A famous opera singer, a private chef and one very chaotic family made for such a fun Christmas romance!

Sabrina’s job came with some rather amusing demands, and the glimpse into the world of private chefs was an interesting touch. The festive countryside setting was another lovely bonus!

Sabrina was confident, funny and more than capable of handling the family, while Santi was a charming, devoted dad. My favourite thing about him was how upfront he was about wanting Sabrina. No games, just a man who knew what he wanted! Their chemistry was lovely, Vi was adorable, and the familiar character cameos made it even better.

A quick festive read with family chaos, humour, Christmas cheer and some delicious heat. The ending was just as lovely, making this such an enjoyable little holiday treat.

A fun seasonal romance that delivered plenty of steam along the way!

Beautiful, short, and spicy Christmas novella from Elodie! 🎄❤️‍🔥

We have Sabrina, a private chef hired to work for the Vale family during their Christmas celebration, and Santi, a single dad and famous soprano singer, who is the one who hires her!

Well, it’s actually so interesting to read about private chefs and how they work for billionaires. You get to see their unique demands (ehemm, Santi’s ex-wife, LOL 🤭).

They fall for each other so quickly, and OMGGGGG, I LOVE how straightforward Santi is! 🥺 He doesn’t hesitate at all to tell Sabrina that he’s interested in her right from the start!!!!

It’s such a heartwarming ending, too! These two are definitely going to have a HOT and STUFFED Christmas together! 🎄❤️‍🔥

And I’m so glad we get to see some of my favorite characters from Elodie’s other series! 😍 Such a treat for us readers!

Blended family dynamics and operatic egos give us lots of fun but don’t dampen the sparks at all; Santi and Sabrina are sizzling and perfectly matched. I especially loved Santi’s cheesy dad humor.😊

This is a Christmassy novella in which the FMC gets hired by a glamorous family of musicians, to cook healthy but delicious food for their aging patriarch with health issues. During her stint as a private chef, Sabrina learns to know the man's son, Santiago, who is a famous singer and a devoted, divorced dad. Recommended for when you want a quick, no-angst holiday read with no deep dark secrets and no third act breakup.

Steam level: Some sexual content, pretty tame compared to some of the author's other works. Think less of the Alchemy series and more like the author's early contemporary romances that were originally published under another name,

Series status: Some characters from other Elodie Hart books make cameos here but this novella stands alone, it is not necessary to read anything else in order to understand this. Although you might want to. I generally enjoy this author's way with words and regardless of the subject matter, her books are always smartly plotted and well edited, with rich description and first-person narration that feels like you get in the character's head and understand their motivations, even when you don't like them. (But both main characters are likable here.)

This was such a fun little novella.
I read it all in bed last night 😂

I loved Sabrina. She is strong, fierce, goal orientated and funny.
Sabrina is an american, professional chef who needs a sponsored visa to be able to continue living and working in the UK.

Santi is sweet, charismatic and down to earth. He is also a world class opera singer from a family of classically trained singers.

Santi hires Sabrina as a live in chef for 4 weeks in order help his father get a better diet to aid his upcoming GLP treatment.
Santi and Sabrina instantly hit it off.

This was funny, cute and felt like being wrapped in a warm hug. A great little christmas novella.

I would have rated this a 5 but I just felt like there was was something missing.

This was a super quick, fun, and spicy read! I always enjoy the beginning of holiday season and getting into the spirit with some novellas that are full of fun heart & heat, and of course, Elodie is my go to gal! She never disappoints ;) Santi & Sabrina's novella was wild from start to finish with some twists that I definitely wasn't expecting LOL. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a quick holiday read as we near the end of the year!

Santi & Sabrina were too freaking cute. (Not English adorable, iykyk) I loved their professional banter and tension very clearly as soon as they met. The power dynamic as boss and employee was a fun time and although I wish we got more of them after they finally got together, I’m very satisfied with what we did get. Elodie can’t disappoint, I’ve loved all of her books and can’t wait for more 🥰

I really enjoyed this, the MC’s had great chemistry, the daughter was delightful and the total opposite of the ex-wife which was unbearable and over the top. However, she did manage to surprise me at the end. 😄
Also loved the Duplicity cameo 😍

Overall, a lovely read to get to into that Christmas spirit 🥰

As always, Elodie delivers! This is quick read, a Christmas novella. Santiago Vale needs a chef for the holidays to ease his father into a new medication he’ll be taking in the new year. In July, he interviews Sabrina and lays it out for her. At his home, his parents, his stepmom (who’s more his age than his father’s), his 10 year old daughter, HIS ex-wife and her boyfriend will all be there.

Santi sends her a very cute note just before she starts laying out the cast of characters and what to expect from each. He warns her that the ex will likely put her through her paces. Spoiler: she does.

A visit from an old friend, Brendan Sullivan, at a release party for the family’s holiday album, sends Santiago reeling when he thinks Brendan is flirting with Sabrina. (This takes place 18 months before Duplicity).

Santi drags her away from Brendan and into a pantry in the kitchen that is overrun with chefs and staff for their release party. Sabrina thinks:

Oh, dear Lord. That is the absolute last thing I need. He and his hot-felon look and overfamiliarity can well and truly get stuffed.

‘I can’t believe I’m even considering doing this,’ she mutters, and I grin evilly behind her. Unravelling my little chef is excellent fun, even considering the agony in my dick. Horny, conflicted Sabrina is even more entrancing than plain horny Sabrina

. ‘That’s not what I would call enthusiastic consent.’ I reach beneath the hem of her dress and brush my knuckles over her inner thighs, and she practically shoots through the ceiling.

‘Oh, for God’s sake, fine. But I think we should be quick.’ She hangs her head, having opened the window a crack, and I waste no time in clambering through.

‘You’re going to need to work on your begging,’

While there is no regret after for the deeds done, Sabrina realizes that Santi is her boss and she feels she crossed way too many professional lines. Santi checks in with her and lets her know the ball is in her court and he wants to pursue this.

‘I signed a contract,’ I say desperately. ‘I distinctly remember a clause about maintaining a professional demeanour.’ He dips his head to my ear so that his scent invades my senses and whispers, ‘Maybe we should add in a Santi clause.’

She takes a few days and finally decides it’s time to make her move and let him off the hook. Once they make a plan, they are both quite eager to move forward. An unexpected trip to A&E with the ex-wife almost derails things.

There’s a sweet epilogue with Brendan and Marlowe as well as their daughters.

What a surprise it is to see Elodie release a Christmas-themed novella this year.

I love Elodie's Christmas books (if you haven't read them yet, please do) and for me every book she writes is a must-read; it's no surprise that Elodie is one of my all-time favorite authors, I say this all the time I read one of her books.

Santiago (Santi) is a world-famous tenor. His father Dominic (Dom), also a tenor, is having health issues, so Santi hires this American girl named Sabrina to be the family chef for the holidays.
The attraction is at first sight. With the closeness that a luxury cabin provides, their feelings will be intensified by the delicious flavors and Christmas scents.
These two are definitely getting 🎁STUFFED🎁, like the title suggest, if you know what I mean 😏

Santi's daughter Violet (Vi) is a beautiful character. Luke the dog? So funny.
And it was absolutely delightful to read cameos from Elodie's previous books. Brendan from Duplicity, one of my favorite MMCs, brought me a big smile here.

To who knows Elodie's standards, this story is low on spice and high on Christmas feelings.

Sabrina is an ambitious, talented private chef navigating an extraordinarily demanding household and its many dietary preferences. Santi brings warmth, affection, and genuine devotion, particularly through his beautiful relationship with his daughter. The chaotic Vale family dynamics, including the complications involving his ex-wife, add further layers to their lives. This is Elodie’s Christmas novella, and it’s a little more lemon & herb than peri-peri… but don’t mistake that for lacking flavour! 😉🍋🔥

Meet Sabrina, an American chef trying to secure her future in England, armed with culinary skills, ambition and a festive family from hell who could test the patience of a saint! 😂

Then there’s Santiago Vale.

World-famous tenor. Billionaire. Sunshine personified. Hands-on dad. Walking flirtation hazard.

Oh, Santi! 🫠❤️

A man who turns up with contraband cheese and ridiculously expensive wine at midnight? Elodie, you KNOW your audience! 🧀🍷😂

The chemistry is delicious, the banter had me smiling, and the family dynamics are gloriously complicated. Add Christmas, a gorgeous Cotswolds estate, a cute dog and enough musical ego to fill the Royal Albert Hall, and you’ve got yourself one VERY tasty festive treat.

What I especially loved was the warmth beneath the humour. Santi is such a lovely, involved dad, Sabrina is strong and wonderfully relatable, and Elodie handles the medical elements with genuine care. There’s heart here alongside the heat, and it all feels beautifully balanced.

AND… those little cameos from Elodie’s wider universe? CHEF’S KISS. 😘🤌🏻

It’s short, sweet, spicy, funny and utterly charming. The perfect little palate cleanser between darker romances… because apparently my reading diet needs a balanced menu too! 😂🌶️

This was an absolutely fantastic short story and the perfect little indulgence to get me into the holiday spirit! 🎄❤️ It delivered just the right combination of holiday charm, humor, romance, and, of course, the delicious spice we've come to expect from Elodie Hart. For a shorter read, it certainly packed a punch and left me wishing I had just a little more time with these characters!

One of my favorite things about returning to the Elodieverse is the opportunity to revisit familiar faces. The reappearance of beloved characters from previous books is always such a treat! There's something incredibly satisfying about getting little glimpses into their lives beyond their own stories. It adds a wonderful sense of continuity and familiarity, making the fictional world feel that much more connected. Elodie has a way of making you feel like you're catching up with old friends, and I absolutely love that about her writing.

Now, let's talk about Santi and Sabrina! 🔥 Their whirlwind meet-cute was everything I wanted in a quick, steamy holiday romance. The attraction was immediate, the chemistry was undeniable, and their connection brought plenty of heat to the pages! I loved the energy between them and how their story managed to be both playful and passionate. There's something especially entertaining about two characters whose attraction practically leaps off the page, and these two certainly delivered!

Overall, Get Stuffed was a fun, festive, sexy little escape that reminded me why I enjoy Elodie Hart's books so much. It had familiar faces, new characters to fall for, plenty of chemistry, and just enough holiday magic to make it the perfect seasonal read. Sometimes you don't need an emotionally exhausting, complicated romance—you just want something entertaining, a little indulgent, and guaranteed to leave you smiling.
A delightful addition to the Elodieverse, and definitely worth the read! 🎄🔥

Sabrina is hired as a private holiday chef for a notoriously high-maintenance family at their stunning Cotswolds estate. Her boss is Santiago (Santi) Vale, Opera singer and devoted single dad to his sweet daughter, Vi.
Her main goal is to create healthy meals for his father, whipping him into shape but it turns out her biggest challenge is the dietary demands of Santi’s ex-wife, Vanessa, who even has her peeling chickpeas by hand!
Amidst the festive madness, Santi appears to be the only sane member of the family, the rest can “Get Stuffed”. She is drawn to his warm charming mannerisms, the devoted father and heated looks which could melt polar icecaps.
But.
Falling for my boss is not on the menu.
Highlights:
* Sabrina: I wish she could whip me up some GLP and Menopause friendly food, I found this so interesting being a woman of a certain age 😉 I loved how well she dealt with Santi’s family but even more than that, how she “managed” his ex-wife Vanessa.
* Santi: I love that he got his own love story, I remember him from Duplicity. I adored his relationship with his daughter Vi.
* Vi: What a cutie she is, her interaction with her Dad and Sabrina is just so heartwarming.
* Brendon: Oh sweet lord, we get to meet Brendon again, in his “naughtier” days before he settled down with Marlowe. He actually does Santi a favour by singing his praises (along with some heavy flirting of course!).
Final Thoughts:
I’ve finally found my favourite festive, spicy holiday romance. I’m a huge fan of Elodie’s writing, so mix that with some Christmas magic and it becomes the gift that delivers a joyous time 🎄

This novella is just as spicy as anything else in Ms Hart's catalog. Sabrina gets a holiday job working for the Vale family, well known for their vocal musical talent and presence in the classical music world. Santi is her primary contact and lays out who's who, who's not, and the ultimate challenge of getting the patriarch (Dom) ready for a GLP regimen after the New Year. Of course, there's the extra bonus of a secret cheese board promised (it was really a cheese board and while I am not a fan in real life for myself, it sounded scrumptious.)

However, with so many divas - figurative and literal - under one roof for a month - Sabrina has to maintain her professional boundaries. The kitchen is her turf. The diet is centered around Dom, and skinning chickpeas and using mineral water ONLY are not high on her priorities.

The food prep, including the shopping, sounds decadent. The thread-count of the linens sounds luxurious. And the insane heat between Sabrina and Santi would put that AGA to shame. This novella is definitely a HEA and Santi loves showcasing Sabrina's talent. Very boring guy with allllll the green flags - per Brendan Sullivan (from the Duplicity series). As always, the cameos from the other realms of Ms Hart's writing pop into this gem of a story and are thoroughly enjoyable.

I loved this, it’s a lovely seasonal read & a great story. I loved getting to know Santi & Sabrina, both of whom we’ve met before in Elodie’s books. Sparks fly between them from their first meeting, which soon get stronger & hotter Santiago is a world famous singer, & his family own a leading record label. Sabrina is a chef, & Santi employs her to cook for his family Christmas celebration at his country home in the Cotswolds. The food sounds amazing, & I would love to have been there, & his house sounds gorgeous!!

It’s a lot of fun as Sabrina meets Santi’s dysfunctional family, & there are interesting dynamics among exes & current partners, the most normal of whom seems to be Violet his delightful 10 year old daughter! Sabrina learns to cook some traditional Galician Christmas dishes of Santi’s family tradition. There’s cameo appearances of some characters from Elodie’s earlier books, which is a trademark of hers which I love as it anchors all of her books in the same London social scene.

It’s a gorgeous story, just the right length for a Christmas read - you could probably read it in an evening. It’s part of a set of 4 books by different authors, A Billionaire Christmas. Thanks to the author for an arc of this book, which I have read voluntarily; all opinions are my own.

This one did NOT disappoint! ❤️

At only 150 pages, it’s the perfect length for a fun, spicy holiday novella. I also loved getting a couple of cameos from her previous books! If you’ve read her other stories, you’ll appreciate those little surprises.

The spice and angst were spot on, and I loved reading about a strong female chef! What I especially enjoyed was that the characters didn’t have any deep-rooted issues weighing down the storyline. Instead, it was a fun, flirty, and entertaining read that had me smiling throughout!

And can we talk about how much Elodie used the title Get Stuffed throughout the book?! I laughed every single time!

“It’s a tight fit,” she says, rolling it up the final half an inch. “That’s what she said.”

The banter in this book was EVERYTHING! 🤣 The humor had me laughing, and I absolutely loved the characters.

If you’re looking for a quick, spicy holiday romance to get you into the Christmas spirit, you will NOT regret picking this one up!

SPICE LEVEL:
Elodie always delivers fun, spicy scenes, but this one is a little milder than her typical Alchemy-style spice. Still, there’s plenty to enjoy!

Another fantastic book, and this one is perfect for the holidays! Elodie Hart mixes holiday cheer with romance, bringing Santi Vale and Sabrina to life in one intense and captivating story.
The book brings all the nostalgia of the holidays, along with a brief yet intense love story between two beautiful people. Elodie provides a glossary of the main characters at the beginning of the novel, which I have to admit, I loved! She also includes detailed descriptions of holiday traditions that make you feel like you are experiencing them yourself.
Santi and Sabrina truly bring the holidays to life. This is a light, fun read that is sure to brighten your mood. As a healthcare provider, I especially appreciated that Elodie included a realistic experience of starting a common medication and normalized it in an extremely accurate and relatable way. It was refreshing to see, and I think it will resonate with many readers. Well done!
While American English is my first language, I had no difficulty following along. And while I was falling in love with the characters, I also found myself falling in love with some of the English terms and expressions!
As always, Elodie manages to interweave characters from her other books, which just makes you want to go back and read more of her stories.

It might only be October, but this is the perfect slice of holiday cheer! With chaotic family dynamics, cute kids, crazy exes, and a romance at its heart, it’s the literary equivalent of enjoying a perfectly spiced hot chocolate under a fluffy blanket.

Sabrina and Santi are perfect together and, whilst this is a novella and there’s definitely an instant attraction, there’s also an impressive amount of emotional connection and depth for such a short book.

The spice, whilst significantly less than in either the Alchemy or Seraph series, is as well done as you would expect from Elodie Hart. There’s a surprisingly slow burn, and you can really feel the tension building before they finally give in to their mutual attraction.

I loved the cameos from some of our favourite characters from other series. This is something that Elodie Hart does really well, the cameos are always done so well that they feel completely natural to readers of the other series whilst not leaving new readers feeling like they’ve missed something (although, seriously, go and read everything this author has written, you won’t regret it!).

If you’re looking for a spicy little something to get you in the holiday mood, you really can’t go wrong with this one.

Oi, I loved this! I am so happy this is the story I read to kick off the holiday season! Honestly, so happy I feel nauseous 😆

The book description is spot on. It’s a short read (about 150 pages) so we’re really jumping into things “fast” - and I say that both as a true statement and a lie lol. Attraction is there from day 1, but the acting on it part took a while. Elodie really built up the tension for the characters, so it’s a wee bit of a slow burn. Emphasis on “wee bit” lol, it is a novella, so you aren’t wait too long.

Santi was such a golden retriever! I loved it! He’s such a “decent, reliable and boring” guy (read the book to understand this lol). He’s very sweet and was a joy to read about, and definitely not boring lol. Sabrina, I loved her. While Santi is sunshiney, Sabrina is fun but maybe a bit more self-contained than Santi. And yes, Santi loved seeing her let loose 🤭 I loved them both together. They complemented each other perfectly.

It was fun to see some other Elodie Hart characters make appearances!

My only complaint… I need more chapters!

Fuck my life… can you please stop writing exceptionally hot and emotionally literate book husbands; men who respect boundaries and are morally and ethically rounded humans, whilst still being filthy in the bedroom. Men that I want to fantasy marry but can’t, because they’re already committed to the women in the story I’ve just read! This is a public service announcement people!

Santi is a super hot, super accomplished performer, with a crazy blended family and an awesome tween daughter. He gives off extrovert golden retriever vibes, with a side order of cheeky ‘bend you over the nearest surface’ energy.

Sabrina is a sexy, super accomplished chef, with a specialism in nutritional wellness and while this sounds a bit dry on paper, I genuinely enjoyed reading about someone being nerdy and passionate about their craft. This author is really good at contextualising with just enough detail to make it interesting, but not so much that it feels like a TedTalk. Sabrina walks the like between being detail orientated and a little neurotic, but it makes her feel very relatable as a character.

This was meant to be a short Christmas themed novella that just filled a gap in my reading list… I actually really enjoyed it and sort of wish they’d been given more pages to work with. Hope to see more of them cross over into some of the other books - they’re a fun couple.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of a 150 page novella, but Elodie Hart has once again created a story that is fun, beautiful and witty, all within a constrained page count. Not only did we get to know the main characters, Sabrina and Santi, but we also got a whole cast of characters whose personalities jumped off the page.

Sabrina is hired by the Vale family, Santi in particular (you may remember his guest appearance in Duplicity) to help cook food to prepare for his father's upcoming procedure. The Vale family consists of Santi, his father, his step-mom, his mom, his ex-wife and (on occasion) her new partner, and his daughter. You have the patriarch grumbling about having to eat lentils, the ex-wife wanting individually shelled chickpeas (and maybe being hexed?!?), an adorable ten year old who sings like an angel, and cameos by past faves, like Brendan, Callum and Aida.

There were moments that had my laughing out loud (Brendan is a real friend), moments that had me feeling all sorts of warm and fuzzy inside (Santi singing his daughter to sleep is objectively sweet), and of course, the spice was spicing (will never look at a pantry the same way).

I loved getting to know Sabrina and Santi, even in this limited capacity. Elodie Hart never disappoints. This novella is releasing on November 6 2026. I was provided an ARC copy by the author.

What a festive good time! I'm so happy that Elodie decided to gift us with a bonus story for Santi and Sabrina and it was such a joy to read. When Santiago Vale – famous singer and billionaire music mogul – hires Sabrina, an American chef, to help cook for his family over the holidays, the last thing he expected was to fall head over heels for her. But all that forced proximity amongst a very unique 'modern family-esque' backdrop was the perfect setting for a holiday romance.

For such a short novella, Santi and Sabrina have so much chemistry. Santi is the quintessential flirty golden retriever billionaire who falls HARD for the woman he's employed to help his family. Their clandestine late-night feasts and morning runs slowly ramp up the tension until they can't hold back. Their sexy secret rendezvous were deliciously written and so satisfying for a quick read. The cheeky holiday chapter titles, the Cotswolds estate setting, the fun but slightly dysfunctional family characters and sweet & tender moments all made this such a great novella to accompany the others in the Billionaire Christmas series!

What a fun, belly laugh inducing read! Elodie Hart has delivered the perfect little Christmas treat with Get Stuffed.

Santiago Vale is funny, sexy, charming, and unfortunately for our heroine her boss. I haven’t chuckled at a book this much in a long time. From the crazy Vale family dynamics to the food, the festive setting, and all the delicious tension between Santi and his chef, this novella had me thoroughly entertained from beginning to end.

It’s short, sweet, spicy, and packed with Christmas cheer. It made me laugh, made me long for Christmas, and gave me exactly the kind of fun, feel-good romance I was hoping for. And yes, there’s some wonderful sexy time thrown in too!

A gorgeous Cotswolds setting, a sunshiney billionaire, a grumpy-ish chef, plenty of family chaos, and more cheese than you can shake a stick at. What’s not to love?

This is a feel good romantic novella perfect for Christmas. Santi, a world famous tenor, hires Sabrina, a wellness chef, to cook for the family but primarily his father, who has health issues, for the festive period.
There’s instant chemistry between the two and before long it becomes hands on. The spiciness is not on the same level as the Alchemy series , but it’s still steamy. There’s banter between them, with some smutty rhymes whispered to Sabrina, by Santini, which adds to the feeling of keeping things light. There’s tenderness and genuine warmth too between the main characters and no real drama from the characters on the periphery which sdds to a feeling of happiness.
The descriptions of the various family members and the cosy set up in the Cotswolds, such as when they shop for food locally, all add to the ambience so that it’s a bit like watching a movie.
All told its an enjoyable piece of escapism.
