ARC Review
I really enjoyed the storyline and the pacing of this book. It was a really easy and enjoyable read. I loved the quick friendship that grew between the 3 girls. I liked how you kept on guessing and wondering who did it even after finding out and how we kind of got to connect the dots along with the characters. I feel like the relationship between the two main characters was built perfectly and they made sense together.

Becoming a secretary to an arrogant boss?
No problem! Not falling for him?
That’s where things get difficult, and something Natalie was not prepared for. David is the greatest temptation she won’t be able to resist.
Absolutely loved it!

💼💕 He Was a Jerk, She Was Determined to Fix That 💕💼
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars
Workplace romance with banter, a slow-burn relationship, a little mystery, and a boss who desperately needs someone to get him in line? Yes, please. 😂💕
Teaching Mr. Jerk by Sasha J Bee was such an easy and enjoyable read for me. I really liked the storyline and pacing, and I found myself flying through the book because I always wanted to see what was going to happen next.
Natalie is transferred to a new office with one very specific job: get David D'Alessio under control.
Good luck, Natalie. 😂
David is talented, wealthy, arrogant, and apparently has absolutely no interest in following anyone else's rules. The office is a mess, employees aren't exactly respectful of him, and David seems perfectly content to let everything continue that way.
Then Natalie walks in.
She's confident, hardworking, capable, and very good at solving problems before they become actual problems. Watching her try to bring some organization into David's chaotic world was a lot of fun, especially because he wasn't exactly thrilled about having someone tell him what to do.
The banter between these two was one of my favorite parts.
They definitely know how to push each other's buttons, and I loved watching that irritation slowly turn into attraction and then something more. Their relationship felt like it developed naturally, and I thought they made sense together.
I especially appreciated the slow burn.
There was enough time for them to actually get to know each other, work through their differences, and build a connection instead of rushing straight into a relationship. Their chemistry was there, but so was the friendship and understanding underneath it.
And there were definitely moments where I found myself smiling at my phone. ❤️
The mystery was another part of the story that kept me invested.
Even after finding out who was responsible, I still found myself questioning things and trying to connect the dots right alongside the characters. I liked that the reveal didn't completely remove the curiosity for me. There were still pieces to figure out, and those twists and turns added another layer to what was already a fun romance.
But one of my absolute favorite things was the friendship between the three girls.
I loved how quickly they connected and how their friendship became such a fun part of the story. There's something about watching women become friends and genuinely support each other that I will always enjoy, and their dynamic added another layer of fun to the book.
Overall, Teaching Mr. Jerk was a cute, entertaining workplace romance with a slow-burn relationship, great banter, a fun mystery, and characters who kept me turning the pages.
I really enjoyed the pacing because the story never felt like a chore to get through. It was an easy read that kept me entertained, and even though there were a few things that didn't completely work for me, there was so much that I enjoyed.
David and Natalie had a fun dynamic, their relationship felt believable, and I loved watching the two of them go from boss and employee who couldn't quite see eye to eye to something much more.
If you enjoy workplace romance, slow burn, banter, jerk-to-something-more energy, friendship, and a little mystery mixed into your romance, this is definitely a fun one to check out. 💕📚

I was given an ARC of this book. I am leaving an honest review.
I had been waiting for Natalie's story since I read The Week We Borrowed Love. I loved her sassy character who put her boss in place.
Sadly, I don't feel we got that same character in this book. The sassiness was still present, but there were also a lot more insecurities in her that we didn't see in the first book. It makes sense in certain regards to her backstory, but some things don't add up. I cannot imagine her being a highly valued assistant to the CEO of a very lucrative business and only making enough money for a bad apartment and no car. Yes, I understand why she is saving her money. However, with no real values discussed, that is either a really expensive thing she is saving for or the math ain't mathing.
I'm not fully sold on David either. Yes, he has growth to a point in the story, but (and maybe it's just me) I found him revolting as a love interest. He was a disgusting playboy, bringing the play into his workplace and not really doing anything. I wanted to see more of the changes he went through in this story to make him worthy of Natalie and her hard efforts. A lot of what he did to help Natalie out or be there for her was a show of wealth, i.e., I bought you this or paid for you to do this. I guess I just wanted to see more of him putting in the physical hours of work, of having good and heartfelt communication with Natalie.
I did love the two new besties that Natalie found and celebrated their little found family dynamic.
All said and done, it was still a fun read, and I recommend it for a quick rom-com with some spice!

Natalie has a job that keeps her constantly on the go. Yet she enjoys it—finding solutions and tackling problems before they even arise. But at one point, she is assigned a new direct supervisor, and things descend into total chaos. There is no order in the office; imployees come and go haphazardly, and the employees have absolutely no respect to their boss.
David belongs to a prominent family, but he is essentially a brat. He does what he wants, gets what he wants, and takes what he wants. So, needless to say, the last thing he wants is a secretary who constantly pesters him and expects him to show up at the office every day. He doesn't know what to do; he isn't allowed to fire her, so he tries everything he can to make Natalie quit on her own.
Circumstances force them to work together because there is no one else they can trust. Their dynamic shifts from hatred to hilarious banter, and on to steamy nights and promises. If these tropes appeal to you, it is definitely worth a read!

Interesting story, but a bit disjointed.
The book starts with the FMC, Natalie, getting transferred to her company's PR branch to try to get, David, the MMC, and her new boss, in line. She seems to be a confident, competent assistant who worked hard for her previous boss, David's cousin, Mark.
David, on the other hand, comes off as a drunken slacker with 2 girlfriends. It seems as if Natalie will have her hands full.
As they work together, their attraction grows. But at the same time, they become almost the opposite of how they were at the beginning of the story. David begins to put in an effort at work and Natalie seems to become more weak-willed, less confident, and it appears as if her world now revolves around David.
The story seemed disjointed to me. Like the first third of the book was written by a different author, maybe? It's hard to describe but I do know that I didn't like David at first but at the end, I didn't like Natalie. But that is just my opinion.

Thank you to Sasha Bee for the eARC of this book.
Quick read and I really like Sasha’s style of writing. I really enjoyed the week we borrowed love so much so I went into this continuation really looking forward to David and Natalie’s story by the way the first book ended. I was not as invested in their story and it fell a little flat to me. It felt like they were very different people at the end versus from the beginning too quickly. David wasn’t likable to me but I did like Natalie who was a strong FMC who I just wanted to win. Story felt a little disjointed but then got back on track. I liked the end and how the story wrapped up this couple.

Have read both of the released books! I really love the way Sasha brings emotions into her stories—they feel layered, honest, and true. And the way she paints the scenery? Chef’s kiss. 🤌✨
The character arc in this one was so moving, too. I’d been waiting for this book—the tropes already had me intrigued, and the way Natalie was present in Book 1 made me even more excited to get her story. I genuinely enjoyed reading this one. 🥹

Huge thanks to the author for gifting me this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

“Teaching Mr. Jerk” was a fun, easy read.
Hard-working Natalie just got transferred to help the underperforming office of David D’Alessio. David is great at his job and does not like being told what to do. Especially his new secretary. Can Natalie get David to take his job seriously without losing her cool? Can David convince Natalie that he is more than just a playboy and that he is the only one for her?
This book is a slow-burn, banter-filled romantic comedy.
I am leaving this honest review voluntarily after receiving an advance copy.

Workplace romance?! Yes please
Such a cute fun read. This is an interconnected series from The Week We Borrowed Love. You don’t necessarily have to read that , but it may help.
Natalie our FMC has to move office assignments per the CEO and now work for David D’Alessio her former bosses cousin.
David is the MMC a big playboy who’s not even sure when and where his employees are coming in.
The banter is really good between these two their romance was slow burn which I appreciated. Be careful before you eat the doughnuts lol
Thanks Sasha for the ARC. I’ll be happy to read Ellie’s story

I really enjoyed this one! The pacing was great and it was such an easy, enjoyable read.
I especially loved the friendship between the three girls and how quickly they bonded. I also loved that even after finding out who did it, I was still questioning everything and trying to connect the dots alongside the characters.
The relationship between the two main characters was also so well done. Their connection felt natural, and they just made so much sense together. Overall, such a fun and engaging read! ✨

I enjoyed David and Natalie's story!
She is the assistant and damn good at her job. She is tasked with getting David in line.
He is the boss and takes it for granted until Natalie shows up, puts him in his place and helps him to keep his position with his team.
There were some twists and turns in the story that made it extra exciting!

I actually really enjoyed this book! The story was cute and easy to get into, and I really liked the tension between the characters. Their relationship definitely kept me interested, and there were some really cute and funny moments.
I did feel like some parts were a little predictable, but that didn’t really bother me because the book was still really entertaining. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable read, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re into romance with some drama and tension! 💗

Such a cozy fall read! David is a talented but spoiled nephew of the company’s CEO. A professional secretary is assigned to him to teach him how to work hard… if she doesn’t fall for him first. I highly recommend this story!

That's such a fun read! Loved every page! FMC is used to order and control, while MMC is pure chaos, emotions, and passion. He may be unbearable, but how is she supposed to resist him? Especially when she promised herself she would never get involved in an office romance. What a fiery couple!

I loved the beginning with sassy Natalie and also some of the mystery elements
unfortunately it went downhill at about 40% in.
I didnt feel anything for the couple unfortunately which is really sad because i love a good dislike to lovers.
