow as a character, too.
Overall, this has been one series I couldn't put down, and I can't wait to see the next installment.

This was probably my second favorite in the series. Nothing beats book one. I’ll be honest I was nervous. With the ending of book two, I was worried about a love triangle trope taking full effect. But to my pleasant surprise this was very much a love story. More than book one or two.
I do wish we got to see a bit more development of Mia or Emery. But SPOILER: they are just side characters. Specifically the fade out of Emery was downplayed, I almost ended up feeling sorry for him. *Almost*.

Oh Remy 🫠🫠🫠
Remy has such a chokehold on me. Everyone else gets the morally gray playboy side, but Audrey gets the soft, sweeter, and very spicy side of him. He's fiercely protective, even when he wants to shrink back from his duties. Emery is about to get straight up unhinged, I can tell. I will be foaming at the mouth ready for the next installment!

I LOVE these books! Great spooky season read. Blair has me in a death grip waiting on the next one.
This book packed in a lot of action. Secrets come out, everything shifts, and it’s leaving me on the edge of my seat to know what happens next.

I read this book with a local book club and we had the best time!
This story was so gripping and the length makes it a very easy read. I went from book 1 to book 2 to book 3 in the series in no time at all and really couldn't stop!
Waiting eagerly--but not patiently--for season 2.
