A thought provoking novel that explores health, wealth and happiness or lack thereof, in L.A.
There is so much to be lost or gained in L.A and the experiences captured in Prospects would last a lifetime.
Kate manages to inject a gentle humour in to this realistic portayal of how life doesn't always go the way you planned and can change so quickly, dampening your hopes of chasing your dreams.
Difficult themes are covered in here such as a devastating cancer diagnosis.
Well written and an entertaining read!

This book is set in Los Angeles, and the place is every bit as important as the plot or characters.
