Her boss's retirement leaves Cora with a bit of an odd legacy. He believes there's something in the woods and he's been quietly observing it for the past forty years. Which is impressive in itself, really. The point is that her boss is retiring and he's putting this strange, incredible secret in her hands.

And Cora...doesn't quite believe him. Or, she believes he (and the others who have witnessed it) have seen *something*, but they misidentified what it is. So she heads out to the backcountry to see if she can figure out what it is.

AND BOY DOES SHE. Creatures who are not quite wolf, not quite human, but who are intrigued by her. Creatures who ignite something in her the moment she lays eyes on them. Soon she's exploring what it means to be part of an interspecies relationship and she's enjoying every minute of it.

A little skepticism, a backcountry trip, and an encounter that rocks this park ranger's world. *thumbs up* all around.

📝 Story Review: This author is always my go-to when I want a fast paced spicy read without a lot of plot. Her books always deliver the heat along with a variety of creatures!

Between the Trees is less than 50 pages and half of that is pure spice! It’s not a romance. Just a fun spicy short story where a park ranger goes to investigate what she thinks is nothing, but turns out to be true… and her body decides she’s ready to have some wild fun!

Genre: Monster Smut
Series: Creatures of the Night, Book 3
POV: First Person; Single
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4/5

Tropes 👇

- Werewolf x Human Threesome
- Park Ranger FMC
- Low Plot, High on Smut
- Kn0tting/Double Penetration

I did not read the synopsis on this so I went in blind, which happens a lot for erotica novellas since they’re so quick anyways.

I didn’t really know where this was going. Once I started reading it I had an idea thanks to the cover but it still kept me wondering. I liked the idea of this book, it was unique and kept my interest the whole time.

Don’t even get me started on the sex. It was filthy and hot. I honestly wish there had been an epilogue of some sort to see what happens after. It definitely hints at it and of course my brain can do the math for me but I wanted to read it.

A fan of Adrian Blues monster books that comes with come with great chemistry, nothing too dark, just straight up naughty enjoyment. A few giggles in there from a great relationship, and the promise of more to come between our FMC and her new furry friends.

Too short, need more

A sexy little novella that needs to be a full novel. I would love to read more about these creatures and the FMC.

Spicy quick read

Yum, Between the Trees was nice palate cleanser. Moving this series up in my Monster TBR, as the others look delectable as well.
